I love my Deny shower curtain, but the pillow is a maybe for me. The graphic and colors are gorgeous, but the pillow itself is squishy and skimpy on the stuffing front. The bottom is stitched closed and puckers a bit, interfering with the ability to see the full graphic. I guess I like my throw pillows fuller and a little more substantial feeling.

We currently use 1200 thread count sheets and expected nice, luxurious quality sheets when we ordered the 1500 thread count.

Picking up the package at the mailbox was a disappointment. It felt very light. Was there only one sheet? or did they only send the pillow cases.

Arriving home, the wife and I opened the package, and she exclaimed, "What!?" My heart sank. The sheets feel so cheap and paper thin. Would probably be very nice in hot, humid Arkansas or Mississippi, but in Alaska, we like thick sheets that get softer with each wash.

My stomach feels ill, and I won't purchase from this vendor again. My second thought was to put them on the guest bed, but then, I'm embarrassed.

I will never purchase from amazon again I recieved both sets of sheets which are not what they avertised they are no where near the thread count they say nor do they fit my bed one of the vendors called me and said the would issue a credit which I never got the other send a return authorization they said they couldn't take them back beacuse they where opened if I had not opened them how would I be able to tell they are not what they claim

I was a little disappointed with my sheet set. The color is much darker than it appeared. It is called sage and appeared to be a pale green. What I have is what I would consider olive green or army green! In addition, the sheets are very thin. I can't imagine that they will last very long. I really question these being 1500 thread count sheets (Okay, maybe 1500TC total, but surely not 1500 TPI). You can see right through them (they are thin yarn)! I grabbed one of my old 1200 count pillow cases and I'm sure it weighs just as much as this entire 1500 count set. I was hoping for nice and luxurious, but what I got reminds me of cheap sheets from WalMart. I work for a world class hotel and I can assure you that these would never be on one of our beds.

Seeing that the art was much, much higher quality than I expected, and also being larger so as to nearly cover the entire pillow on each side, this was a steal, considering the often catastrophic drop in quality domesticated Dakimakura have.

You can easily tell the fake ones from the real ones, and the reason they're often so insanely expensive ($150-300 typically) is because they are, of course, imported. However, the real ones you can find in Japan (and a few websites, but be prepared to pay a fortune) are made of wonderful fabric that is gorgeous to the touch, and art that is extremely detailed and vibrant.

In addition to actual domesticated Dakimakura, there are simple knockoffs, and a dead giveaway is that they use a material called "peachskin" or something similar, which is far from the description, as it's abrasive and so uncomfortable that you just can't enjoy it. The art is always downgraded to disastrous levels and all you get is a cheap print on cheap fabric.

Anyway, this, as one of the few domesticated Dakimakura that sometimes trickle onto Western shores, is of excellent quality for one in the same class. Shirley Yeager looks and feels great as a hugging pillow. They really do help me sleep, as they retain warmth and are kind of comforting in their own way (and I'm not that big an anime fan, but I find these fascinating), and I'm always excited to see these pop up every once in a while. For the price, it's wonderfully functional.

Great stuff. I gave four stars for "educational", because, depending on how young you are, it is, well, a bit erotic, and it's common for these to be used for masturbatory purposes. Teenagers might find them useful for a different reason than others, so to speak. So long as they don't forget that it is not a substitute for intimacy with a living thing.

Highly recommended for the curious.

Have had these pillows for about 6 months and they are holding up! My wife and I love these and they have replaced some old flat pillows (that lasted just over a year -we use them a lot!) on our couch, reviving the cases and aesthetics of our living room. The material on the exterior is not my favorite though -I don't know what it is, but it tends to get hot when my face touches it (we bought a little big for our cases and part of it is exposed -we need another button!) and isn't the most comfortable. It's my problem, but thought I'd mention it.

Not worth the money. Super cheap covering and the filling was just a rolled up ball of poly fill that needed lots of pulling and shaping to fill out the form. You'd be better off buying your own poly fill and sewing your own little square.

Great pillows. The stuffing is a perfect medium. Not to firm, not to flimsy. The fill my pillow cases very nicely.

I had thought that these synthetically filled pillows might be softer, but they were quite stuffed and ended up being quite full/firm leaving less options for "chopping" the tops of the pillow or manipulating the look as part of the decor.

They did fit perfectly in my 16x16 covers so that worked out very well.

I received this item a week ago and the pictures on the site do not do it justice. This is very beautiful. The colors are muted green, purple and gray. The King size actually covers the bed so many King comforters barely make it over all sides. VERY pleased with way it looks on my bed and it is very warm too.

it was kind of dark but you if you have a lot of sunshine in your room it will probably be alright. It was also too shiny for me.

I read the previous review about the black stripes sewn on the comforter and was a bit nervous, but I went for it anyway. I'm glad I did. It's really pretty and goes well in my room. I don't mind the black and white pieces...it's nice to be able to accent with black (frames, throw pillows, etc.) The colors seems a bit more bland than the pictures look...the green is a bit more grey to me (might just be the lighting in my room though). And even though there is purple on it, and a coppery color, I'd have to say that the main color is almost a dull blue. It really is pretty and great for the price. I love the material too. I have been trying to find a comforter that doesn't attract dog hair like a magnet and so far this type of material is perfect. It's shiny and smooth, but not gaudy shiny. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase!

If I could have given this zero stars I would have. The photo is very deceptive. While the photo shows lovely grey and purple colors, what you can't see are crazy 1"-wide sewn-on strips of black-and-white striped material that doesn't match at all. In the photo these bizarre stripes look like they are dark grey, but when you get the comforter you will see that they are really white and black zebra stripes that don't match the grey and purple at all. Since you can't see this in the photo it really should be mentioned in the written description. Why anyone thought this would be attractive is beyond me. Also, although I wouldn't have sent it back for this, the comforter is so thin it is more of a bedspread than a comforter. It may work for lightweight summer use, but it would not be warm enough for year-round use. Don't waste your money and your time on this one! It's going back today.

This body pillow is wonderful for when my bones and joints are really achey and I need some extra support. The pillow is generously filled, and the shape "bounces back" when I'm not using it. It provides great support and is long enough to support my knees and head on at the same time. The pillow's covering is nothing fancy, but doesn't have any "crunchy" noise as some pillows I've had in the past have had. I like also that it is hypoallergenic and has no odor whatsoever, as some new pillows can have.

This pillow does not come with a pillowcase, but I have queen and standard pillowcases on either end (which covers it completely) until I can get a proper body pillowcase for it.

I like the way it bounces back and stays fluffy, it's exactly what I needed, and recommend this body pillow.

At the time of this purchase, this pillow is the cheapest compared to all other ones, and its quality is great. It is soft, sufficiently filled, and has held up so far. It does not come with a cover, but is worth the money!

I have to mention that the pillow I received was navy blue and doesn't look like the one in the pic. However, I paid the same amount and it is actually great quality. No weird pillow smell and even the pillow itself is soft enough to use without a cover if you have to.

Brentwood Brushed Twill Bedrest

We put our new flat screen TV in the middle bedroom, which means that one or two viewers need to sit up in bed to watch. Finding some good backrests proved to be harder than we thought. Local stores had nothing. There is an item called a BedLounge available online but it costs $130-180.

This product for $26 with free shipping does the job. The twill cover is nicely made. Back support is good and solid. Fill material has the right density. Delivered to my porch free of charge. Excuse me while I go watch a movie. Thanks Amazon!

We bought a couple of these three months ago for being able to watch TV and read in bed, and they're basically OK and get some use, but there are some problems with them that had known about them, we wouldn't have purchased the bedrests:

The cover is not removable, so you have to put a throw or a sheet over them otherwise they will eventually get dirty and there's nothing you can do.

Two will not fit comfortably side by side on a queen size bed. The armrests are not movable and quite stiff, so two people using them next to each other will be fighting for elbow room. Additionally, the armrests really get in the way of breakfast trays.

The bedrests are really heavy. It's not easy to just pull them on and off the bed as needed, and if you're thinking of storing them in a high place when not in use then forget it, unless you're strong or prepared for a struggle every time. Sure you can put it on the floor, but remember if it gets dirty it stays dirty.

Tall people especially won't like leaving these on the bed when not in use, as they take up quite a few inches of the length of the bed.

They're hard and not very comfortable on their own. I think this is especially true if you have a firm bed as we do. You have no support for the base of your spine when leaning back, so you need to also use a soft pillow.

If these things don't bother you, then you'll probably like this product.

After too many mornings waking up with a sore neck, from leaning against my headboard, I decided I needed to find something that would help. I've seen something like these in stores, but what I saw, and felt, were pillowy. Sort of light and flexable. Not good for what I needed.

I've had these on my amazon wishlist for quite a while. I came back to amazon to buy an overbed table. I saw these on my wishlist, so decided to order these as well.

These are NOT pillows. These are more firm. I mean, I was surprised at how firm they were. Not solid, but firm enough. I mean they really are perfect for sitting up. I still put a regular pillow on top of these, behind my head, but these are great. With the little armrests, you get a lot of 'comfort settings'. For the price I got these for, I am wicked happy. Price actually came down since too *rough*.

I love that amazon lets us post reviews, and they seem to honestly allow both positive and negative reviews to be left. Kudo's to amazon!! I do worry my positive reviews affect prices for others, and I have a feeling the prices for these may rise back up after this post. But, to me, these things are WELL worth it!!!

I noticed one reviewer emphasized how heavy these are. I was prepared, before it came, to have a couple of muscular guys on standby to carry it around for me.....but no, it is just NOT that heavy. It is heavier than the very cheap ones found elsewhere that give no support and don't last long---I had one of those in the past that was totally useless.

This is a nice, firm, solid bedrest or backrest. It definitely holds you up and seems as though it will not soon break down and become "mushy".....I do agree that because the angle is pretty much straight up and down some people, like myself, will need a small pillow or rolled up sheet or blanket for behind their lower back to feel more supported. Others may want something similar behind the lower neck.

The arms ARE large and probably larger than they need to be. When I read or use the laptop in bed my arms are not on the armrests...but others may do things differently. The angle of the armrests is "outward", which gives you more room to sit IN the backrest but is an awkward position for the arms to actually rest on.

I don't understand why different prices are set for what appears to be merely different colors. I got the red (garnet) which is a nice bright color. The fabric is nice, not at all scratchy....though again I agree it should have come with a zipper so it could be washed when needed. I was able to blot out a small spill with cold water right away, and it dried without a stain or mark.

So far I'm happy with it. I read in bed sometimes, or use my Laptop, and that is my main use for it. Appears it will last a while without problems.

I would recommend it a bit higher if it had come with a zipper and shorter or differently angled arm rests. That is just personal preference however.

It has an envelope pocket closure so your pillow will be covered on all sides and won't have any ends flopping around. It seems a good fit for a standard pillow. Washing it with woolite has helped the silk hold up. In the past some silk pillowcases that I have had have been eaten up by traditional cleaners. For this reason, make sure the soap really is silk friendly. Be warned, because of the silk friendly cleaner requirement it can be hard to get protein stains such as blood spots off of the fabric unless you do it immediately. If you need to spot clean, try some salt. That seems to be a safe option for a stain.

These are just like they sound...silk pillowcases. Soft and, well, silky!

I've used them for years and then they became really hard to find for some reason. Just since I bought these from Amazon the scarring on the left side of my face has become less noticeable again. They feel so good too.

If you are hot, just turn your pillow over and it's nice and cool. If you have really sensitive skin, these will cut down on the amount of moisture that is stripped from your skin by cotton or fleece cases.

These are not like regular cases either. They are like slipcovers for throw pillows rather than slip on like regular cases! No more pillows sliding out the case in the middle of the night or, worse, your hand getting caught inside and giving you nightmares. (a personal experience..lol)

I was not a believer when I first compared this pillowcase to its satin contemporaries: How can it be real silk, at such a great price AND be machine washable? I was exceedingly skeptical. But, the bargain hunter in me said "Why settle for the imitation when you can get the real thing at nearly the same price?". I purchased, and happily, I was not disappointed.

My reasons for wanting a new pillowcase were twofold:

I live in a humid climate, and I was worried that it might get unbearably warm, but it only got as warm as any other pillowcase I've slept on, and, if I wake up at night, I can just flip it, and its nice and cool. After a hard day, the silky smoothness of this pillowcase beckons me to lie down and be soothed, and when I awaken, I don't have that unsightly crushed pillowface that we all dread!

The product description doesn't list its momme weight, so I had no idea how thick the silk would be before I received it. The picture shows a silver tone but it is truly pearl white with a little yellow tone, which I don't mind.

It is comfortable and good for your skin, but it is thinner than I would like. You can easily see the patterns on your pillow through it. But for the price, I cannot complain much.

So if you want to try a silk pillowcase for the first time for yourself, it is a good value for the price. But you want to impress someone else, you'd better look elsewhere.
