these 'appear' to be open-ended well they are not they have a zipper at the bottom. I 'searched' for non-zippered and these were the ones that resulted from the search. I do NOT want a zippered body pillow case I can get those with a zipper at any store but have not been able to find one without the zipper. The product might have been a good material (no idea since I packaged it back up immediately. The ad is very deceitful.

I read a lot of reviews before buying this body pillow cover. It is a bit different than the one in the picture; it does not have a flap, it just has a zipper on one end. I don't mind the zipper; it never bothers me. The cover looks great, it is really soft and the fabric is good quality.
