Madison Park Amherst 7 Piece Comforter Set

Good comforter with the colors that we were looking for. There were quite a few strings/threads that were loose but nothing that could't be cut or damaged the comforter. I think it runs a little small as we have a King and ordered the Cal King which fits perfectly. So we are very glad that I ordered the wrong size ;-)

Contrary to prior reviews, I found the comforter to be exactly what I expected. However, I have a full, so the size was not an issue. The gray is more a silver, the midtone is inbetween fuschia and purple, and the dark purple is a deep shade of royal purple. I like the pleats, but would note that each one has a seem, so it has a little more texture than the picture might lead one to believe. In appearance is it slightly more quilted than pleated.

After days/months of searching, I ran across this set and it had all that I wanted. The colors are good and not too loud. It it a nice combination of modern, stylish, inviting, and calming. The only concern I have is the stitching started to come apart after a few days. But a simple fix to cut the strings and there was no unraveling. I have not washed yet and I'm a little worried about the threading, but we'll see. Overall, I am very satisfied.
