Southport Damask Stripe Bolster Pillow

I ordered this pillow for my Husband to go with our dark Tan couch. The description calls it Granite and the picture shows it to be Tan. We received a Green pillow. Since there is no Green offered I guess this is the Tan/Granite. If you are looking for a Tan pillow do not buy this one. He does like the size and style and we will be keeping it. I may have to make a suitable colored cover for it since the Green does not go well with the color of our Couch :o(

Pillow ok, it's a bit large for what in looking for also it does not hold its form that well and is not very firm for these reasons I am going to return it

The NeckPillow by Tempur-Pedic Medium 20" x 12" x 4"

I purchased my pillow from Brookstone over 9 years ago. I needed it for the neck support. My pillow has held up for all these years with no problem. The material in this pillow works with the heat from your body to mold to the shape of your body. If you like to sleep on a cold pillow, this pillow is not for you. I recently purchased a new tempur-pedic thinking that the new pillow will have more support as this material over time degrades and will not bounce back into shape as quickly.

I found that the new pillows are not as firm as mine was when I first purchased it. I had to return the pillow since my 9-year-old pillow is firmer than the new ones they have out under the same name. Remember if you do not like a HOT pillow this will not work for you, as the heat from your body will make it feel very warm. I sleep with a fan on me all night anyway so this does not effect me but family members have tried to use the pillow to try it out and found the pillow got to hot for them to use.

Overall I love my pillow and panic if I happen to forget it when I go out of town. If you have neck problems (mine are from an accident) this pillow can certainly help.

One major complaint is that the pillow case covers they sell (very expensive) do NOT fit the pillow. It is not designed to fit the pillow even though they advertise that it is a custom pillow cover. A better solution is to just use a regular pillowcase or a pillow sham. Brookstone should be ashamed to sell these pillow covers as they do NOT fit they are at least 5 inches longer than the pillow which causes you to constantly adjust the pillow case so as not to get wrinkles on your face or to prevent lumps under your head while sleeping.

This is not the first contour pillow I have used and am quite happy with the comfort and durability of this product, but there is a bit of a problem with this pillow when you first get it. The smell is awful. Really awful. It took almost a month of airing it before the pillow was useable. Once "seasoned" I have no complaints about this product and in fact think it is superior to any other pillow for retaining its shape after repeated use.

I've been sleeping on orthopedic neck pillows for about 12 years now.

I had to change my pillow and I purchased the Tempurpedic contour neck pillow. The first time I "tested" it (not slept on it) I thought it was great. Firm, great support.

Then I actually slept on it. I hated it. It squishes down to about one inch from the heat of your body. I actually need it to hold its shape.

I got rid of it and bought the Double Core Select Pillow Orthopedic Pillow. This pillow doesn't lose its shape and you can change the cores to adjust the firmness.

The tempurpedic is a waste of money.

Unfortunately this pillow was a waste of money for me. I had two issues which made it unusable:

First, the smell never entirely dissipated and caused allergy problems for my husband. They claim that these are hypo-allergenic, but this was not the case for us.

Second, this actually CAUSED me to develop neck pain. I've used cheaper foam pillows in the past with no problem, but something about this one wreaked havoc on my neck. I stopped using the pillow after about a month and the pain was gone in a week!

This was an extremely disappointing experience, made even more so by Tempur-Pedic's refusal to accept returns and lack of concern with the issues caused.

I have purchased two of these pillows over the last three years and here are my thoughts:

It works nicely (for me) when it is new. I even take it on trips.

It deteriorates quickly, about 12 months (the center of the pillow becomes permanently indented, thus providing little support except at the sides)

Customer service makes you jump through hoops to honor their warranty.

I am waiting for a replacement pillow from them as I write this (having sent the damaged pillow back).

If this one does the same thing, I will try something different (like the Double Core Select Orthopedic Pillow). It is way too expensive to work well for only one year!!!

We wanted a nice, simple quilt to compliment our new queen bed and this fits the bill perfectly. It is airy and pretty without being stuffy looking. I agree with the first reviewer that the quilt looks much better in real life. the print is a light grey-blue; the scalloped edge is continued all around the quilt; the quilt back is the print. the quilt and shams look lovely on the bed. They are well made out of quality material. The size is generous, and despite the label saying "line dry" I put it in the dryer on medium heat with no problem. Texture is smooth, more crisp than soft, but not a bit scratchy very pleasant on bare skin. I'm glad I got mine!

After using it for a month or so I like it even better every day I'm glad I got this. looks wonderful on the bed and after a couple of washings, it gets nice and soft.

It was just delivered today. Already washed in cold water and dried on low, and it's now on my bed. I'm so happy with my purchase, this quilt is so pretty and looks just beautiful on my bed. It really brightened up my room. Very soft, I love the color of the pattern to me it looks like a light blueberry color. The detail is incredible I just can't say enough good things about it. I bought a king size for my queen bed and think it's perfect, but I think I would have been happy with the queen too. My bedside lamp goes very well with it too. I cant wait to put some picture's on the walls and make it look complete.

Just received it and was very disappointed upon opening it. At first, I thought they sent me the wrong one. The coloring is nothing like the picture. I knew from reading other reviews that it was more of a pale blue/gray, but I thought there would be more of a contrast in colors. The picture shows a darker blue border running around the quilt about half way up..not there. The quality of the quilt seems to be good. Don't want to go through the bother of returning, so will keep it. I also would have been happier with the king size for my queen bed.

This was a beautiful bedspread. I sooooo wanted it to be white and blue, but it was off-white and blue. I returned it because the curtains next to the bed are pure white. I was pleased with the price on the pillow cases, I love to buy organic whenever possible, and was excited to receive them. They came packaged very well! They wash and dry perfectly fine, and I bought the blue. It was a lighter blue than expected but that is fine. I have to say, I disagree with other reviews saying they are soft. I like the look of them and the quality, but they are scratchy on my skin. Its not a pillowcase you can cozy up on. I like how they contrast with my dark brown pillowcases I have and so they look nice on the bed, but I use the pillow with the dark brown to sleep on and the organic blue ones underneath on my second pillow. My husband likes them just fine, but he has a scratchy beard so who knows if he can feel the scratchiness of the pillow case. Overall, the only reason I would buy them again is because the price and they are organic, but I would maybe try another brand to see if there are softer ones.

I only ordered the dark gray pillow cases. They came nicely packaged and washed and dried well.

At the time, no picture was available. The product detail and description did not indicate Window Pane pattern. I thought I would be getting plain dark gray pillow cases, as my gray sheet set has a small pattern already.

Kinda surprised about the pattern, but it is the same color basically and is nice. More interesting than plain dark gray covers anyway.

Now, online it says no picture available, but you can see some in the background anyway and can see the pattern. The dark gray actually looks purple-ish in the picture and does lean toward that side more than gray-gray. If that makes sense.

But they are very nice quality and I love that they are organic! Definitely will try the sheets in the future.

I am a huge fan of Magnolia Organics because the white dream sheet set with the windowpane print were my absolute favorite and most long lasting sheets in my house. I was concerned when I bought this sky blue set from the same collection and they felt a little scratchy. The pillowcases almost felt prickly the first couple of times I used them even with fabric softener. However, after about 3-4 washes and patience they finally softenened up, amazingly.

These are now our favorite sheets in the house. The light blue goes beautifully with almost all of our existing comforters and duvet covers, and they look classy and high quality. The color is so light and pretty I see it as a great sophisticated alternative to white.

It is also hard to find deep pocket sheets, and these I know will always fit like a dream. I wash and dry them no problem and they dont shrink. I appreciate that extra sets of matching pillowcases are available at a reasonable price because we use 4 pillows on the bed. The next time I need a set of sheets I will come back to this brand because I know they are a great fit and great quality.

Mine both came shipped in plastic with a fabric bag included. Im not a bit offended that it was packaged in plastic. You need that to protect them during shipping and to keep any moisture out.

For the record, i don't know how a higher than 300 thread count feels like, but i'm very pleased with these and are better than all my previous pillow cases. I bought these for a guest room where I often have children or friends with allergies sleeping. They are a little plastic/crinkly sounding but after you put on a pillowcase, it's not very noticeable. The fabric is smooth, similar to a fabric shower liner (not the obvious plastic kind but the more expensive fabric liner type). They are a snap to wash & dry and keep the pillow clean from kid drool. They are not luxurious; they are utilitarian. They do keep your pillows clean and seem to be good for allergy sufferers. They are definitely nicer than the obvious plastic type those are horrid.

These covers would be nice for traveling; easy to pack & easy on/off of hotel pillows. And could even do double duty as a laundry bag at the end of your trip.

Had to change my review after receiving two different sets of pillowcases from Amazon from this same listing. The second time I ordered these (only about a month later), the pillowcases were different and of a lesser quality. I don't know if the company changed their design or if there was some sort of packaging mix-up; as far as I can remember, the packaging was the same. Still seems a decent value for the inexpensive price.

These are the BEST waterproof pillow protectors I have ever found. They have a tight-weave outer fabric that is as nice as luxury pillow cases. I have 15 little doggie beds in the house and all of them are encased in these zippered protectors and covered with towels. If they get stains in them, they wash right out and continue to look like new. The place I bought them is constantly out, so now I'm buying online so I have a set to use when the other set is being laundered. For me, they are worth every penny!

I am very pleased with these pillow protectors especially the price! They fit nice on my pillows and appear to be well made. The description does not state that there are zippers so I was unsure if I would be happy with these but they do have zippers! I have not washed them yet but I think they will be fine.

I have very ad allergies. These pillow protectors are just what I need to get a good night sleep. I do not have to worry about having a asthma attack due to dust mites or dust within the pillows. I just recommend that you get new pillows before you put these on as the new pillows are free from most allergy causes and used pillowes may not be.

These covers were way to large for my standard pillows even though the description states that they are for standard pillows. They were also very stiff which makes them extremely uncomfortable to lay on. Although the price is right for what you get, I wish that I would have just paid more and bought some that were higher quality.

I actually saw this at a chiopractor's office and ordered it from Amazon, as it was priced lower. It gives a good support all the way up to your upper back, forcing the "S" shape on the spine. I usually use it when my back's a bit sore. Does well, whether driving/working at a desk. The only disappointment I found was, this particular model didn't have any velcro straps to tie it to a chair. I am not sure why they didn't add it. But over all, if you don't maintain good posture and are struggling, it's worth giving this product a shot.

I have been using cushions like this to ease back pain. This one is fine and gives me the support I need.

This bed in a bag is beyond beautiful! Very well made, so much more than I expected! The comforter is very very thick, and is very warm. One note, I thought the dark velvet trim was black when I looked at all the photos online of this set, but it is actually a deep dark purple. I have been wanting a purple set for my bedroom for a long time. Took a chance on this one and I love it! The weight, color and quality of work are all wonderful. After reading reviews of other toppers I was worried it wouldn't be wide enough for our king size mattress. It covers it edge to edge and may be only an inch short on the length, I'm happy with that. Topper arrived earlier than promised in good shape. It puffed up to it's full 4 inches in no time. We aired it in the basement on day one and the back porch in the sun on day two. Chemical smell seemed to be gone until we put it in the bedroom. It's been a week and we can still smell it. Not enough to keep us awake but we just don't like the odor, my husband thinks it smells like cigarettes. I just smell chemical odor. We bought it to cover a hard mattress and it certianly is more cushy but still feels firm. We can't say we have uninterupped sleep but you don't feel your partners movement as much. Four inches makes a big difference, feels like we have to climb into bed. With a broken rib it's hard to lift myself out of the bed topper but I do sleep easier on the topper than on the mattress only. We don't have one of the cheaper toppers so we can't compare,but this seems to be good quality. Grabbing by the edges to carry upstairs it felt solid with no tearing. After reading other topper reviews I expected a HUGE difference in our sleep comfort. It's better, but I don't know if it's $300.00+ better, that may be the rib though.

I bought the 4 inch 5.3 cloud 9 bedding foam with a mattress cover and pillow. The topper is really great, the mattress cover not what I expected and the pillow is shredded foam. I thought it would be a cover that had a zipper and encased the mattress...it doesn't and it just goes over it and it is loose. I would have skipped it had I known what it was. The pillow I'm not sure about yet. Not worth more than $10, since it was a packaged deal I'm not sure what I paid for it.

I suffer from CFIDS/FM and placed this on a waterbed with damaged baffles, (once waveless, one ambitious carpenter and a remodel later, now tsunami style). It's just great, cushioning without excessive pressure. I rest without having to turn quite so often. I worried that the thickness of the pad might allow me to get chilly since I wouldn't be right on the heated water mattress bladder. But it hasn't, I'm staying comfortable temperature wise. Also that tsunami effect is much less, an added benefit.
