I was horrified when this pillow arrive flat as a pancake that had been rolled. Once we got it out of it's airtight packaging it took on a new life. It's really a great pillow. I bought it for my husband who has been through multiple pillows in the past few years without finding one he likes. His biggest problem with this pillow is that I take it from him. So... we will be purchasing another soon.

I have purchased several memory foam products through Amazon, without any problems, but this product is defective. It never inflated once it was removed from its wrappings, and the foam was broken into a number of hard pieces, like the foam had solidified, been compressed, and was destroyed in the process. The price seemed too good to be true, and now I know that it was too good to be true. Amazon should remove this product from their inventory.

I am returning this, very disappointing. It came in a tiny box rolled tightly. I've had it laid out for 4 days and it is still completely flat and very stiff.

I bought two of these and I just wasted my money because we can't use either one. They stink and when we put our head on the pillow it is too high up because the pillow is too fat. It is the most uncomfortable pillow I ever bought and also the most expensive.

I have two discs in my neck that give me trouble. I saw this pillow and thought I'd give it a try. It has really helped my symptoms. I ended up buying one for all four members of my household. Regular pillows go flat too fast-and I've bought some just as expensive as this. This pillow provides support for my head and neck so that if I lay on my back or my side my head is supported. After working about four months at my new job, I began to realize my leather office chair had gone completely flat. It was like I was sitting on a plank of plywood all day. Ouch! To make matters worse I have sciatic problems that kick up every now and again, so the fact that I was subjecting my tooshie to such rough seating accomidations just wasn't smart.

I began scouring Amazon for some sort of seating cushion that would be effective but wasn't a huge pillow/donut etc. Then I came across the listing for this item and saw it was made from memory foam. I sleep on memory foam (Those that do know it's benefits!), so I decided to go with it.

When it first arrived I was suprised at it's weight. Even though the description says it's 2lbs I wasn't really expecting a cushion to weigh that much. The foam is dense, two inches as described. The cover is of nice quality. Chances are people won't even really notice it on your chair if it's black, if that's even something to be concerned about in the first place.

Here's the most valuable information I think I can give for reviewing this item:

The first time you sit on this thing it's not going to be what you expect. It's firm! Even too firm if your butt is already sore from your current situation. To be very honest I had my doubts and wasn't sure it was going to work for me. The night before I took it to work I was almost positive the thing would have to be thrown away or returned.

HOWEVER, once I reluctantly hauled it to work and actually sat on it for awhile, I gradually began to notice the lack of pressure on my tailbone, and really my whole butt in general lol. The longer you sit the more you sort of sink, and it's hard to notice that at first. In my opinion it's just like getting used to sleeping on memory foam, just sitting on it. It's not the easiest transition, but once you get used to it, it's difficult to go without. Even after the end of the first day I knew it was going to do the trick.

I've had this cushion for about 2 1/2 weeks now and I LOVE it. No pain from sitting at all, and it's design is perfect for my chair. I know it will probably have to be replaced later down the line, in maybe six months or so, but that's fine with me. The relief in my eyes is well worth it.

Please note that even though I've mentioned I sometimes have sciatic pains, I wouldn't expect this cushion to work for absolutely every person that bought it. I'm female, 26, and of average build. For a larger or fuller body build this cushion may or may not be what you need. Take note of the measurements. Go out and test out some memory foam products in a store if you've never used them before, and see if that kind of material might work for you. It did for me, and I couldn't be happier.

So yeah, kind of an extensive review I know, but I figure if there's anyone else out there that is dealing with the misery of evil office chairs like I was, I should do my part to help.

I have to sit at the computer for hours on end working on assignments and papers...tried the "Tush Cush Seat Cushion"....found it to be extremely uncomfortable and simply unuseable...was very sceptical of trying another seat cushion that promised much more than a weird hunk of foam could reasonably be expected to deliver...

buying the kensington was a leap of faith (and desperation) as it did not carry a single review of it on amazon at the time. the memory foam thing really molds to the shape of your butt...so some of the pressure is relieved off the pressure points and redistributed all over...i'm not sure of the science behind it but i can now sit longer (very much longer) at the computer in greater comfort...

I started a new job in March 2010, and bought this seat cushion for my office chair. I loved it, but by November it was flattened and no longer providing enough cushion. I am really disappointed because I can't keep replacing it once to twice a year, but it DOES work really well.

This memory foam cushion is great. Remember that memory foam isn't about being cozy, but is about distributing pressure to prolong comfort. It allows you to sit longer before you get sore compared to ordinary cushions or no cushion. You will still eventually get sore, but if you compare to ordinary cushions, you should last longer before you feel discomfort.

I especially like the non-slip aspect of this. I had used ordinary pillow cushions before and they always slid around and made my back sore as I slipped out of good back alignment and I felt I kept straightening it. With this, it stays exactly where you put it. It has a whole rubber bottom. To be fair, you could use non-slip drawer liner under your normal cushions. But this thing doesn't move, which is great. But it does seem to leave some residue on my chair after sitting on it for 2 months. I peeled it off to shoot the video. But I don't think it is anything to be concerned about.

It is big enough for large chairs. But probably will not fit small narrow chairs, as shown in the video. After 3 months of use, mine still works perfectly. It is tougher when it is newer, so give it a chance and don't judge it on its first use. I use it 1-2 hours every day, and sometimes longer on weekends, and it has not shown any sign of deteriorating. One reviewer mentioned theirs went flat after 6 months of constant use. Mine shows no sign of 3 months (but not used every hour of every day). I am happy with mine and would definitely buy another if I had to do it again.

I recently underwent hip surgery and needed extra support and cushioning to relieve the pressure while sitting in the car for long trips. This cushion fits well in the driver's seat and provides the right amount of cushion (the foam does not collapse) without being too hard. I was pleased with the results; while not pain free, I was certainly much better than would have been the case without the pad. Note, if using in an automobile: I am of just above average height and of average weight; if one is very tall and head clearance is already a concern, be aware that the cushion does raise one up in the seat just a bit. The seat cushion fits in the "bucket" portion of the car seat, that is, it does not cover the side portions of the car seat that typically "cup" the drivers thighs on the sides. Measure your vehicle seat for the best outcome.

Wrap Around Dust Ruffle

I ordered this dust ruffle in part of the good reviews it received, but was very disappointed when it finally arrived. Aside from the flimsiness of the fabric, my major gripe is the darned thing won't stay put on the bed -some part or another is always sliding up or down. Forget trying to make the bed. No amount of tucking seems to keep it in place.

It's on a standard queen bed with a rather thick mattress, but the depth of the mattress shouldn't matter. All in all, it looks better than a bare bed frame, but it's way too much work to keep it looking nice. Who needs a bed skirt that has a habit of wandering? Not me -I like my linens to stay where I put them.

I liked the idea of not having to lift the mattress to position the bed ruffle, but it doesn't work. Parts of the skirt ride up in between the box spring and mattress, leaving that part of the ruffle several inches off the ground. Other parts slide down on the box spring leaving the bottom dragging on the ground. It's impossible to keep the whole thing in place and equally level to the ground. I'm always tugging it down in places, or pushing it up in other places. I guess the idea is for the weight of the mattress to keep it in place, but it doesn't on my bed. Also, the material is thin and looks cheap. And it doesn't go around an entire full size bed, so you better have part of the bed against a wall. I wish I had sent it back during the 30-day return period.

Sheets are nice, soft! Seem to be good quality. My son has his ironman sheets, and is truly satisfied. Pillow case looks as shown. Bought this in queen size for $100 at Sams Club. After reading many reviews I was a little skeptical about this item since it is a gel foam which is usually more expensive, measured 2.5 inches which is half an inch more than more expensive toppers I had looked at, and the density was 4lb instead of the usual 3lb again on more expensive toppers. And the reviews I read stated that it was indeed 60 x 80 so it covered the entire mattress as opposed to many others that for some inexplicable reason make theirs an inch or two shorter and narrower than the actual mattress size. The only negative thing I found in the details was that it was made in China. But at such a low price I figured it was worth a try and would be simple enough to return if we didn't like it. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. After CAREFULLY cutting through the many layers of plastic wrap we unrolled the topper also very carefully because it starts out very tacky and tends to stick to itself. Left it on the bed for just under 4 hours and when I went back in it was completely expanded to a full 2.5 inches and completely covered the mattress. It also came with a mattress pad that seemed to be good quality with 100% cotton top and nice stretchy polyester sides that would fit most deep mattresses. Although my husband claims he noticed an odor as soon as he opened the box and that he could smell it every time he walked into the bedroom it did not seem to bother him at all. And as for me I didn't smell anything at all. I even put my face down to it before putting any bedding on it to see if I could detect an odor which seems to be a big complaint, but I did not smell anything ... and usually I am the one with a very sensitive nose! It was when I actually laid down on the mattress to go to bed that the first disappointment came. The mattress is very firm... not hard but firm.I am alost 300lbs and I didn't even sink down into this topper. I have fibromyalgia and have a lot of tender points and have difficult sleeping. I had slept on a memory foam mattress topper at my sister-in-laws several months back and it was wonderful. It hugged my body and relieved any pressure and I slept the best I had in years. I guess I was expecting something at least similar but this mattress is more firm than our 10 year old worn out pillow top mattress. So if you are looking for a nice cloud-like feel when you lay down this mattress is not for you. However if you have a really hard mattress and need just a little give but with good support this would be an ideal fit. I venture to say you could put this on the floor and sleep comfortably. it is a great value for the quality but just not what I was looking for so we returned it.

just wanted to let people know that this has been great for my herniated cervical disc (c5-c6) and i'd definitely recommend trying it. i'd tried about 6 or 7 pillows before this one, orthopedic and otherwise, and had just prior resorted to sleeping on a stuffed beaver (not the real kind, the toy kind) because it was the only thing that lessened the pain i woke with in the morning. this pillow has helped me get to a point where i am not in pain when i wake up at all. the cute little rosebuds don't hurt either...

I've slept on this for 2 nights and am NOT disappointed. A little back ground about 30 years ago, I was in a very bad car accident and have had to sleep on a cervical, cylindrical, pillow ever since. I have lost count how many I have bought, most were fine, some too hard or not enough support. Or were fine for a few months, then sank in the center, necessitating another purchase. But it was something that I HAD to have, or would wake up with a headache, if slept on a plain pillow without neck support. Now, since I just got this, I don't know how it will hold up, but will absolutely add to my review in about 6 months to let you know. But for now, it is wonderful! Not too hard or soft, for me. Everyone has their own 'ideal' support, this one is perfect for me. It came with a shaped pillowcase, with tiny blue rosebuds on it, I could care less about the pattern, but it's not 'loud' and won't clash with your linens. As long as I have the support and comfort I need, it doesn't matter to me and this is the best cervical pillow I have ever slept on. I am more than pleased with the pillow, and the price I have paid more for less. If you have a neck issue, I think your chance of finding comfort with this pillow, is very high. Oh, and forgot to say, I am a side sleeper that had rotator cuff surgery 6 months ago and have had a hard time getting comfortable on my side, this pillow has helped that a lot. I am able to sleep on that side again, with very little pain to the shoulder. Needless to say, it gets '5 stars' from me and I am tickled pink with it. Hope this helps you in your decision.

I really wanted this pillow to work & I thought it would due to the positive reviews. My neck seems to hurt less in the morning when I have something to support my neck while I sleep so I thought this would be perfect. I suffer from chronic neck pain from office work at a computer all day, poor posture, etc. The pillow was extremely comfortable which surprised me. Considering the shape I was a little concerned I wouldn't be able to get comfortable. Unfortunately, once morning arrived, my neck was killing me. I think I need firmer support. I'm (was) firm to my massages and chiropractor at least once a week until I started shopping for pillows. I must've picked like 5, this one being one of the 5. I was doubting a pillow will fix my neck/back problem. I used this in the last months of pregnancies and I love it! The only problem is that the parts that you use (between the legs, under your head) gets a little soft overtime, like any normal pillow. Also, when you want to turn to the other side in the middle of the night, you have to basically get up and flip yourself and the entire pillow over which is a pain since you're so huge...... Overall, I still recommend it for a preggy lady.. or not!

It makes dealing with the awkwardness of a growing belly much easier. It allows me to find a comfortable position in order to lay down and sleep. It's much easier to use than struggling with multiple pillows.

I've sworn by my Bucky pillow for about a decade, but over the past couple of years, I've been waking up with my ears hurting. I suppose that's an indication to replace the buckwheat. Before replacing it, I checked to see if there were something new and improved. The reviews for this pillow were very good and the price was great. I also liked the idea of a normal-sized pillow on my bed instead of the half-sized Bucky.

(Bonus: It arrived packed in paper in a huge box that my cats think is the greatest new bed.)

I expected a smell, but there was none.

I put my standard-size pillow case on it and it fits fine. I think it's meant for a queen case, but it fills the standard case just fine.

When I'm sleeping on my side, I want the pillow to hold my head up, but not poke my neck. That's what I liked about the Bucky--I could shape it to support just the right places and not touch others and it would stay that way. This pillow does what I want without me having to shape it. I lay my head on the gel side, and it's like a cloud, but with a lot of support. Sometimes I sleep on my stomach, and this seems to support my head just right for that, too. My neck and ears feel just fine in the morning.

I have arthritis in my neck so I buy a new pillow every few months. When I saw this pillow on Amazon I decided to try it since it was so reasonably priced and I had never tried the gel ones. Boy! It is excellent to sleep on. I sleep on my side and it has good body but is still soft. I like the fact you can alternate sides and get a little more firmness with the memory foam. Another plus was I have allergies to regular down, though I love the way they feel and this one feels like down. I would highly recommend this pillow.

9/27/11 UPDATE: The price really fluctuated on this product over the past year, but $20 seems about right, so I'm pushing it back up to five stars. I've been using the pillows for nearly a year now and they are still in great condition the memory foam has flattened a bit, but its still effective. I don't think I'll need to replace these for at least another year, although at this price, I'm a little tempted to. With the foam-less alternative only $4 cheaper, I'd say price is a non-issue when comparing the two, considering it'll last you a couple years.

3/4/11 UPDATE: It seems they've corrected the title to accurately describe the gel microfibers, but the price has gotten a little too steep so I'll dock a star. The pillow without the memory foam is less than half the price, which seems a bit odd when you consider there are pillows that are completely made of memory foam (albeit cheaply made!) which sell for $20. However, after a bit of use (and some abuse) pillows are still going strong and have flattened very little if at all.

I just got this pillow and I'm fairly impressed with the product, especially at the price I had bought it ($14). At this price, I would still say it's a decent buy. The memory foam layer, even though it's rather thin, not any more than an inch, still adds a nice touch to the pillow, and you can definitely tell which side its on. When you lie down on it you can really feel your head sink comfortably in to the pillow.

I don't know why this is labeled gel-filled pillow, which seems to deceive a person into thinking that the pillow itself is filled with some gel-like substance, when really it's the microfibers that are filled with gel. The microfibers themselves are actually a better alternative to down feathers. I only learned that from reading the description.

It also comes with it's own little travelling case.

Finding that the price has significantly increased, I'd like to recommend this pillow:

We ordered two of the Bitter colored floor pillows and absolutely love them. We have guests over weekly and never have enough chairs/couches/etc so the floor pillows were a great addition. All of our guests who have used these have only had wonderful things to say about them. They don't go flat after sitting on them for an hour or so which is great. They're also pretty big which is great because adults fit on them well. They have a handle on the side which makes them easy to pick up and move around. The fabric is soft (reminds me of corduroy) and is very easy to clean (we have a 21mo old who loves to sit/play on these. We're planning on getting two more. I highly recommend!

We are hosting Christmas this year and I was worried we would run out of seating space. These cushions were thick enough to accomodate adult weights and look nice so they fit the bill. I'll probably also use them on the dining room chairs as boosters for my granddaughters so I sprayed them with Scotch Guard to be on the safe side. I just wish they were a little bit bigger, say 24", and more olive in color. These were more green than what I would call olive, but I suppose that can be subjective.

These cushions are thick, plush and very well made. They can be used either indoor or outdoor. The fabric appears to be quite sturdy, as well.

Imho A floor pillow needs to be firm, this pillow could have used a bit more firmness. Three stars just cause of the good price/quality ratio.

I purchased this set for a new queen sized bed..I ordered the king for extra room and it's perfect. The quality is good and it appears the same as in the photo. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a cozy, country feel. The colors are soft and muted. All in all an excellent value.

Quilt looks like the photo and is reversible just as beautiful on that side as well has stripes and is floral also. Sewn very well and will last a long time. Worth the money.

Ordered from Amazon, so ... Of course I received this quilt, two pillow shams, and two bonus accent pillows in remarkably short time. Exactly as described and love the way the shams and pillows tie making them extremely easy to remove and launder and have that "special feeling". The colors muted after the first wash, exactly as I had hoped giving the "look" I was striving for. The fit is great! The quilt's size is generous. It drapes over to the dust ruffle. Size consistant after washing, too. I only wish the dust ruffle shown was available, as it matches one of the accent pillows.

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made!

After reading reviews, I was hesitant, I actually wavered for months.

It's super-well made, washes well (no shrinkage), it is more of a gold-yellow rather than an ivory or beige background, but all that does it make the other colors stand out without making them seem garish. They still stay within an antique vintage muted and subdued look.

Not being able to get the bedskirt pictured was a total downside, because I think it's gorgeous, but I ended up doing a deep burgundy with everything pillow cases, drapery and bedskirt. It actually makes the room seem more Victorian and tones things down even more (for the man in your life).

When my husband first saw it in the bag (and even on the bed, before I bought all my burgundy) you could see the "really, woman what are you thinking" look. When the room was done and pulled together, I actually got a compliment.

The quilt is a great weight, so far it's only been used during the winter and paired with a light blanket (Tucson, AZ) it's perfect.

I love it, and when this one dies, I may have a back up in storage!

Aller Ease Dust Mite Barrier Full Protective Mattress Cover - Encasing

It's a pocket mattress protector, so you have to have to slip the entire mattress into it and zip it up. A tremendous hassle, especially the larger youre mattress, and it's prone to rip in the process. It says it can accomodate up to 12" deep, but my 6" (futon) mattress just about fills it. It's not quiet, krinkles like rice paper and just as sturdy. So I wonder how truthful it is about being really hypoallergenic and waterproof....?

After an exhaustive search for a mattress protector that is safe (non-vinyl), hypoallergenic, and waterproof, I came across this particular brand and was elated to find it for pretty cheap at a local big box store. I was also happy to see that it is machine washable and can be put in the dryer on the "air fluff" or "air dry setting." After purchasing any type of linens or sheets, I always wash before use. I was very displeased to find that no matter how many times I put these mattress covers through the spin cycle in my washing machine, the drops of moisture would not go away. Finally, my husband and I tried to dab the mattress covers with towels (a difficult task in and of itself) but to no avail. After that didn't work, we tried putting the mattress covers in the dryer on the air fluff setting for 30 minutes. Again, still soaking wet and left water pooled in the bottom of the dryer. Needless to say, these are going right back to the store! I think I will try the Luna brand mattress protector that Amazon advertises here for $40.

We purchased this product for my son's apartment bed. Encasing the mattress was not actually difficult, though I would highly suggest two people performing this rather than one. I have purchased other mattress envelopes--not Aller-ease-but was not able to get the size I needed.

This protector is shoddy, flimsy, and not worth your while or money. After encasing the mattress, we discovered the side "seam" was split and the zipper was apart. My son managed to get the zipper tracked, but the torn seam renders this product less than optimally protective.

It might be waterproof if a couple drops were sprinkled on it, but I would certainly hate to trust it to protect more than that!

Run away from the Aller-ease section if you are planning to purchase this product!

I bought this for my daughter, who is a Sigma Kappa sister. She loved it! There are many sorority websites to buy a zillion things. She had never seen this one before as it came from Bunnies and Bows...not a commonly used site for sorority merchandise. She will most likely be the only girl in her chapter with this pillowcase, and she is thrilled! The pillowcase itself is a little stiff, but once washed and dryed with fabric softener it is comfortable. It is also a large pillowcase, so she has decided to use it as a pillow sham for decoration.
