I gave this same review for the Naturepedic organic cotton pillow.

It seems to me that pillows are so subjective that they're almost impossible to rate. I'm giving five stars because I do like the pillow but everyone's preference is different when it comes to firm/soft/thick/flat. But the main point of my review is to share my thoughts on this organic cotton pillow by OrganicTextiles v. the Naturepedic organic cotton pillow. I purchased both, in standard sizes, from Amazon.

The OrganicTextiles pillow is about ten dollars cheaper, which is nice. It's significantly fluffier and softer than the Naturepedic. You can almost feel the tufts of cotton inside it, whereas the Naturepedic pillow feels like one large piece of cotton. I would say that this pillow feels a little more like a standard regular (non-organic non-cotton) pillow.

The Naturepedic pillow is firmer and denser, especially denser. It's not fluffy and though it does flatten out a little it stays pretty thick because of the density of the cotton. It took me a couple of nights to get used to it, but I find it quite comfortable now.

I guess I'm not that picky about pillows because I like both just fine, even though they feel quite different! Keeping both and will probably order more.

This pillow has been great to use. I like my pillow more on the soft end and it has "squished" down to my liking. I love how there is no chemical smell at all -cause duh! it's organic, but seriously my sniffer is very attune to chemicals and I love my organic pillow!

I got these pillows for my children to protect them from harmful chemicals in polyester derived fabrics. The fibers inside wad up and make for a lumpy, flat pillow that is firm. Attempts to fluff the pillows do not work to spread the filling out more consistently. I probably would not buy them again.
