I own this in the old lavender color. It is amazing! I use it daily, especially now in the winter months. Perfect for freezing New England weather. This blanket is very soft and has two sides, which I think allows different amounts of air through because one felt cooler to me than the other. Nevertheless it just wasn't big enough for my purposes. It covered me completely, but when I went to move, it would need to be re-adjusted. If you're going to be using it a lot or for a long periods of time (i.e. the whole evening) I would suggest you either get the NAP snuggie or do like I did and get the king sized (or queen sized) NAP lite blanket. Both sides have the shorter-pile material but its very warm and luxurious feeling and its a great replacement for our comforter! The downside is that the king size only comes in cream or beige instead of the other colors. The queen size comes in pink/blue/cream/beige.

Also, it took about a full week to get here from when I placed the order so if you want one now, just pick one up from your nearest Brookstone, you'll have to pay the sales tax either way if you're in a state where they have a store. Hope this helps someone.

The NeckPillow by Tempur-Pedic Medium 20" x 12" x 4"

I purchased my pillow from Brookstone over 9 years ago. I needed it for the neck support. My pillow has held up for all these years with no problem. The material in this pillow works with the heat from your body to mold to the shape of your body. If you like to sleep on a cold pillow, this pillow is not for you. I recently purchased a new tempur-pedic thinking that the new pillow will have more support as this material over time degrades and will not bounce back into shape as quickly.

I found that the new pillows are not as firm as mine was when I first purchased it. I had to return the pillow since my 9-year-old pillow is firmer than the new ones they have out under the same name. Remember if you do not like a HOT pillow this will not work for you, as the heat from your body will make it feel very warm. I sleep with a fan on me all night anyway so this does not effect me but family members have tried to use the pillow to try it out and found the pillow got to hot for them to use.

Overall I love my pillow and panic if I happen to forget it when I go out of town. If you have neck problems (mine are from an accident) this pillow can certainly help.

One major complaint is that the pillow case covers they sell (very expensive) do NOT fit the pillow. It is not designed to fit the pillow even though they advertise that it is a custom pillow cover. A better solution is to just use a regular pillowcase or a pillow sham. Brookstone should be ashamed to sell these pillow covers as they do NOT fit they are at least 5 inches longer than the pillow which causes you to constantly adjust the pillow case so as not to get wrinkles on your face or to prevent lumps under your head while sleeping.

This is not the first contour pillow I have used and am quite happy with the comfort and durability of this product, but there is a bit of a problem with this pillow when you first get it. The smell is awful. Really awful. It took almost a month of airing it before the pillow was useable. Once "seasoned" I have no complaints about this product and in fact think it is superior to any other pillow for retaining its shape after repeated use.

I've been sleeping on orthopedic neck pillows for about 12 years now.

I had to change my pillow and I purchased the Tempurpedic contour neck pillow. The first time I "tested" it (not slept on it) I thought it was great. Firm, great support.

Then I actually slept on it. I hated it. It squishes down to about one inch from the heat of your body. I actually need it to hold its shape.

I got rid of it and bought the Double Core Select Pillow Orthopedic Pillow. This pillow doesn't lose its shape and you can change the cores to adjust the firmness.

The tempurpedic is a waste of money.

Unfortunately this pillow was a waste of money for me. I had two issues which made it unusable:

First, the smell never entirely dissipated and caused allergy problems for my husband. They claim that these are hypo-allergenic, but this was not the case for us.

Second, this actually CAUSED me to develop neck pain. I've used cheaper foam pillows in the past with no problem, but something about this one wreaked havoc on my neck. I stopped using the pillow after about a month and the pain was gone in a week!

This was an extremely disappointing experience, made even more so by Tempur-Pedic's refusal to accept returns and lack of concern with the issues caused.

I have purchased two of these pillows over the last three years and here are my thoughts:

It works nicely (for me) when it is new. I even take it on trips.

It deteriorates quickly, about 12 months (the center of the pillow becomes permanently indented, thus providing little support except at the sides)

Customer service makes you jump through hoops to honor their warranty.

I am waiting for a replacement pillow from them as I write this (having sent the damaged pillow back).

If this one does the same thing, I will try something different (like the Double Core Select Orthopedic Pillow). It is way too expensive to work well for only one year!!!

Do not buy these. Go directly to Bloomingdales for the real thing. I own a complete set from Bloomingales. I ordered two pillowcase from this web site and they are rough to my skin after two washings. They are not fine cotton, or as heavy and it is easy to tell the difference. The thread count is probably accurate but they are not pima cotton. You get what you pay for simple.

I found these very big and fluffy like in the picture. I also can sleep at night now without all the allergy issues. I sleep longer and wake up without headaches and stuffy sinuses. I purchased 4 thinking I'd have to put two in a single pillowcase but not so. I have a visual ton of pillows now.

Only had them for a couple days so far but I am very picky when it comes to pillows I tend to roll around a lot and sleep on side/back/stomach whatever I feel like at the moment. So I tend to have trouble finding pillows that work no matter which way I lay. These are really great though. They are super plushy but still have a great amount of support. My initial impression of this pillow was that it was much softer than the one I had been sleeping on. I had a memory foam pillow from another manufacturer and was happy with it, but needed to give it back to my mom. I used the pillow first to take a Sunday afternoon nap and laid down about 1:30 and woke up at almost 5. I swear the pillow has magic nite nite dust on it or something. I never nap like that. Each night I have slept perfectly still and comfortable, using only this one pillow. This pillow combined with the memory foam mattress topper makes for the best sleep I think I have ever had short of being on a cruise (which is the best sleep you will ever have).

I was very disappointed in the quality of this pillow. It was very thin, not at all as it was pictured. I returned it immediately.

The set looked great at first but within two weeks the comforter was tearing in several spots and the material inside the comforter clumped up and was not very comfortable. I am keeping the pillow cases and decorative pillows, but I am definitely ordering a new comforter. I guess you get what you pay for.

VERY poorly made. We had it on our bed for only a week and it started to fall apart. The fabric around the seams came loose and can not be fixed. I will never buy another product like this. It was a complete waste of money. It was so pretty but fell apart after very little use. Cost was too much money for it to last only a week of being used the way it was created to use.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to give it less than a star rating. it isn't even worth the 1 star i gave it.

this set is lovely, the colour is just as in pic, I didn't give it a 5 because I find the filling material was a bit thin and it did not fit the bed, was just barely going over the sides but I am pleased with the look and feel of the fabric.

The color was not at all what the photo shows. Instead of the dark purple shown, it's more of a silvered lilac. They are silky and lovely quality for the price so I still kept them, but I was looking specifically for a dark purple set.

Madison Park Palisades 7 Piece Comforter Set

I purchased this bedding because its the only coral colored bedding out there that I could find. I went to multiple stores and looked online for several weeks before making what I thought was my final decision. I ordered the item and received it in a some-what timely manner, it was a few days later than expected. Upon opening the package, I noticed that it was definitely the right colors but a horrible horrible quality. I could have torn it apart by simply tugging on the seams, which were already torn on the tiny throw pillows to the point where the stuffing was coming out. Not only was it sewn very poorly, the material was so thin it felt as though it would be rags after one wash and would never have kept me warm. I was completely dissappointed in the product AND the only review available to me at the time of purchase which led on that this was a quality peice. Makes me wonder if the seller added the first and only review itself to mislead customers into falling for their product. It should have been made to last years for the ridiculous price of $175.00. I have found better and more quality bedding at Walmart. The disaster does not end here. In attempting to return the product, I realized that I must pay my own shipping. Because of the awkward shape and weight of the box, I paid $59.99 to ship the junk back to the seller. Not only am I back to my start point in searching for bedding, I am out sixty dollars for nothing. If nothing else, I learned my lessondo not purchase anything on Amazon that cannot be shipped directly from Amazon. If it is an outside seller, it means that Amazon has not agreed to approve their product or will not endorse it enough to offer Amazon's free return policy. I should have known. Never again.

My husband and I have a hard time agreeing on bedding for our room, so finding something we both liked was a challenge. When we finally found this comforter set, my parents ordered it for us as a gift. We received it, and although we do really like the colors and the pattern, the quality of the set is incredibly poor. Every accent stitch on the comforter had thread falling out. We took pictures and requested a return, and the vendor assured me that if we just replaced the comforter, the next one would not be poor quality. Well, they were wrong I think the second one we got was worse quality than the first. Because we liked the comforter color scheme so much, and we have such a hard time agreeing, we decided to keep it, clip off the threads, and just be sure to keep an eye on it. Unlike the previous reviewer though, when we requested a return, we did not have to pay return shipping. The vendor didn't even want the item back. So at least we weren't out that cost as well.

Skyrest Travel Pillow

This pillow changed plane travel for me. I am a travel agent and traveler. I simply cannot sleep with my neck vertical. I have to get my head side ways or I will just hover between sleep and wake. After years of restless travel and neck aches from trying to cram my head onto tray tables I found this pillow on line. Ok, I admit I felt a little silly when I pulled it out on the plane the first time but I arrived at my destination relatively well rested. Basically you can shove this thing into/on a variety of areas and angles and sort of get your weight on top of it with your neck supported in a horizontal position. If you are in a window seat you can also shove it in the crack and sort of "lie" on your side. If you are big or tall you may want to bring something else to put under it to lift it up a bit like a jacket or neck pillow. I can't say it will work for everybody but it really improved things for me. I tell a lot of my clients about it.

Like anything else having to do with sleeping comfort, whether or not you will like the Skyrest is a highly individual matter. If you usually sleep on your stomach, this product is probably the best you will find.

If you are tall (like me) put it on the tray table with an airline pillow on top and a blanket over that. You can also put it flat on your lap if you are shorter. You can underor over-inflate it to taste. And it inflates about 2/3 of the way just in the process of unfolding it. I have had success with it regardless of what the person in front of me does, as long as he/she doesn't change position frequently.

That said, it is a bit bulky when deflated. The sleeve on the front intended for your hands is only adequate if you have small hands and narrow shoulders. I would also guess that it might not be too comfortable if you are significantly overweight. Moreover, the surface is not very plush, so plan on using the airline's blanket over it. And it works best when its use is preceded by a glass of Merlot and two PM Tylenol.

However, I have used this product on multiple West Coast to Europe trips and it is the best option that I have found.

We have three Sky Rest pillows and recently used them on a trip to Europe. They were wonderful! On the way over, I used it on my tray table as a pillow and was easily able to sleep leaning forward. On our return flight, we had an exit row with no seats in front of us. We loved putting our feet up on the Sky Rest pillows as a sort of ottoman. My husband, who is 6'5" has never been so comfortable on an airplane.

Here's the issue--you lean on the pillow, the pillow is on the tray table, and the tray table is connected to the seat of the person in front of you.

So when you shift, they feel it. Leads to awkward social situations.

The construction of the product is good. When deflated, it is on the bulky side, though.

I bought mine a while ago, tried it a few times, and then put it away. Another issue is that this posture isn't really that comfortable, even if the seat in front of you is empty. In particular if the person in front doesn't have their seat reclined, you'll be pretty far forward.

I'm going to give this other product: "First Class Sleeper Travel Pillow" a try.

I've never been able to sleep on a plane until I got a Skyrest. All the u-shaped pillows I tried didn't work because my head falls forward as I start to fall asleep. Skyrest takes a little getting used to but if you experiment with different positions you will find one that works for you. It doesn't really matter about the person in front. If they move their seat back you can move yours back too. It can actually be better if you are wedged in tighter. The other advantage is that you can use it during a layover or, if you're lucky enough to get get a front row seat, you can put your feet up and sit way back in your seat and you have a virtual recliner.

Lush Decor Terra Shower Curtain

This shower curtain is very well made. I wasn't expecting much as the price was cheap. I was looking to do something different for the "boy's bathroom". I normally don't buy suggested items but I did buy the resin shower hooks and they match perfect. The length is perfect, quality of material is above average, the colors are a true chocolate and a subtle blue, like shown. The tiny squares are stitches, with a thread running from one to the next. Also the boxes are not straight up and down but are at a slight slant. It's not noticeable unless your're really looking at it. All and all I am very happy with my purchases and am considering switching shower curtains and getting them something else, then using this for my bathroom instead.

This is a very pretty shower curtain. I do wish it was a little thicker. It is very, very thin. If there is a light in your shower and you use a clear liner, you will be able to see in. The description does say it is made of faux silk, however. So, this is not totally unexpected. The colors are pretty. The tan section with the little embroidered squares is not sewn on quite straight. It is only noticeable if you are really looking, but slightly annoying. Overall, worth keeping though.

Travel Friends Frog Headrest

I got this after my kidlet got to be too big for the infant insert that came with our Chicco Keyfit 30 car seat. While I kept the neck piece in there longer, she was very uncomfortable and cried every time she'd go in because her head would always slump forward during car rides. With this adorable froggie friend (as we call it now), her head is cushioned both on the sides and to the back of the carrier so that it doesn't slump anymore. Babygirl now goes into the seat happily, falls asleep in there right away and also has a friend to play with when we're out in a restaurant. She doesn't really like her pacifier on the attachment (it's a felt strap with a velcro end so you can adjust it as long as needed to hold the paci) but she does chew on the end. Best part about this thing it's machine washable and stuffing doesn't clump after the wash/dry. Great purchase for the price especially.
