1200 THREAD COUNT SOLID 4 PCS FULL SIZE DEEP POCKET BEDDING SHEET SET, RED

Looked at the color samples before I bought this set. Wanted deep pocket (check), microfiber (check) full size (on the big side, but they are "deep pocket" check) sheet set for an 8" futon mattress. Fabric is very soft, smooth and I like that I won't have to wash these a dozen times before they feel soft to the touch. So A+++ on the first points.

My only complaint is the color! This RED isn't even in the Scarlet Red family. It's ORANGE. Luckily, I can get away with this color because of the other things going on in the room dark wood furniture, Blk/Wht cushioned Poang chair, grey carpet so the orange actually works, strangely enough. I just wish the color had been the deeper red tone shown in the photograph (apparently, the aft pillows are shams, not pillow cases and the sheets are the lighter tone on the reverse side of the comforter).

All in all very happy with the quality, but Daytrex should reconsider renaming this color SUNSET, not RED.

These 1500 thread count pillow cases are extremely soft and are so nice to sleep on. The only thing I noticed is the Sage color doesn't match exactly to the actual 1500 thread count sheet sage set that I ordered. These cases were just extras for our other pillows on the bed that we sleep with, but they are just as soft as the sheet set! Sleeping on a cloud sums it up completely! :)

Dreamaway Waterproof Mattress Protector

I give this three stars not because of the quality, but because of the fit. I ordered the full size for my son's bed, and was disappointed that it did not fit. (Didn't even come close to fitting). I had to exchange for a queen, and that fits my FULL size mattress like a glove.

I would suggest save yourself the time and order the queen if you have a full bed

After opening the bag and seeing the volume, I was quite concerned that my fitted sheet would still fit over my mattress, but it actually fits better. It's much easier to make my bed now that I don't have to tuck in the fitted sheet along the sides of my bed. I am quite fond of that.

The fit of the protector itself is quite snug and the material/elastic on the sides is much higher quality than any other I've owned. I had to tug quite hard and never once did I think I would come close to ripping it.

There are two things I'm not so crazy about, but they are minor issues. First, washing is not a problem in my regular size machine, but drying is time consuming. I would suggest only washing this when it can be dried outside in the sun all day. There is one corner of the protector that seems to have more stuffing than the others. It took two drying cycles and hanging in the sun for four hours for that section to dry sufficiently. (I followed the directions on the care tag to stop the dryer and reposition the protector for even drying.) The other issue is that every time you turn in bed, it's a little noisy. But unless you are a very light sleeper like me, this should not affect your decision to purchase.

All in all, this is a nice quality mattress protector that adds a nice bit of poofiness to your bed.

The Pros

It's cheap

It's thicker, so there's a nice bit of cushion

it is waterproof, though I cleaned up the spill after a couple minutes (didn't let it soak through)

The Cons

It doesn't fit super deep mattress, it barely fit ours which is 17in (yes I know it says 15 but it's hard to find sheets that fit ours that isn't pricey)

It slides a bit after you put sheets on it, not horribly so, but noticeably

It's hotter than our previous mattress pad (though that one was thinner, although both were waterproof)

Bottom line, if you need a cheap waterproof mattress pad that has a bit of cushion to it I'd get it. I haven't left a stain on there past a couple minutes, and I haven't washed it yet, I will update when I do.

Update Oct 2012:

It washed fine, but it's much, hotter than my last mattress pad and sometimes moves with us in the middle of the night if it gets really hot. I think it'll be perfect for winter and fall, but for summer I'll be sticking with my thinner one.

This works perfect for my 2 year old in full blown potty training mode. It's smooth on the mattess without stretching too far, water absorbent, and washes well. So far, so good.

Soft, padded, and much better than the Serta one I paid much more for. It washes very well and doesn't make the lovely crinkly sounds of other waterproof mattress protector. Am getting them for all of the beds my 3 year old inserts himself in to.

Makura Buckwheat Hull Pillow

The product description claims that this pillow is 100% organic. However, the product box makes no mention that any part of it is organic. In fact since this product was made in China it was required to be fumigated before it entered the US market. The one I ordered reeked of chemicals. Definately NOT organic.

Also, the product description claims that the case is durable natural cotton lining. However it is actually a very thin polyester lining that does not appear durable at all.

I returned this pillow since it did not match the product description.

"Pillow size is 14" by 21"" This is a complete lie the pillow is 12" by 15". It is very small like a throw pillow.

"One pillow case included" Another lie. There is no pillow case. Good luck finding one for this tiny pillow.

This is a low quality made in china item that is worth nothing close to $15. If I had known I wouldn't pay $5.

I studied the many many buckwheat pillows offered for sale & read the very mixed reviews. Very glad I ordered this one. I have used only buckwheat pillows for about 15 years & wanted an extra one to keep in our motorhome. This is the lowest price I've paid yet only $12.95 total (no tax, free shipping) ordered on Saturday & received on Tuesday. If you're already a buckwheat-convert, don't be afraid to buy this one!! The actual size, measuring the seams is 14 x 19", which makes it about 12 x 17 x 2"deep. I use a standard pillow case & insert the pillow cross-wise, then fold the case in half. Works great. For those who haven't tried buckwheat yet, the key is to mold it to whatever shape suits you, don't just plunk your head down & expect the pillow to do the rest. When sleeping on my back, I make a deeper depression for the back of my head & a bigger ridge at the bottom to fully support my neck. When sleeping on my side, it's pretty much the same except I just reach under my head & make a little depression for my ear. This type of pillow gives you great support & will pretty much stay however you mold it.

The pillow hulls shed dirt. When I opened the box, it was covered in this dirty powder, from inside the pillow. The buckwheat hulls are not cleaned well enough. You need a pillow protector and your pillowcase with this one, and will need to wash them frequently, because this one is still leaving dirty powder daily on the protector and case.

The biggest problem with these inflatable type neck braces is that the vibration from the airplane gets transmitted through them and can actually sound louder. Obviously from the price this isn't a real high end neck rest. Some other reviewers had trouble blowing it up, but the problem is you have to squeeze the inflation tube slightly at the base because it has a little check valve. Same is true to deflate it. It is just like filling a beach ball.

Bought 3 sets for my family trip to Barcelona. Everyone loved how well the product added comfort to the long flight. The product was priced very well and I would suggest it to anyone traveling overnight by plane as well as long distance motor travel.

This item was nice. The pillow was different from the one in the picture. I like that you can inflate it because it makes it easy for travel. I haven't tried other pillows but I like this one. It wasn't super comfortable but I felt like it helped with my posture and kepted my neck from getting all tweaked.

I will be getting another one since I dropped it at the airport.

so far these items seem to be great. i plan to use them on my trip to europe in a few months. so, so far i have not used them on an airplane yet. but i use the sleep mask quite often and it is very comfortable, blocks all the light, and i basically forget that i have it on. the neck pillow is fairly easy to inflate, just a moment or two.

Stork Craft Hoop Glider & Ottoman

I finally purchased a glider to use with the new baby. After going to a couple stores and taking a look at the 200-300 and even 400 dollar ones we decided to go with this basic glider to save money for christmas and other necessities.

So far I have had it assembled 2 weeks and use it many times during the day to nurse and read books. The bottom cushion is a bit hard but honestly this glider is well worth the money if you are on a budget don't feel bad about getting this one over the more expensive ones. It is pretty and does the job just fine.

When it arrived there was a huge rip in the box and the outer corner of the glider was exposed. Thankfully it was packed with foam around the corners and did not sustain any damage.

Assembly was quite easy and the glider bottom comes assembled, the ottoman is completely assembled. So it was 8 screws I believe, to assemble this and my DH had it done in about 20 minutes.

It has a nice warm finish and should match well with other cherry furniture. The cushions are a sandy beige color and are attractive.

I'd recommend this as a nice glider for someone looking to save $$.

Update March 12, 2009 Still satisfied with the purchase, has maintained its quality and gets a lot of use.

Update May 22, 2010 Now a nursing/reading chair. Frequently used and in nice shape. Looking into getting a better cushion set.

This is my video review for the Storkcraft Hoop Glider and Ottoman set in cherry finish. It is a comfy glider with a smooth gliding motion. We will be using it a lot when our baby comes along around the end of January!

we have had this glider for 6 months now. for the first four months it was great! glided well and was very comfortable. but then we started to experience the notorious squeak that everyone here is talking about. it is loud and impossible to get rid of for long term. I tried the spray silicone, grease, WD-40, wax, tightening the joints, etc. nothing fixed it. Then the back part started to pop really loud with each rock back and forth. I felt that maybe part of the issue is I am a big man, 240 lbs. so I stopped sitting in it and only had my wife sit in it (120 lbs).

I called Stork and they informed me that the limited warranty will only cover a maximum of 50% of the parts of the chair so I had to choose to either replace the back or replace the rocking base. I chose to fix the rocking base and it took about 5 weeks to arrive (they told me it would take that long so I won't hold it against them even though it was a long time to wait). I got the new base and only had my 120 lbs wife sit in it and it worked like a charm...for one week. then the squeaking came back again. once again I tried all the lubes you can imagine to stop the squeaking but it only subsided for a few days. I called stock and they told me I had already used the full coverage of my warranty and that was the end of my extended service.

I'm disappointed in this glider and I am in the hunt for a better one to rock our little one to sleep. I recommend that you look somewhere else besides Stork Craft for your glider needs.

I was a little hesitant to get this glider/ottoman because of some of the reviews, but I decided to go for it anyways. I am pleased with my purchase. My husband put it together fairly easily and I've been using it every day for the last 3 weeks as a place to feed and rock my newborn to sleep. The seat cushion, though thin, is comfortable enough and I don't feel the need to supplement the cushioning, however, I can see that I may need to replace or supplement the seat cushioning within 6 months to a year, because the cushion is already starting to lose its shape. One of my main concerns for choosing a glider was I am only 4'11" and I need a glider where I don't feel like I'm a kid sitting in a "grown up's chair". The size of this glider fits me well. My husband is 6' and he uses the glider too and it fits him well also. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star instead of 5 stars is because of the seat cushion.

This rocker looks so much nicer than it actually is. Very easy to assemble, and the cherry wood is nice. But the cushions are terrible. The seat cushion, after one day, already feels flat. On day two, it's developed a squeak. I am not happy with purchase at all.

Product arrived from the seller well packaged, and sealed in a plastic bag inside the box. The picture does not do this cushion justice. The tapestry front is very rich in appearance and well detailed. The back is a medium-heavy weight cotton or cotton blend twill. The seams are very well constructed, with no loose threads showing. The cushion is also surprisingly firm. For those who are interested the cushion measures (17 or 18" X 12"). I look forward to many years of service from this and it is a very nice addition to the living room.

I don't know what kind of pillows everyone else who is reviewing got, but my Iso Cool pillow does exactly what it says it will. I bought mine from JC Penny and came on Amazon to see if they sold them to get another. The pillow I've been using for a year is cold to the touch on the side with the cool pad. Maybe everyone else has been using the wrong side of the pillow? Every time I touch this pillow it's cold to the touch. I woke up, no lie, 10 minutes ago (sitting here typing bedhead and all) and it's nearly freezing cold. Maybe it doesn't work for everyone, maybe my room is a cool temperature (73 degrees) and it pulls from that, or maybe it matters what pillow cases you use. All I know is this pillow does exactly what it's supposed to for me and is still fluffy and in shape (though it is a thinner pillow, it's still fluffy enough for my liking). I wanted to put my 2 cents in as a lover since there are so many haters.

Terrible product--I was so disappointed the pillow doesn't work at all towards keeping me cool--I had to return it. Again so disappointed I am constantly looking for a cooling pillow and nothing works so far including the ISO COOL pillow.

I bought two pillows, one for me and one for my husband. They work okay. I do not feel my head getting as sweaty as it used to. They are for back sleepers and I happen to sleep on my back as well as my side. This pillow does not seem to have enough fill in it for me. I find myself keeping my arm underneath my pillow while I sleep. I am not dissatisfied however, I would not buy one again.

It's a very cute pillow and was shipped/delivered/received quickly, so no problems there. But the color is quite different than what's pictured. It's more of a LIME GREEN, ranging from "light-lime" to a bit "darker-lime". Not bad, just not what's shown. And, maybe it's just me, but it's smaller than I *expected* it to look. The measurements given are accurate, but as they're from from "tip of the lip" to the very "tip of the tail", the little "body" itself is only about 12" X 8". (My bad!) I'd still recommend it, if you don't mind the different shade of green and aren't expecting something "larger." Hope that makes sense!

I purchased this set for a new queen sized bed..I ordered the king for extra room and it's perfect. The quality is good and it appears the same as in the photo. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a cozy, country feel. The colors are soft and muted. All in all an excellent value.

Quilt looks like the photo and is reversible just as beautiful on that side as well has stripes and is floral also. Sewn very well and will last a long time. Worth the money.

Ordered from Amazon, so ... Of course I received this quilt, two pillow shams, and two bonus accent pillows in remarkably short time. Exactly as described and love the way the shams and pillows tie making them extremely easy to remove and launder and have that "special feeling". The colors muted after the first wash, exactly as I had hoped giving the "look" I was striving for. The fit is great! The quilt's size is generous. It drapes over to the dust ruffle. Size consistant after washing, too. I only wish the dust ruffle shown was available, as it matches one of the accent pillows.

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made!

After reading reviews, I was hesitant, I actually wavered for months.

It's super-well made, washes well (no shrinkage), it is more of a gold-yellow rather than an ivory or beige background, but all that does it make the other colors stand out without making them seem garish. They still stay within an antique vintage muted and subdued look.

Not being able to get the bedskirt pictured was a total downside, because I think it's gorgeous, but I ended up doing a deep burgundy with everything pillow cases, drapery and bedskirt. It actually makes the room seem more Victorian and tones things down even more (for the man in your life).

When my husband first saw it in the bag (and even on the bed, before I bought all my burgundy) you could see the "really, woman what are you thinking" look. When the room was done and pulled together, I actually got a compliment.

The quilt is a great weight, so far it's only been used during the winter and paired with a light blanket (Tucson, AZ) it's perfect.

I love it, and when this one dies, I may have a back up in storage!

This pillow is comfortable BUT if you are long waisted there isn't enough pillow to offer support between your legs while you sleep. After a couple weeks' use, where the two pillows meet to form the head rest would not stay fluffed. I ended up giving this to my 7 year old son to sleep with he LOVES it! Really makes him feel secure while he sleeps.

The color of the pillow case is pleasant, washes easily, and adequately protects the pillow. It's worth the inexpensive tag, but should have come with the pillow I ordered instead of being a separate purchase.

Contour Products Ortho Fiber Pillow

I'm not one to write product reviews, but I wanted others to know how much this pillow has helped my sore neck. I have some disc issues and thought I'd try this pillow, which was cheaper than others with more ratings. I feel better after only a few nights sleep! It took some getting used to (I was sleeping on two very squishy pillows) but it's been worth it. I suggest giving the pillow at least a week before thinking it doesn't work. Also, I started out with a squishy pillow on top of it, then after a night, went to just the pillow. Better than taking nighttime pain relief to sleep! :)

The concept is a good one, but I, too, have to add another pillow underneath this one because this pillow is too shallow and so, alone, doesn't serve its purpose. When placed on top of another pillow, it still is not quite right to align the spine as they say it does. It's better than the flat pillows, but needs more height to really support the neck.

It took me about a week before I could really get comfortable on this pillow. Not sure what the raised part in the middle is supposed to do. Just seems to stick up too much. One edge of the pillow is higher than the other, so you have the option of which one works best for you. I like the lower side. It doesn't make my neck feel wrenched. I have a lot of neck issues, so have tried all kinds of pillows. This seems to be better than any others I've tried. I've had it for a couple of months now & I don't know that it necessarily helps my neck, but I haven't been waking up with extra neck pains like I did when using the other pillows. I haven't slept a night without it now.
