I have tried many pillows for my sensitive neck. This one is the best one I've found. Whether I sleep on my back with my head in the middle or on my side on the sides of the cradle, this pillow is comfortable. I have almost no problem with the nerves in my arms going to sleep because the pillow supports my head high enough above my shoulders.I've tried all kinds of foam pillows before and hated them, but this one is different. I believe the key is there is a flat section going into the cradle for when I sleep on my back, which keeps my neck in a more normal position. It also has a reasonable height difference between the cradle and the sides. Many foam pillows have a hefty arch before dipping into the center sloped area.
The reason I gave this pillow 4 stars is that the fleece cover keeps my head warm even with a cotton pillowcase over it. Great in winter, but a bit warm in warmer weather. I solved this problem, by exchanging the fleece cover for a cotton pillow cover. I'll get out the fleece again come winter. All in all, for me it was worth the price.
