I am giving this topper 5 Stars because of the EXCELLENT SUPPORT & COMFORT despite a few negatives which are not important to me. I have tried memory foam in the past but though it did have comfort it did NOT have any support. This topper with LATEX not only has the comfort but it also has the support for my back that I really needed. I have scoliosis, hypokyposis and osteoporosis with multiple spinal fractures ~ so back pain for me is constant. This topper is firm enough to provide for a healthy and happy back alignment, as well as the rest of my body, and just soft enough with enough give and flex to make it comfortable, as well. This very fine topper comes with a beautiful silky quality cover too. As with all of these types of toppers, it seems, judging from all the reviews I have read about others, there is a strong odor at first ~ but does dissipate after one week and all is well. The cut is uneven, a little short on one end, at the bottom, on one side, and it appears that that is the case with other toppers too, judging from other topper product reviews. So it does look funny when the bed is made. However, it does not matter to me, as I live alone, am rather a recluse, so no one will ever see my bed, and all my pets who sleep with me don't seem to care how it looks. We all sleep well: me, my 80 pound black labrador girl and my 3 cats. The sliky cover and topper does seem to shift, slide to one side, a few inches every few days, so I just need to pull it and readjust it, which is easy to do. Other toppers seem to have that same problem. However it is worth the few negatives because this topper is very excellent quality for my need of support and with the comfort for a very restful sleep. No need to buy a new bed now. The price is by far the best deal as compared to the other toppers for sale here on Amazon. It comes very well packaged with 3 thick plastic bags around it. No box necessary. Just carefully cut away the plastic bags and you're good to go. With my fragile condition, I was able to set it up with no problem, though it was a little heavy for me ~ so it was a bit of a challenge ~ but what a relief when I got done and had the opportunity to try it out. The ad states he size is suppose to be 80 x 60 x 3 inches. However, I had mine for 6 weeks and the size is only 74 x 57 x 2 inches. If you buy one, remember that amazon.com return policy is 1 month. I'd like to give this trash and buying experience NEGATIVE 5 stars!

The 1.5" of so-called top quality memory foam was DOA (Dead On Arrival.) After 5 days, nothing! A junk defective product.

To make it worse try getting one of these vacuum-packed toppers back in the box for a return. To add insult to injury, my second choice was a 2.5" gel topper at Costco, which, at the time, was $30 off and is now back to full retail. A waste of time, money, and a miserable buying experience.
