Boppy Cuddle Pillow

I'm only 16 weeks pregnant, but am already starting to find certain sleeping positions slightly uncomfortable. This pillow has been great because I can wedge the bigger end under my belly and kind of lean on it, and tuck the smaller end between my knees to prevent the hip soreness that has been occurring in the last few weeks. It's not so big that I feel like I have this great big unfriendly pillow between me and my partner, and it has a pleasant fluffiness to it while still being supportive.

It arrived in a very stinky vinyl case (not a pillowcase, just packaging), so I had to wash it right away upon receipt. It came through the wash fine and none of the batting matted up or got chunky. It doesn't come with a pillowcase, so am just washing mine every week with the rest of the bedding and so far it is fine. You could slip a king size cover on it, but I didn't like all that extra fabric flapping around.

If I could suggest another improvement beyond a case, it would be to make the skinny end just a bit longer. It works well, but I am 5'6" and a little more length would allow me the absolutely perfect level of support.

Overall, this is a great, functional, and reasonably-priced pillow that I would definitely recommend to those with hip issues who like to sleep with a pillow between their knees, and to expecting mothers. I am definitely glad to have mine.

I have used this pillow in bed every night since I got it, and occasionally bring it to the couch as well. I really like the shape, as it is easy to have under your head and between your arms. I have been able to eliminate the two-pillow system I was using for my head and arms. I do wish it were about 3" longer (and I'm not a particularly large person -5'4").

The pillow is rather soft. It helps with being able to squish it around to get it how you want it, but when I use it on the couch, I often put a second pillow underneath it.

The only other issue with this pillow is the lack of a washable cover. I'm not sure if Boppy is planning to put out a removable cover (as we have for our original Boppy pillow). Since I wanted to keep the pillow clean, I put a king-size pillow case over the pillow. Works okay.

My wife would love for this pillow to be a bit squishier, but its firmness does provide a comfortable amount of space between her knees. It has kept her hips from becoming achy as she sleeps, but as her belly gets bigger, she needs something to support the little man growing inside there too, not just to support her knees and hips. The pillow being squishier would allow her to shape it to better conform to her expanding belly and would provide a more comfortable night's sleep.

Loved this pillow when I got it. Has a nice design and it even had a nice smell. It can be used in different positions and helps keep your back and hips properly aligned. Can be used between your knees or just used as a regular pillow, provides pretty good support, also is very soft. I wouldn't just recommend it to pregnant women, i'd recommend it to anyone who has pain or needs extra comfort for sleeping. Machine washable, 100 percent cotton.
