I love the quilt and shams that I ordered -the colors are true to the online image, and I love the pattern. The quilt and shams are partially pieced together, but essentially it is a cheater quilt and is machine quilted together. But overall, the look and effect of it is what I was going for and I am completely pleased with the purchase. Packaged appropriately and shipped immediately, no problems with the transaction.

SUPREME Goose Down Pillow

These pillows are acceptable, but... I was looking for down, not feather pillows. The description says that these pillows are 95% Down, 5% feathers. The fact is, the opposite is true. The actual product label calls out 95% feathers / 5% down. The pillows will do, but are not what I was expecting. The price was not commensurate with down, so I should have known.

Perhaps the online product description should be corrected?

The pillows arrived in less than 4 days, so I was able to sleep on them last night ... great, restful sleep. The previous reviewer must have received defective ones ~ mine are everything I could have hoped for. The casing is strong and well-made, the stitching is flawless, & with 95% down & only 5% feathers, I'd be surprised to have much incidence of feathers making it through to the outside. The low price seals the deal ~ I paid considerably more for the down & feather pillows I had been using, and yet was frequently poked by quills.

These pillows aren't bad for the price I suppose. The feathers come out of them very easily, my whole bedroom seems to be covered in them.

When mine arrived one had a tear along an edge that was about 2 inches long, I just sewed it together since it didn't seem worthwhile to return it.

The two pillows I received had the tags clearly cut off of them, the "do not remove under penalty of law" ones, that made me a bit weary.

They smelled clean and didn't seem used or anything so I just accepted it as not having to remove the tags myself.

Overall I'd recommend you try something else, but for $25 each these aren't terrible.

Edit 12/30/2012:

I ended up throwing them away, they just kept leaking too many feathers. I notice that they now claim to be down pillows, when I bought them they were sold as feather pillows.

I removed one star because more than anything else they just made a mess. They're still not bad, but you better have some really thick pillow cases to keep the feathers in.

When I buy down, I expect a light fluffy pillow. These pillows are heavy and quite hard, and seem a little flat. I quess that's what I get for trying to get an amazing pillow over the internet.

The pillow stays fluffy for a while, but then the feathers start coming out and as they poke out, it makes it itchy to sleep on. I would probably spend a little more money and buy a better quality pillow.

I love my Duvet! I ordered it in Ivory and it is a nice warm tone delicate ivory/ "creamish". I was concerned that it would be too white or too cream but it goes great with all the other ivory details in our room. It is magically soft. I look forward to getting into my luxurious bed every night. There were many comments about wrinkles. I must say, I follow the manufactures washing instructions, remove them from the dryer (on low setting) promptly and I have had no problems. Also, I was concerned that the fabric would look too casual for the more traditional/refined decor in my room but the material is so fine it is an elegant addition.

After receiving my duvet, I wanted the sheets so badly but I couldn't justify $100 more for sheets. To my delight, a big rip was found in my sheets within a matter of weeks and I promptly ordered some sheets to go with it. I can't wait to replace all the sheets on my childrens beds and guest room with the same thing.

I bought the duvet from "sheetsnthings" and "royal Hotel" to compare, both were Identical in every way to me.I bought my sheets from "sheetsnthings" in ivory as well and they matched perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend a set of "bed bands" for the sheets. They are so soft they will slide off the mattress all the time.

Sleep Studio Sleep Joy® Memory Foam Contour Pillows, Set of 2

I had a feeling "memory" foam pillows were going to be classified in two categories: Tempurpedic and "other". Almost all non Tempurpedic pillows I've felt have felt just like normal foam. But I have a Sleep Innovations/Novaform mattress with a layer of memory foam, and that layer of memory foam is high quality, almost Tempurpedic quality. Knowing that, I was hoping other companies would also have the higher quality memory foam. Of course there was a big warning sign in that the Novaform Memory Foam pillows also feel like normal foam.

Anyways, I saw this product and was impressed by the price. On sale, it's about 25% of the price of the Tempurpedic AND the "retail" price is the price of a Tempurpedic so I figured I would give it a try.

Well, don't believe the "original" price. The "original" price is a little more than a Tempurpedic but it's definitely not even close to Tempurpedic quality. The pillows aren't bad, but if you're expecting a pillow like a Tempurpedic, you're going to be disappointed. Go to any store that sells pillows and feel a non Tempurpedic pillow in the $30 range. That's basically what it feels like. Then imagine it being quite firm (as someone said) but I think it'll get softer as you use it more. I was kind of put off by how firm it was at first, but over the night, it got more comfortable. I can see some people not liking the firmness though.

The price is good, and the quality looks pretty good. I had no problems with any odor. In fact it didn't smell much even straight out of the package.

I can't say that I have a problem sleeping. Whenever I feel like it, I put on C-Span on the TV or an old Columbo episode and I'm in the world of dreams in 10 minutes or less (thank you C-Span, thank you Lt. Columbo). I do have a problem with my neck and my spine they sometimes hurt when I wake up and I do not always feel fully rested in the morning.

Well... to make one boring story shorter, I received this pillow pair last night and I immediately put it to good use. I woke up this morning well rested and pain-free, as far as my neck and my back are concerned? Coincidence? It's hard to tell but, I WILL revisit this review the moment it is apparent that it was not this pillow that made the difference.

I will summarize below my Sleep Studio experience. Just keep in mind that sleeping is, of course, on of the more intimate/personal aspects of our life and, therefore, my own experience may be the complete opposite of someone else's.

It does NOT smell, as far as I can tell. I tend to be sensitive to fragrances and use all-natural soap and allergy-free laundry detergent which makes me believe that I would have detected any unusual odors.

It is firm but it is not rock-hard. My wife bought me a new pillow a couple of months ago which I call 'the brick'. On a scale of 1 to 10, if 'the brick' was an 8, this pillow would be a 4.

It is not very large but the size is adequate for one person I am 6'2" and, even though the pillow 'appeared' a bit small before I used it, the size ceased to matter the moment I closed my eyes.

My rating is a 5-star because I haven't felt so rested in the morning in quite a while and yesterday was a VERY stressful day for me.

2 nights later, my rating remains 'excellent'. I wake up better rested than I used to. One note I can't use it to support my back while reading in bed. I need a couple of traditional pillows for that.

I bought these two pillows hoping that they would be more comfortable than the memory pillows we have now. They were not. For me, with cervical arthritis, the pillows were too hard. They appear to be well made, but just not right for us.

I recently bought the Sleep Studio Memory Foam Contour Pillow 2-pack as a gift for my sister and wanted to post a warning for those expecting "memory foam" quality. 2 years ago, I had purchased for myself a memory foam contour pillow 2-pack from Kohl's on a great sale at 2 for $49.99. The quality of those pillows are amazing and I cannot say enough good things about them and the great nights of sleep I've gotten with them. I thought that given the economic turmoil, perhaps these Sleep Studio pillows were at an even a better deal than I had previously found & took a chance at buying these for $36.33 for 2 pillows. The product I received was MUCH lighter weight than my other memory foam pillows and it was very clear to me there was very little elasticity and memory to the foam. It was about the quality of those egg crate foam mattress pads that were so popular in the 80's. I layed on these and they feel much stiffer and not near as comfortable as mine. If you're expecting memory foam and not just regular foam, I'd suggest you keep looking. I went ahead & gave the gift to my sister but have not heard any negative or positive comments from regarding these as this was their first "foam" pillow experience so far.

Martha Stewart Carved Dahlia (Silver) Quilted Standard Sham

I have not actually received the sham in the mail yet, but I do have the quilt I purchased from Macy's (this is a close out product -originally $220 and I got it for $87). The quilt is nice and smooth. Its a very high quality fabric. The color is a cool grey with a metallic. It could be described as silver but I think silver is far shinier than this is. This is definitely not over kill on shine. I think it adds a nice air of sophistication. The floral pattern is sewn into the fabric so there are no raises. The fabric is silky and smooth. It feels very nice against my skin. I have not washed it yet so I can not speak about its durability but out of the packaging I believe it will last a substantial amount of time.
