First I want to say everyone should do a little research first. This is a duvet cover set. Its not a blanket or comforter. You are suppose to buy the Duvet to go INSIDE of the cover. That's why its so thin. A duvet is similar to a comforter just a little thinner since its suppose to be inserted into a duvet cover. The reason for this is its convenient and cost effective. It's easier to have one duvet and just purchase different covers or sets then it would be to buy several comforters in different colors to match your bedroom color or themes.

Anyway since that's cleared up. The set itself is very nice and you get a few extra add-ons like the pillows and shams. Most duvet covers only come with the cover and bed skirt. I think the price is awesome and will eventually purchase more. Although I do wish that the decorative pillow and shams had removable cases. This would be better than purchasing different sets with different pillows each time. If you purchase two or more sets like this you will eventually have a whole lot of decorative pillows and shams that match those sets. I will post pics of the Duvet cover with a duvet inside if requested.

I actually got my shipment today...I love it. The Duvet was perfectly thin...this is what I wanted since I bought a 10in. Memory foam mattress, and I wanted to tuck the Duvet in the sides of the mattress. A lot of people seemed upset that it was very thin, but what they don't realize is that a Duvet is supposed to be thin...It's not a comforter...lol...Anyways,the colors are off. In the picture it looks purple , but it is slightly reddish in color...which is still very pretty. Over all a very beautiful set all together. Also, there is a zipper on the inside of the Duvet where I guess it can be stuffed if one prefers to. I recommend this set. I like it very much. I also bought the recommended sheet sets in chocolate and cafe.

I really liked the warm complementary color combinations(burgundy, brown, and tan) The faux suede topper is very soft and with the down comforter inside, it is soft and warm. I also liked all the decorative pillows that were part of the package. They are a nice addition to the new look of my bedroom.

I bought a size too big and I'm so glad I did!

I hadn't saved this to my wish list, so when I did a search, I saw two sizes -the queen was more expensive and had more expensive shipping.

I have Amazon Prime so was going to give up because of the cost of shipping, but when I looked at all the other comforter sets I was interested in, this design still won out.

It was also much less expensive than the ones I didn't like as much -even when factoring shipping costs.

The reviews for the queen size version had a few complaints that the size wasn't really big enough for a queen. One commenter said she bought the king sized version and it fit perfectly.

Between the price difference and that reviewer's remarks, I bought the king sized comforter for my queen sized bed.

It fits, without much extra, so if you have a king size bed this might not be the comforter for you since there's no super size option for you!

If you have a queen and get the king, you may need to buy extra pillows. I had a bunch of queen sized pillows but they just didn't fill out the pillowcases well. I ordered Dream Supreme Plus Gel Fiber-Filled Pillows, Standard (Set of 2) and they completed the set.

The throw pillows and neck pillow are perfectly fine for display but if you're like me, you want real pillows and lots of 'em.

I'm very happy with this comforter -it looks great. If you don't have a box spring (I don't), the bed skirt will be useless.

Unlike another, I think the thickness is perfect -but I live in Southern California and so I just need something warm but not heavy or thick as I did on the east coast. This is more of a decorative comforter that doubles as a pleasant blanket.

I received this cover today. When I opened the package, I was immediately disappointed. The fabric is thin. (Yes, I know the duvet goes inside.) The burgundy color is a bit loud, but not too bright red nor too purple. My best description would be that it is a "cheap" item trying to look expensive. In low light, the rather flimsy material does not show as much. The picture makes it look better than it is. If the polyester material were upgraded, this would be a nice cover. The fact that they included a sham (quite nice including a lining), 2 pillow cases (again, nice) and three pillows (fair), means that at the very competitive price that this cover sells for, there had to be something not-so-good. It would have been better, in my opinion, to skip the pillows (I gave mine away)and put their resources into a higher quality fabric.

If I could, I would rank this 2-1/2, but I gave it 3 stars because there are relatively few covers that are not too feminine for my taste. So I saved it instead of sending it back.

Also it got three stars because the cover is 92 inches long. Some covers are less than that which means that the duvet inside bunches up a little or does not easily cover the entire queen size bed.

I plan on going to Target tomorrow and buy a duvet cover that I really liked. But it cost $95.00. My attempt here to buy something on the Internet cheaper was probably a mistake, but one I can live with.

I have a nearly identical midweight comforter, but was looking for a summer weight one. It's very nice, the weight was right, etc., but I can't use it because it has a strong chemical smell. I noticed it out of the package when I got it, and just put a sheet under it and over the top part by my face. The label said to "Professionally launder", which I did nearly immediately, hoping to get rid of the smell.

Well, it smells worse than ever now. It's kind of like raw silk dipped in cholorphorm and mixed with acetone. I wish I hadn't used it and had it washed, because it's probably going to get thrown out now. I'm sad, because I would have loved it otherwise.

I was looking around for a new comforter, but after owning a few different down comforters and getting tired of the feathers and extra heat I was trying to find an alternative. After some research I heard silk comforters help to regulate body temperature and don't trap heat like down. Most of the silk comforters I looked up were extremely pricey, but this one was a great price. I was a little skeptical, but I figured I would pull the trigger and worse case scenario I use it for guests. It's pretty thin, but comfortable to sleep with. My girlfriend has a tendency to get night sweats, and the down made it very bad for her although she loved the feeling of it when she went to sleep. This comforter has kept her from getting night sweats and keeps us both cozy at night. For the price, I think it's amazing. I paid 3x as much for my last down comforter and it's now packed away. I will probably get a better one eventually, but this one is doing it's job nicely so far.

I bought a medium quality silk comforter in China several years ago and this one is about the same quality. I gave this one 5 stars due to its value based on quality vs. price, which is outstanding.

Another reviewer had problems with chemical smells, so the first thing I did as soon as I unzipped it was to smell it. Mine had a very faint odor of woodworking oil stain as if it had been on recently stained wood. The label says the silk is sanitized, so maybe there's a cleaning chemical involved. It's not even noticeable now that I've put it in the duvet cover.

Silk comforters are made differently from down ones. The silk is actually whole cocoons that are stretched across a duvet sized frame one on top another. So the insides are many thin layers of randomly pulled raw silk that lay flat and run the full length of the comforter. The thickness is minimal, and unlike down, is fairly even everywhere.

This duvet is lightweight (for silk) and appropriate for summer or well-heated bedrooms in winter. They do make heavier and costlier silk comforters for colder situations. I find that silk breathes really well and is very adaptive to temperature, so it's seldom ever is too warm or cool when sleeping. Compared to a summer weight down comforter, this silk one feels more substantial over me and the duvet holds its shape better. It's like having a blanket over me without getting roasted on warm nights. I use silk in the summer and switch back to a winter-weight down comforter when it gets cold.

The only think that you may not like about silk is the blanket-like weight and stiffness of it. If you love the feeling of an ultra light, floppy, airy down duvet in summer, this may not be your cup of tea. If you want a duvet that keeps its shape well and is highly adaptable to temperature, I'd recommend this one.

For $117.00 I expected this to be a little more, well, nicer. It feels like a run of the mill medium size comforter, but not fluffy at all (as shown by the picture). The outer fabric is not that soft. If it gets chilly I need a blanket along with this comforter to stay warm. A quality duvet will probably make this somewhat worthy. I'm just dissapointed, and i should have waited for more reviews to be posted. Oh well.

I found it to be way too small would be great if it where for a child but not an adult.

Sailor Moon Sailormoon Round Throw Pillow

This cushion is GORGEOUS and really big. It's made of a really nice fabric too, I was so pleased when it came.

My only bother was that the top left of the cushion where Sailor Moon's left 'dumpling' is sinks in and the stiching is really bad in places (especially 'Moon' which is two toned, red and white, so I presume they stiched OVER the red of the red arm band of her glove?) or not filled in. I've seen another girl with her cushion and it has the same thing, though her stiching is not so bad in other places, but still some white gaps.

Also, on the side of my pillow, it has a crackly thing in it? I think it's one of those little bags some companies stink in their products to keep it 'fresh' but I don't know.

Overall, a 4/5. I would recommend it to moonies 100%! Just don't expect the best stiching. The picture for this cushion is deceiving, as my cushion was not perfect like the picture shows.

Dreamaway Waterproof Mattress Protector

I give this three stars not because of the quality, but because of the fit. I ordered the full size for my son's bed, and was disappointed that it did not fit. (Didn't even come close to fitting). I had to exchange for a queen, and that fits my FULL size mattress like a glove.

I would suggest save yourself the time and order the queen if you have a full bed

After opening the bag and seeing the volume, I was quite concerned that my fitted sheet would still fit over my mattress, but it actually fits better. It's much easier to make my bed now that I don't have to tuck in the fitted sheet along the sides of my bed. I am quite fond of that.

The fit of the protector itself is quite snug and the material/elastic on the sides is much higher quality than any other I've owned. I had to tug quite hard and never once did I think I would come close to ripping it.

There are two things I'm not so crazy about, but they are minor issues. First, washing is not a problem in my regular size machine, but drying is time consuming. I would suggest only washing this when it can be dried outside in the sun all day. There is one corner of the protector that seems to have more stuffing than the others. It took two drying cycles and hanging in the sun for four hours for that section to dry sufficiently. (I followed the directions on the care tag to stop the dryer and reposition the protector for even drying.) The other issue is that every time you turn in bed, it's a little noisy. But unless you are a very light sleeper like me, this should not affect your decision to purchase.

All in all, this is a nice quality mattress protector that adds a nice bit of poofiness to your bed.

The Pros

It's cheap

It's thicker, so there's a nice bit of cushion

it is waterproof, though I cleaned up the spill after a couple minutes (didn't let it soak through)

The Cons

It doesn't fit super deep mattress, it barely fit ours which is 17in (yes I know it says 15 but it's hard to find sheets that fit ours that isn't pricey)

It slides a bit after you put sheets on it, not horribly so, but noticeably

It's hotter than our previous mattress pad (though that one was thinner, although both were waterproof)

Bottom line, if you need a cheap waterproof mattress pad that has a bit of cushion to it I'd get it. I haven't left a stain on there past a couple minutes, and I haven't washed it yet, I will update when I do.

Update Oct 2012:

It washed fine, but it's much, hotter than my last mattress pad and sometimes moves with us in the middle of the night if it gets really hot. I think it'll be perfect for winter and fall, but for summer I'll be sticking with my thinner one.

I'm a Waverly fan and I've been looking for a lightweight quilt for some time now. Fortunately I finally found one with the Charleston Chirp set. Its colors are more vibrant than the photos, however I am pleased with them and the pattern. There's a lot color variation, so it could be paired with other solid shams or dust ruffle if preferred. I've already got some cable knit euro shams and a throw that match the red in the set exactly.

I like that it's 100% cotton and can be washed as needed. I washed it on cold, delicate cycle upon arrival and only put it in the dryer on low for about 15 minutes. Then I hung it up to dry while still damp. The dust ruffle and shams needed to be ironed, but it didn't take too long. There was no shrinkage and washing it softened it a bit.

Overall I'm really pleased with the set and for the price it seems worth it.

I stumbled upon this quilt set in a local department store, but found a better deal on Amazon.com. The photo on line does not do this item justice. The prints are so very vibrant, and the stripes are a great contrast to the flowers and birds -they coordinate beautifully. I love the quality of the fabric as well. We are totally thrilled with this purchase! Highly recommended!

These are beautiful sheets and they are ultra luxurious to lay on when first out of the packaging. They make you feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. My only complaint is in the sizing. These sheets are advertised as being for a "Queen" bed. I have a standard queen sized bed and the fitted sheet almost looks like it's King sized when I put it on! It rumples, crinkles and folds underneath you every time you roll over in bed. I'm hoping that once washed, the sheet will "shrink" down to Queen size. The pillowcases, shams, flat sheet & duvet cover were all perfect.

I will definitely buy these sheets (in a different colour) again.

I chose bed bath and beyond because of their hassle free return policy, its ridiculously great, they even accept an exchange up to a full year later, and if you have the receipt they'll give your money back up to a year. I do like this pillow a lot and definitely see why body pillows are necessary with pregnancy. I cannot sleep without it at 18 weeks. However this pillow is a little much. It is heavy and has 3 parts attached by thin fabric. At night I feel like I have to wrestle with it at times. Sometimes I find myself wishing it was just two parts or even just a straight pillow. If you're someone that likes to be completely surrounded by things when sleeping this pillow could be right for you. I, however, prefer to not be completely surrounded by pillow so I should have gotten something else.

I've never written ANY review before, but since this poor pillow didn't have any and I ordered it anyway (based on gut instinct) I felt it deserved one. I love the available positioning of the pillow. While I have no other pillow to compare it to (Snoogle, Back and Body, etc.) I would imagine this falls right along the same line as those...but with MORE positioning availability. I slept on it for the first time last night and had a wonderful, comfortable nights sleep! Of course, as with the majority of other maternity body pillows out there (so I've read) the material for the cover is not particularly soft; however, the comfort and positioning of the pillow made up for that. I'm sure this will be an invaluable source of comfort for me throughout my pregnancy!

Have had these pillows for about 6 months and they are holding up! My wife and I love these and they have replaced some old flat pillows (that lasted just over a year -we use them a lot!) on our couch, reviving the cases and aesthetics of our living room. The material on the exterior is not my favorite though -I don't know what it is, but it tends to get hot when my face touches it (we bought a little big for our cases and part of it is exposed -we need another button!) and isn't the most comfortable. It's my problem, but thought I'd mention it.

Not worth the money. Super cheap covering and the filling was just a rolled up ball of poly fill that needed lots of pulling and shaping to fill out the form. You'd be better off buying your own poly fill and sewing your own little square.

Usually love Gaiam products but the organic cotton pillow just wasn't for me. The casing was stiff and a little crackly-sounding, which isn't what I want to hear when I'm trying to sleep. The pillow itself didn't feel as airy and breathable as I had hoped. I returned it (had to pay the return shipping myself) and the credit was processed in a timely manner.

This mattress pad is quite thick.

The elastic sides hold it snugly in place and come down all the way on a 14-inch deep mattress. The cushy pad fully covers the top of a queen size bed.

It's been washed once with no problems no shrinking or wear. It seemed too bulky for the dryer, so I laid it out to dry. I have the same pad in a twin which fits in the dryer easily.

My mattress has a memory foam top. This mattress pad does seem to noticeably help cool mattress.

The sizing was the best I have found it sliped right on to my queen mattress and I have a 3" Foam topper on it, but it fit o problem. It is very soft infact my husband said he had to get re use to the softer mattress. The gripper on the side.s of the matress expand and fit very snuggly over the topper. I am very pleased with the mattress pad.
