The fill in these pillows has the consistency and weight of down, the "karate chop" at the top for shaping works perfectly. You would never know the difference by look or feel. The only things they don't have that down does are the high price, allergens and annoying feathers escaping the pillow casing and pokes from feather quills--and who would miss any of that?
I bought these to replace the throw pillows on my couch. They exceeded my expectations and are perfect. They feel great.
