Skyrest Travel Pillow - A15973

I took a trip out of the country a year ago and bought this out of sheer curiosity. When it arrived, I was using it while resting at home on my sofa, it was so comfortable! You have to be somewhat comfortable in your own skin to use it on the airplane, as it is definitely odd-looking: you will get some strange stares and it's best to have a good sense of humor about it. But it made those long flights bearable, and I slept very nicely. I'm leaving this week for the same trip as a year ago, and am very glad I have my Skyrest pillow.

On another review somewhere (the one that convinced me to buy it originally) I saw something like "As long as you can ignore the laughing and staring of the other passengers, you will sleep like a baby." It's true! They ended up jealous...after seeing the quality sleep I was getting.

I purchased this pillow before an overseas flight. My intention was actually to use it as an ottoman under my feet and legs when sleeping. My legs are just short enough that they usually don't rest comfortably on the floor of the plane ~~ the seat edge cuts into the backs of my legs. Fortunately, I had a window seat, so I was able to partially inflate the pillow, fill the floor space in front of me, and with my legs nicely supported sleep more comfortably. I did not try it in the position pictured, as I have neck problems and can't turn my head like that. It seems sturdy construction. I will use it on future flights, and I think that because of its size, when partially inflated to various degrees it has other possibilities as a pillow, lumbar support, etc. (will do some imaginative experimentation) ~~ whereas other smaller inflatables are pretty much usable only as designed.

This product does exactly what it promises. And, it is quite comfortable. However, it seems to be designed for Coach class. The space between the passenger seat and the seat in front of you is too far in First Class to comfortably lean into the pillow if it rests against the seat in front. You could put it in your lap...but, then you are very conscious of stablizing it to keep it snug against your body.

Hotel Collection "Primaloft Density" Medium Pillow, Standard/Queen

This is my favorite pillow. I have owned it for a few weeks now. Prior to Primaloft, my favorite pillow was a down pillow. I bought a ridiculous number of pillows looking for one that was "just right" because I prefer to sleep on only one pillow. This Hotel Collection medium standard/queen pillow has ended my search for the right pillow. I am actually a side sleeper, but am petite in height. Many firm pillows are just too firm for me. This medium pillow is everything I have wished for. It fluffs up easily and keeps its shape. It is adjustable to a degree--you can shift the Primaloft around to your liking. It is both soft and supportive. My head does not come too close to the mattress, but it's not at an uncomfortable angle, either. It comes with a zippered case, so care for the pillow is simplified. You need to wash the pillow only when you wish, but can wash the case every time you do laundry, keeping the pillow fresh and clean. I love the pillow so much, that I can honestly say that at long last I feel that I have found a pillow that seems practically custom-made for me. This is not a pillow for people who enjoy super-firm pillows or Primaloft pillows that are overstuffed. I would also not recommend the pillow for stomach sleepers, since it offers a good deal of support. However, those looking for both support and comfort will be hard pressed to find a better pillow anywhere. Yes, the pillow is pricey. Put this on your wishlist and keep coming back to it if you don't want to pay over $100 for it. If you can afford it and don't want to wait, I don't think you can go wrong buying it at its full retail price. Every few weeks it is offered for a very reasonable price, and it is better than anything else you can find in that price range. In my opinion, it is honestly the best pillow that you can find in any price range, and I will not buy another non-Primaloft pillow again.

We bought two of these pillows and they lost their shape in two weeks & were pretty much flat as boards after a month. Completely worthless & useless pillows, especially for the price. They were conveniently useless right around the 30-day mark so the seller refused to give us a refund or replace the pillows. Don't waste your money.

I normally don't provide a product review after purchasing online merchandise but the extreme disappointment I experienced with this purchase motivated me to send feedback so that other consumers can avoid the mistake I made. The quality of the set looks like the type of bedding you would expect to find in a one-star motel. The picture displayed gives the impression the comforter will drape over the mattress but it barely covers it. The comforter has little to no stuffing and could easily be mistaken for a flat sheet; and the decorative pillows resemble a junior high school home economics project. I don't feel this product deserved even one star but at least one is required to complete the review. I will seriously think long and hard before purchasing a bedding set from Amazon in the future.

Yes, the comforter drapes over both sides but I expected the red pattern to go to the edge of the bed, it doesn't and it gives the impression that it's ill fitting.

When I first got it I had reservations. The pillows (we got two), are a bit shorter so those who like to lean forward and rest their heads that way will be disappointed. However the rest is great. The material is soft and comfortable on the skin. The pillows themselves are very soft. They have a button so you can attach them to things while traveling. The cover comes off easily for washing and the insides are encased (unlike some pillows I owned) so there is no mess or worry about the pillow deforming after a wash. Does not push your head forward, so it is very good for that. True, you can't use with headset, but on long trips (when you sleep), headsets get really hot and uncomfortable, so I use ear plugs instead and save space on my carry on.

Bought this because the concept seemed to make sense (the back is flat and the side pieces fit on either side of your head), and because the price was right. Well, I guess you get what you pay for. Very poor quality. The seams are sharp and the material is uncomfortable. Standard inflation valve which is hard to close while not letting air out. In retrospect, not sure about the concept either . Impossible to use while wearing headphones (Bose QC15). On the positive side, it folds really small.

When I first got the pillow, I hated it. It was too light, too firm, and too different.

But after a couple of nights, of forcing myself to sleep on it, I really started to love it. The half-circle shape of the bottom of it is AWESOME! It cradles your head in such a way that it really helps support your neck, and was very comfortable to sleep on either my back or side.

At first, I hated how firm the pillow was, but once I got used to it, now I hate soft, squishy pillows, that don't give any support.

The only thing I didn't like about the pillow is the raised part at the top. I wish it were more like a wedge, to really tilt the head back, and keep the airways more open.

Honestly, I have no idea if it helped my snoring any. (I normally sleep alone, and only bought the pillow because a friend of mine was staying with me and complained of my snoring.)

I really did like this pillow, and miss using it. Unfortunately, after only about 3-4 months of use, it is squished down, flatter than a pancake. I don't know what happened! It's not like I was driving over it with a truck or anything.

So I probably won't buy this particular pillow again, since I can't afford to replace my pillow every 2 months, but I sure do miss it.

I got this pillow for my husband, who snores like a freight train, and has tried everything, including mouth pieces. From the very first night he slept with it, his snoring has subsided great product.

I bought this product as an alternative to traditional and memory foam mattress toppers because my husband doesn't like the heat that they retain. I was also looking for natural latex foam as I was concerned that synthetic/natural mixes would be less durable or more likely to retain heat and indeed, this topper does not retain any heat at all.

Initially, the topper took some getting used to it does not seem that soft and it feels quite "wobbly" when you first lie down on it. However, I've noticed that I am sleeping better through the night and most importantly, I am not getting any aches and pains from pressure points.

That said, there are a couple of reasons why I didn't give this product 5 stars:

1. there was a tear in the foam when I unpackaged it. However, because it is in a corner, I don't think that the tear will get worse.

2. unlike memory foam, which dampens the movements in bed, the topper seems to amplify the slightest movement that my husband and I make. Every time one of us moves or turns in bed, the entire topper "jiggles" and it actually makes my husband dizzy. However, this is affecting him more than it affects me.

This product is a great purchase for the price and overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This mattress topper is nothing short of wonderful. I can sleep on my side and my hip or shoulder does not go numb. I can sleep on my back or my stomach and feel completely supported no backache. It has the right amount of softness and support. I've had nothing but blissful sleep since purchasing this.

After opening the package and removing it from the tightly sealed plastic the topper did expand considerably and required about 5 days of airing out before the latex smell dissipated enough for use. It is bulky and heavy a two person job to move it for a queen size topper. The edges of the topper are square, not rounded like my mattress, and hung over at the corners but a mattress pad cover snugged the corners right down. It isn't necessary to buy a separate cover for this topper, a fitted sheet or mattress pad is all that is needed. The topper is thick enough to make a real difference, and depending on the depth of your mattress, you may have to buy new sheets to accommodate the added thickness.

This topper does not retain heat like a memory foam mattress pad does, it doesn't jiggle noticeably on our Beautyrest mattress. It did come with two dark smudges and there were some flaking perforations, which is normal for an organic, natural product. Neither of these things have any effect on the performance of the topper. It will take years to find out how durable it is, but for now I am very satisfied with this topper.

This topper felt the best. Offers good support and are fairly inexpensive. I found similar toppers at twice the price except the one in the store had a zipper cover. I could use my regular fitted sheet to cover it. My research showed that these toppers are all natural while many others in the market have some chemical latex added. Though I felt some rubber smell to begin with, it is all gone in couple of days. In couple of months I plan to buy for my guest bedroom. Their customer service is also nice and they ship pretty fast.

I purchased this topper for my mom after she said her new mattress wasn't soft enough (the show room bed was, to her, softer than the same model delivered). Before I purchased this product, I spent about three hours on the internet researching memory foam vs. natural latex toppers. It arrived quickly, was in excellent condition, and it had no odor. It was more than large enough for her queen size bed. After sleeping on it she said she loves it, she gives it rave reviews, and she could not be happier with the exceeding level of comfort she receives from sleeping on this topper; and my mom is not an easy customer to please.

My First Toddler Memory Foam Pillow with Matching Pillow Case

I bought this pillow for my 16mo old daughter. We never bought a pillow for my 3yr old son until he moved to a bed but my daughter has some drainage issues and tends to get a lot of colds so we figured it might help.

It is a little firm but a great size for her convertable crib. It takes up about 1/3 of the standard crib mattress width so there is plenty of room around her to not use it. She still doesn't really use it but I don't think that has anything to do with the pillow. She certainly plays with it enough just when she goes to sleep she still likes to just lie flat.

I did lop one star off because the 'matching' pillowcase matches the pillow not the pink velour pillow case it shows in the picture. So you get one colored pillow case and one natural pillow case with a woven texture instead of the fluffy velour. My kids, at least, think that means a totally different pillow which means it's really not useful.

I think the product would be better if it had two matching cases or just the one and a reduced price so someone could buy the matching case. Maybe a little nitpicky of me but 5 stars should be hard to beat and with the extra firmness and the spare pillow case not being very useful I can't give it a 5. I would recommend it though.

One last note is that this is probably firm enough that it can be used as a 'step' by a kid ready to climb out of their crib. I'm at least a few months away from worrying about that but other people may be a little closer to the point of no return.

My son's daycare requested I send him with a pillow a few months shy of this 2nd birthday. They said many others had them and it really helped with the constant cold induced congestion that goes around. Given that the pillow was going to be for daycare, I wanted something that was totally washable. I couldn't find one that got decent reviews, but saw that this item came with a completely zipped, waterproof pillow cover. This pillow is great. My son enjoys it, it helps with his congestion at school, and I feel safe knowing it gets completely cleaned every weekend.

We noticed our 2.5 year old daughter using a stuff animal as a pillow so I ordered her this a few weeks ago.

It was more money than I wanted to spend but it is perfect and totally worth the money.

Sure, you can get a $5 pillow the same size at target but that one is lumpy and has no pillow case. And good luck trying to find a pillow case for that size!

This one is nice and firm which allows it to stay in place on the bed. The pillow case is the same material as her pottery barn kids chamois sheet and she loves it.

NeckBone Chiropractic Pillow by Original Bones, Tan

Seems to me that there are lots of variations when it comes to the amount of stuffing that is in these pillows. The one I received is PERFECT for my neck problem. This pillow does have a zipper so stuffing can be removed or added if need be. How long the zipper will last is questionable, it's not a very sturdy one. But that shouldn't be a problem once the pillow's firmness is optimized.

What I like about this shape is that it doesn't wrap around my ears when I use it on the couch. It drives me crazy when a pillow does that and nearly suffocates me. Definitely recommended.

I do not know for sure, but I think this would be could in a car. (for sleeping, a "husk" neck roll works better for me.)

I have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which wreaks havoc with my neck. It's basically impossible for me to get comfortable. This pillow helps me get much closer than any other neck pillow I've tried.

Most pillows are quite firm and not adjustable. This one is nice and plushy-soft, and is unzippable so you can customize the stuffing however you want. I've taken out most of the stuffing from mine. My neck is really sensitive.
