Taymor Metal Tissue Box Holder

On August 4 Amazon was running this tissue holder for $5.82 with super saver shipping. The workmanship is excellent; there are no sharp or unfinished edges. It is heavy and certainly worth that price and does hold the square tissue boxes just fine. There is not very much information on the box it came in but does include that it is made in China and has the manufacturer's website. There is no implied warranty with this product. We are in the process of converting our kitchen to stainless steel, so I know firsthand that if you use any kind of abrasive on this box, it will be permanently scratched and the finish destroyed. Typically a wet cloth followed by a towel is all that is needed.

The price for this tissue cover is cheaper than similar items in department stores -although still a bit high for a simple box. However, I had a hard time finding one with this finish (polished brass), so I risked ordering this by mail.

The box arrived pretty quickly, was packed well, and feels pleasantly solid. The finish (so far) is a perfect match to my shiny brass; so I am pretty pleased with the purchase.

Science of Sleep Memory Foam Head Cradle Pillow

I have tried many pillows for my sensitive neck. This one is the best one I've found. Whether I sleep on my back with my head in the middle or on my side on the sides of the cradle, this pillow is comfortable. I have almost no problem with the nerves in my arms going to sleep because the pillow supports my head high enough above my shoulders.

I've tried all kinds of foam pillows before and hated them, but this one is different. I believe the key is there is a flat section going into the cradle for when I sleep on my back, which keeps my neck in a more normal position. It also has a reasonable height difference between the cradle and the sides. Many foam pillows have a hefty arch before dipping into the center sloped area.

The reason I gave this pillow 4 stars is that the fleece cover keeps my head warm even with a cotton pillowcase over it. Great in winter, but a bit warm in warmer weather. I solved this problem, by exchanging the fleece cover for a cotton pillow cover. I'll get out the fleece again come winter. All in all, for me it was worth the price.

So something about the way this is designed just doesn't quite work. I decided there's no enough other padding in there, and there's not enough memory foam to make up for it. So you first lay down and it's like "this is alright" then as your head sinks further it stops feeling like you have a pillow at all. It's very solid. I realize this is just personal preference, but it's also not what the pillow seemed to be described as.

I purchased this pillow to replace two current pillows, one down alternative, and one memory foam. I assumed that the memory foam layer would be much more substantial than it is. The memory foam layer is less than .5cm, and really just feels like a heavy fabric under the pillow case. The gel fiber compresses too easily, and the pillow flattens under the weight of my head. I would rate this pillow lower than a much cheaper store bought down alternative pillow.

"Egyptian Cotton 1200 Thread Count Luxury Solid Sheet Set" I got these sheets and I'll tell you it's a scam. I based my purchase off of the other reviews on Amazon. First of all there is no way these sheets are 1200ct because they are PAPER THIN (as in you can see right through them). They are also scratchy. The sheets came with a label that looked as if it was printed in some back alley. My biggest disappointment is not in the sheets but in the people who wrote the other reviews; I think the reviews are fakes like the sheets. I'm not being over critical; I just telling you these sheets are a lie, this is a scam, and you will hate them.

I have had 850 and 1000 thread count sheets before and these seemed a little rough at first. But after a few washings they are very rough worse then some cheap 250 thread count sheets I have in the RV! I would keep looking foe another brand, very disappointed with these sheets.

There is no such thing as as 1200 thread count. When they are using this ploy they are counting the "ply" in the yarn (the twisted threads that make up the yarn) and counting the thread in both directions (warp and weft). Honest manufacturers count only one direction (150 is excellent), fairly honest manufacturers count both directions (ie., 300 count) and scam artists count everything they can. 250 2-ply yarn is then advertised as 1000 thread count. NOT the industry standard.

Higher thread count does not necessarily mean more comfort. They can get kind of stiff, bulky and wrinkle and can be very hot in the summer. Get the sheet you like, not what the advertisers are telling you you should like.

I purchased these sheets AFTER purchasing 1200 Thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets from a different online company three years ago. I was so blown away by the first set of sheets I bought that I wanted another set and found these. I got them delivered and was excited and removed them from the packaging and was concerned because they felt very grainy like 300 count sheets you get at the discount super stores.. I read the instructions for washing but am very familiar with care from my previous set. Finished washing and took them out of the dryer and again was very concerned with the softness. This sofa is smaller than shown in the picure. The fabric tore through a small bracelet when I was unpacking. The shape allows no comfort in the legs and feet when there are more than two people sitting on it.

NCAA South Carolina Fighting Gamecocks Bedding Set

Ordering went well, my fiancé received his comforter within 3 wks using shipitapo website( he's in Afghanistan).He recieved the wrong conforter. For the price, I don't think you can beat it. I bought a vinyl one in the beginning and tossed it after one day because of the awful smell. It wasn't until much research later that I learn how toxic the off gassing from vinyl was. Then I found this which was much more moderately priced than the cotton or polyester covers. We had some bedbugs and my first reaction was to toss all the mattresses in the house. Then I read that it wasn't necessary since bedbugs hide in the cracks in floor/wall and will reinfect any new mattress. So then I vacuumed the entire room/mattress and launder all the sheets/pillow cases/stuff animals in HOT water then 40 mins in HIGH HEAT, then I silicone caulked the entire bottom baseboards in the room and any cracks or holes I saw. Then I covered all the mattresses with the evolon. It's been a week and so far so good. The mattress encasings don't make much sound and doesn't feel hot. It feels rough when I first opened it but after I put it on it was fine. I do suggest that if you have the newer mattresses with a mattress top that you get a deeper fit, like 12-15 inches instead of 9. I have an non-mattress top mattress and it was a snug fit.

Pillow cases are a little stiffer but that may be because I have tempurpedic pillows and they don't fill out the entire standard pillow case. It says that it can be washed and that the more you wash it, the softer it gets and is still effective against bedbugs so I will try it.

I wanted an allergen proof and dust mite/bed bug covering for my pillow--this is great quality for the price and I'm very happy with this covering. I am happy with this pillow insert. Very full and fluffy. The only problem I had is I was advised to go up to the next size from the cover I wanted to fill. I should have ordered the same size. It fills it so full that it is too firm. Not comfortable. I would order this again only in the right size.

As some other customers noted this is by no means a 20x20 pillow insert. I measured it and it is just 18x18. I am actually happy with the quality of the materials and the fact that it is not a soft insert, which is great to use in a deep sofa; my complain is that Amazon is selling an item that is NOT as advertised. For some reason, these are much better than the 26x26 version by the same company (which I also reviewed). The filling is evenly filled out and soft, and they fit our 18x18 pillows cases well (I learned that you should buy the filling a size up so they fill out the cases). I also prefer having a down alternative for couch pillows, so they are more supportive and bounce right back after you lean on them.

I got the Chocolate color and it is almost exactly the color in the picture. The stripes are elegant and pretty, buttons are big and haven't come undone, it was fairly easy to put on the duvet. I put it on by myself, it would have been easier with two but doable with one person. All in all, we love it and would buy it again!

Organic Buckwheat Pillow - Japanese Size (14" x 20")

Years ago I was given a buckwheat pillow of the sort that appeared in infomercials. It was as large as a regular pillow but the buckwheat rustled noisily and was not particularly comfortable. Recently I visited Japan and had the opportunity to use authentic Japanese buckwheat pillows that were much higher quality, comfortable, and *quiet.* I searched many websites to find this buckwheat pillow, which is essentially identical to the pillows in Japan and the best value I came across during my search.

The chief benefits of buckwheat pillows are good support and excellent breathability. The buckwheat husks in this pillow are small enough to feel smooth and densely packed enough to provide thicker support than feather pillows. The pillow conforms to the shape of your head or can be easily smoothed out by hand to the desired shape. There is no odor.

Moisture and heat dissipate very well through the pillow. I did not feel the need to flip the pillow over during the night and I awoke to a dry pillow unlike my experience with feather and polyester-filled pillows. Good riddance to waking up to a clammy pillow.

The size is markedly smaller than standard pillows but works well when I position my face near the edge of the pillow. Assuming there are other pillows on your bed to fill the decorative sham(s), the only disadvantage of the size is having to put a pillow case on sideways and folding it over. In Japan, they covered just the top side of the pillow with a cotton cloth that had ties to hold it in place. (Picture an apron with strings on both top and bottom.)

The directions call for occasionally washing the pillow covering. This will require emptying the loose buckwheat into some kind of container, which I don't look forward to, but ultimately, will make the pillow a better value than conventional pillows that eventually stain and are never the same after laundering.

We've used buckwheat hull pillows for many years, but ours had finally worn out and needed replaced. I ordered two of these pillows from beans72dotcom and could not be more pleased!

The outer shell is very high quality: thick, durable muslin fabric with fine stitchwork and a good zipper. It is obvious that these pillows were painstakingly made and will last for many years.

The buckwheat hulls also seem to be of high quality: little to no broken pieces, no stems or debris, and nice and clean. Also, the seller offers additional plain buckwheat hulls for sale if/when the hulls compact over time (this is called polishing, it is explained in detail in the flyer that came with the pillows). This shouldn't be necessary for quite awhile, buckwheat hulls are very durable and we have had the mass-marketed and produced pillows we own for almost ten years.

These are very comfortable pillows and if you are in the market for a buckwheat hull pillow, I'm sure you will be very satisfied with this purchase.

I think that this is the best pillow, and I've tried quite a few. I don't know about the other buckwheat pillows but this one seems to be the best of the bunch. The buckwheat hulls comfortably mold to the shape that your head, neck and/or shoulders compress them into, while still providing great support. If you have issues with your neck and shoulders after sleeping, as I do but less so as I sleep with this pillow, then I highly recommend this pillow to you, though it may not be quite as useful for those of you who switch positions often or are otherwise physically restless before sleep or during the night (as it takes a few minutes for it the hulls to settle into position). Shame on me, I learned my lesson, I knew then and I know now that "You get what you pay for". When you buy cheap you get cheap...only worse when I think about it, can you imagine laying your face on a dirty, FUMIGATED pillow and breathing whatever it was fumigated with for 8 hours per night?

I sleep on my side or stomach. This pillow is THE BEST side-sleeping pillow I've ever used. It's firm enough to keep your neck aligned and your nose from getting smooshed into the pillow, yet squishy enough that you can move the buckwheat "beans" around to your liking. I can't fall asleep on my back, but laying on it makes it seem like it would be a SUPERB pillow for back sleepers too. I don't recommend it for stomach sleepers because it's too firm. Also, for snorers: this pillow GREATLY reduced my snoring when I sleep on my side, thus I get a better night's rest (and so does my spouse). Americans and others who use down or soft pillows may think this is kind of weird the first night, but after you sleep on it you'll want to bring it with you everywhere you travel. Lastly: please take note of the size of the pillow. I was surprised it was so small. However, since you sleep better and toss less, the size of the pillow turns out to be just right.
