Bought my husband and myself both a Serta gel-memory foam bed pillow at Sams for a little cheaper than here. The pillows are quite heavy and as the other reviewer noted, you can't scrunch them up like a normal pillow, if that is what you are used to doing.
I have went through sooo many pillows over the years, and have never found one that I loved till I bought this one! It is firm but molds to your head and shoulders perfectly!! I twist and turn ALOT and the pillow is quite accommodating, molding into what ever position I find myself in. My husband has had back surgery and often wakes up with neck pain and not once has he woke up in pain using this pillow. We both love it and would recommend this pillow 100% !
I've been having an increasingly sore neck and left shoulder off and on for about 5 months. I had never connected the soreness with how I sleep, or with my pillow, until three weeks ago, when my husband went out of town and I tried out his special contoured support pillow that he uses for his neck. I honestly didn't like that pillow very much, but I wasn't sore and slept better in that one night than I had in months!

I am mostly a back sleeper, with some side and tummy sleeping. I have found I actually sleep less on my sides with this pillow, due to the pillow height being a bit lower than what is needed for side support. I think this has a lot to do with why my shoulder isn't hurting the pillow is actually encouraging me subconciously to sleep in healthier positions.
True, this pillow does not scrunch up, but the big fluffy feather pillow I had been using (very scrunchy and puffy) just wasn't taking care of me properly. This Serta Pillow has truly made a difference in both my sleeping comfort and my daytime overall neck & shoulder wellness. Thank you, Serta!

I've been looking at new mattresses and pillows for months now. I ended up buying a neck massaging pillow on Amazon because I was so sore...then something called a dog bone pillow also on Amazon...and finally bought this on impulse at Sam's. I had some of the Z by Malouf latex pillows in my shopping cart, but hadn't gotten around to buying them yet. I might never need to. This pillow is wonderful. I only wish I had picked it up before I bought the dog bone and neck massager.
I've had memory foam pillows before, but none have been as comfortable to me. This works much better for my neck, even though it's not contoured like my other memory foam pillow.
I liked this pillow so much, I'm now seriously considering the Serta Gel Memory Foam 10" mattress.

Bought one yesterday. Definitely needs to be aired out due to the new 'smell' it comes with.
Pro: 1) comfortable enough and does the job 2) good value for the price you pay (it isnt as good as the Tempur foam pillows but Tempur is 4 times the cost so you do save with something of decent quality). 3) Gel side of the pillow retains the cool (temperature) as manufacturer claims
Cons: 1) Foam side does not cool your head down as manufacturer claims. After a couple of minutes you do feel the warmth in the pillow where you head lays but it doesnt become uncomfortably enough to prevent you from falling asleep 2) Slightly low. For men with broad shoulders, sleeping on your side will definitely render this product uselessly low and I wouldnt recommend you buying it. For narrower shouldered persons, it is quite perfect. FYI My shoulder is 6.5 inches from base of neck to shoulder-end. This should be an indication if this pillow is going to be too low for you. It fits perfectly to my shoulder gap when sleeping on my side and perfectly enough when I slept on my stomach.

I bought this pillow recently and I love it! I previously had a Sleep Innovations Classic style pillow for a few years and thought that I was happy with it. Now I realize just how hot my head was getting at night. I would wake up with a sweaty neck and head, but I thought it was just my own hot body temperature. My only wish is that I would have tried this one out before our 110 degree summer. It is a little thinner than my previous pillow and I thought it might hurt my neck, but it worked out great. If I had to guess, I've never seen it in person, but the Sleep Innovations Classic Gel Pillow is probably a little thicker than this one based on my previous pillow experience. I sleep a little on my stomach but mainly on my side. It doesn't provide very good support on it's own for sitting up to watch TV, but I've finally found a more effective use for my old memory foam pillow. If you get the least bit hot, don't buy anything other than the gel based pillows!
UPDATE: For those in search of a "fatter" memory foam pillow with gel, check out Dreamfinity's version. I ran across it at SAM"S and bought it on impulse hoping for a fatter pillow. Thank goodness I did! I can even use this one to support my back while watching TV. I think it's gel sheet technology is actually a little bit cooler than the SERTA, but it hasn't been cold in the winter either. It measures 24in(L)x16in(W)x6in(H). It says it's sold by comfort revolution.
So glad I decided to order this! The color is so vibrant and perfect, the poppy flower designs and decorative pillows are gorgeous! I have a queen pillowtop mattress but ordered a king only because of some other reviews saying the appropriate size comforters barely covered their pillowtop bed. I believe a queen would have been a pefect fit, but I'm happy with the king as well. The colors in the picture are spot on as well, what you see is what you get and it's beautiful!
