Charisma Queen Size 400 Thread Count Sateen Sheet Set 100% Egyptian Cotton

I ordered these from Costco.com because I could NOT find regular king sheets locally and I knew I could take them back for free if I didn't like them.

Color: The purple I ordered is a very nice masculine silver-lavender rather than the greyish-pinky purple I keep finding everywhere else.

Feel: They are lightweight, have a silky drape (hand) rather than crisp or stiff and a smooth sateen finish. They're not as smooth as silk, but they're cotton so that's what I expected. They're smoother than any sheets I touched at Bed Bath and Beyond (with the exception of bamboo) smoother than the 500, 600, and 1000 thread-count cotton options they offer.

Quality: The stitching is small and tight (9 stitches/inch = better quality) and the elastic in the fitted sheet is fully encased. The top and pillowcase hems are finished neatly front and back. The fitted sheet actually fits properly without being too baggy over the sides or length (too wide), and the pockets fit my new mattress + foam topper so I am very pleased!

I love these sheets. They have a great feel to them and they wash up beautifully. I've had sheets with a 600 TC and their quality aren't anywhere near the Charisma 400 TC.

I purchased two of these sheet sets from Costco (at different times so a "bad batch" isn't a likely explanation), and both ripped in the middle of the fitted sheet after a year and a half. I do not sleep with a pair of scissors, so this indicates a low quality of fabric. If you wash them several times they get much softer, but it takes awhile for them to lose the cheap, scratchy feel. Wouldn't recommend these to anyone.

Don't be fooled into thinking these sheets are real Charisma sheets by Fieldcrest. They are not. When you fold them the corners don't match up and the overall quality and workmanship is poor. You get what you pay for, and in that regard the sheets are okay for cheap everyday sheets. They're soft and they wash nicely, but they just aren't the real deal.

For the price paid it's a decent spread. It is for my guest room so it will get light use. The sheets were white, guess I didn't notice that in the picture but they do show white there too. Take the time to iron everything, it helps. The skirt is made of the type of material you would find in a jacket lining or a slip, it's very thin and not very well sewn but it ironed out ok. I'm fine with it but it's not a steel, the quality matches what I paid for the set.

Im African-American and I bought it to avoid having to tie my hair up every night, because every head scarf I have tried, would cause hair breakage. Doo rags would break off my hair along the tie line (side edges and back). Scarf would ride up in the back and over time break my hair in the back about 2 inches from the roots. Bonnets would, over time, eventually rub my edges out all around my head. So I decided to ditch them all. This pillow case is wonderful. I can gather all my hair, put it to one side, and lay down on my back, and as I turn my head up, down, left, right, I don't even have to lift my head up and smooth my hair back down. The pillowcase is SO smooth feeling, and very soft. And it doesn't make me hot (as scarves and head-ties tend to do. It comes packaged very nicely folded in a nice sheer pouch (with satin-ish trim (can make a great gift).

I've never paid this much for a pillow case before but it was well worth it. It really is high quality and super soft to the skin so you sink into pillows. There's no scratching or pulling on your face or hair if you're worried about that. I haven't woken up with any creases on my skin from this pillow case yet and I use to fairly frequently with my old pillow cases. It's also a good size and it fits my memory pillow and our big fluffy pillows. But it is a standard pillow case and it wouldn't fit the oversized/king sized pillows. It has gone through the laundry without any special treatment and it came out just like the first day I unwrapped it.

My only complaint is they pillowcases aren't quite large enough for a king size pillow. The have a funny offset cut on the open end similar to a shirt that is cut longer in the back than in the front. But they are great. My hair doesn't look like I just stood out in a tornado when I sleep on these beauties!

We just used our "sleepers" on a trip to Egypt a couple of months ago. Easy to pack in your carry-on and takes up little space. Just a few breaths (you don't have to blow until you're dizzy) and it's ready. You can nestle into the sleeper and it changes your pitch in the airplane seat, so you can comfortably stretch out your legs under the seat in front of you without tucking 2 or 3 pillows behind your lower back and hoping they stay put. Your head rests comfortably in the top of the sleeper. It sure made a 12 1/2 hour flight much more relaxing. The flight attendants, as well as other passengers, wanted to try it out. I could have sold mine on the plane, but I didn't want to suffer on the return flight home.

I truly like the First Class Sleeper and have recommended it to many people. In addition to this product, I would also lug along a REI Lite-core Sit Pad. Therm-a-Rest air cushion would also do as well. Like the First Class Sleeper, just keep these self-inflatable air cushions very lightly inflated. It will greatly reduce crampy leg problems which the First Class Sleeper does not address. This combination works great for long car rides, too. (But not for the driver!) My grade school kids also like them, even with seats that do not lean back. Of course, for those trans-Atlantic flights, don't forget the eye-masks, ear plugs, and a dose of Benadryl.

After reading other reviews I decided to give the First Class Sleeper a try for my flight from Miami to Spain. I made the same trip a few months ago, and at the end of the flights my back and backside were aching. Took me days to get rid of the pain.

I used this product for my more recent trip. I also used a Therm-a-rest cushion that I purchased from REI. The combination of these two made me much more comforatble. It took a little adjustment to find the correct inflation for the most comfort, and I found that the cushion slipped a little. But overall, I think this product is well worth the money. I'm glad I purchased it and I'll use it for long flights from now on!

BTW, I also used it during a 3 hour bus ride in Spain and I was very comfortable.

Don't hesitate this product will make any heinous long haul in coach more pleasant. Like sitting in a cloud of air, you can customize to your comfort level. The picture shown does not do the product justice. Don't blow it up quite as much for a mushy more comfortable feel that does not take away from your already limited seat room. Ask for a window seat and prop it up between you and the wall for a couple of hours restful sleep. A comfortable pair of eyeshades is a great addition.

I used this in combination with the Therm-A-Rest Camp Seat on a 20 hour coach flight to Asia. It was the perfect size to fit on the coach seat. It was much more comfortable than the regular seat, and I found myself relaxed and comfortable at the end of the flight. I herniated two discs last year and was worried I would be in pain for my entire trip, but with this product I experienced no back pain at all.

The pillow only needs a few breaths to fill up to the proper inflation pressure. While it will seem like it is not even close to being inflated properly, once you lean back against it you will find that the small amount of air is perfect. It supports your lower back, shoulders, head and neck. I did try putting more air in it, and it is less comfortable because it is too firm and does not conform to your body. Follow the directions and you find that it is amazingly comfortable.

When it is deflated, it rolls into a fairly small size that easily fit into my backpack.

I recommend this for anyone who is going to go on a long flight and wants to be comfortable and rested at the end of the flight.

The Bookseat is wonderful! I am an online student so I need to prop my textbook up next to my computer to do my classes. This is perfect. Hopes were high reading the reviews of the Book Seat Book Holder (BSBH) especially after my Levenger Thai Silk Book Rest wore out (I'd used it for 8 months straight with a broken wrist), but hey it IS silk. (However, I do highly recommend this Levenger product if you don't have to use it every single day for months at a time after an extensive hand/wrist injury!) When THIS product arrived however, I promptly found the Hardcover novel I'd been struggling to finish & plopped it right in the BSBH. Yes! It fit in the BSBH, BUT that's where any fun ended! There were MAJOR problems trying to actually USE the thing to READ my book, or as I came to find out ANY book of ANY shape or size, hardcover or soft!

1st and Foremost: There's a long clear plastic bar situated right in front of where the book sits and held in place by a looped black elastic cord which is loosened or tightened w/ a snap and slide gizmo. You must slide it TIGHT to hold the clear bar taut to the book thus keeping the book firmly in place & upright, and then guess what? You MUST LOOSEN it AGAIN just to TURN THE PAGE! REPEAT these steps with every single page turn! UCK! Every time you do this the book slides around, or may fall forward if you're lying down, and if your tome is heavy enough: with the BSBH it may just fall right out of the thing! OUCH! IMO, MAJOR design flaw! 2nd, Try lying down to read instead. Lay the book back w/o using the plastic gizmo, Result? Mush around the shape of the filling, playing with the form of the top & sides to support the book by itself all to no avail! Hmm, just NO WAY to do get this this to SUPPORT A BOOK & READ, BOTH! All the BSBH can do is HOLD A BOOK! Now, that's useful for the price!

So, to put a fine point on it: The BSBH just DOES NOT WORK! Period. Don't even THINK about buying it as it WILL be total waste of your hard earned money! Yeah, I know, it's attractive, with little gizmos to draw you in BUT think again and: JUST DON'T DO IT!

I originally bought this for my mother who recently had nerve damage in her hand and has trouble holding a book now. Shipping somehow also sent one to me so I get to use it with my kindle. It's great. I'm not sure my mom uses it at all, but it does seem to work with books and magazines. I also got her the Peeramid Bookrest pillow, but that doesn't seem to hold heavier books. On this one, the reviews all said the plastic that holds the pages is sharp. Seems like the manufacturers could/should fix that. But it works fine on a kindle. It's squishy so I can change the angle a little as needed depending on where I am sitting.

The sheets are as beautiful as pictured. The dark is dark brown (I couldn't tell from the picture whether it was brown or black). The stripes are vertical on the fitted sheet, but horizontal on the top sheet. The blend is actually 60/40 per the tag on the sheets. I've had this blend on several percale weave sets over the years, and it softens up with repeated washings. Right now, they are very crispy, which I don't mind at all, but some might. We like them a lot, and so do our three cats.

These are very nice sheets. My only complaint is why did they put the stripes sideways. The sheets do feel nice and crisp and minimal wrinkling. So far I've been very pleased with the sheets.

I have tried several different types of sheets. The true Egyptian Cotton is definitely my preference. I have also tried from 300-1200 threat count. To me 800 is the best. Obviously this is a preference thing. I did like the 1200 tc, but they were like having a blanket on almost. I live in Florida, and I am a warm sleeper anyway, so the 1200 was too heavy for me. This 800tc set is very soft, pliable, and one of the most comfortable sets I have purchased for sure. I am ordering 2 more sets (I like to wash my sheets a lot). lol

As my son is a huge Florida Gators fan, we purchased this as a room decoration. We placed it on his bed with an assortment of other pillows. It stretches almost the length of his queen size bed and makes for a very eye catching centerpiece when you enter. The colors are bold and bright catching your eye immediately. The pillow itself is soft and fluffy and conforms to your body when you lay on it. As we are not using it in an everyday capacity to lay on, I'm not sure quality wise how it would hold up over time for that type of use. However, for our purposes, it is perfect and makes a wonderful addition to the room decor.

They arrived without delay and in good condition. Colors are warm and mellow. We received two identical pillow covers, not complementary ones as in the photo. Complementary would be much nicer. Also, the fabric has small slit-like openings. Apparently this is typical of kilim weaves and not a problem. If you have the covers on feather cushions, though, you might see a lot of feathers. These pillow cases are made in China.

Leachco Snoogle Pillow Cover

I am very disappointed with the design of the cover. I literally worked up a sweat trying to put on this cover. There is only one opening of the cover where you have to try and maneuver the pillow from both ends through. It is absolutely a chore! I am not sure I will have time to remove and replace the cover for cleaning when my baby is born. Unfortunately, this is the only cover made for the pillow so I had to purchase it to keep the pillow itself from getting dirty. When the cover is on, it does fit well which is not a surprise.

I love the snoogle pillow and in addition to it, I received a slip cover as a gift. It was not this navy color, but a pattern that was purchased at a Babies R Us location. I found the cover to be:

1. Extremely difficult to put on. And as soon as I got it mostly on, I noticed that...

2. There was a tear in the seam that holds the fabric and elastic together. I don't know if it came that way, or if it was a result from all of my struggling and pulling to get the darn thing on. Either way, I felt for 19.99 it should have held up a little better under the pressure, or been in perfect condition from the start.

I decided since there's already a cover on it (plain white) that I didn't really need the slip cover so I took the damaged one back to Babies R Us and exchanged it for some other baby goodies.

I only give this product one star because it is very overpriced and had very bad quality. I wouldn't suggest this product to others until the manufacturer comes out with something stronger and possibly easier to put on.

Sleep Studio 3-Inch Ventilated Memory Foam Mattress Topper with Contour Pillows

I received this set 3 days ago and I've never slept as comfortable as I did this past 2 nights! There are some pros and cons tho in buying this memory foam:

1) The set arrived in a box and the foam was wrapped in plastic to keep it from 'inflating'. I suggest you open the box, remove the plastic wrap and allow the foam to 'breathe' right away so you can use it after 3-5 hours. That will remove the bad odor of the foam and have it to its real size.

2) The memory foam mattress pad was amazing. It made my semi-sunken at the middle mattress so soft and almost flat. Plus my shoulders and neck does not hurt as much anymore when I sleep on my side.

3) The pad was a little small than I expected tho. I purchased the full size pad and it is about 46 inches less in width and 5-8 inches less in length compared to my full sized mattress.

4) I have to admit, the 2 pillows suck. As I quote my boyfriend, they are like pancakes that can easily get squished to flatness. So if you have the option to get the same mattress pad without the 2 pillows for a cheaper price, go get it.

Just sharing my rants and raves for this product. I hope this will help you decide.

I would not technically consider this "memory foam". It is super light weight and low density. When you press your hand into the cushion, instead of leaving an imprint of your hand, the foam fluffs back up right away. I've purchased a much cheaper 2" memory foam that weighed about twice as much as this one, and it provided much more support and cushion.

One thing people seem to leave out in their review is that this mattress pad has several small holes for "ventilation" throughout the entire body. Beware!

The quality of the foam is cheap, but I must admit it was comfortable. Unfortunately, this comfort only lasted a few months. So with everything considered, this is a very overpriced memory foam pad with a ridiculous original price tag. I do not recommend this pad if you're looking for memory foam!

Wow. I love this mattress pad! After so long not having a good night's sleep I was willing to try just about anything. A friend has a similar pad and swears by it. So I gave it a try. The pad fluffed up well over about 5 hours and was like laying on a cloud. I had the best night sleep in recent memory. The pillows aren't that thrilling simply because I don't normally like that kind of pillow and they were a little small. But my children love them so no worries, they have new pillows. My first night's sleep on this foam mattress made me wonder why I hadn't gotten one sooner. Wow! It really does make a difference (at least it did for me). Slept better and much more insulated. I even think this helped my circulation even. Well worth the price.

Be warned: the product comes shipped in a box and the topper is rolled up VERY tight. Unrolling it is a bit of a hassle, then it takes at least 2 to 3 hours before it starts to rise and air gets into the foam. Today (2nd day of ownership) it is still not completely all kinked out, but be patient, it will finally be 3 inches etc.

I saw the reviews on this and decided to give it a try. I had a 2" memory foam on our bed that I bought about 2 years ago. In comparison the old 2" one is considerbly heavier than the new 3". This is very cheap memory foam (the price and quality).This one is more like foam rubber. It is hard and not very confortable. We took it off this morning and put the old one back on.

Tempur-pedic's density is 5.3lbs.

I came up with about 3.05 lbs/cubic ft. for this pad. (Density = Weight / Volume = 13lb / 4.25 cu. ft. ).

Upon recieving I wasn't that happy with this set. First the platic the set came in had a broken zipper and the seams were taped with clear packaging tape. It appeared the whole set had been taken out and put back in as it was very wrinkled. For its original cost to be $200 dollars other than the material being dry clean only, it was as thin as a comforter you would buy from walmart. Also I am glad I have a sleigh bed other wise the comforter would not be long enough to hang over the end. (Also I have a very thick mattress so the comforter does not hang on the sides long enough to cover the mattress, this is my fault not a product but it would be nice if measurements were listed.) I do love the design and will probably end up keeping it but i'm hoping to make it into a duvet cover due to the thin polyester fill. Overall, I'm glad I only paid a $90 but am now wishing I purchased the set for $100 from bed bath and beyond. Love Love Love the feel and look of this set. However, it's not a true King Size. Wish it was a little bigger. It's light and comfortable and looks great on the bed but it doesn't hang over the sides like I want it to.

Angel Soft Microfiber Standard Size Pillow

I thought this was the same pillow I had purchased before (then stupidly left at a hotel). I prefer a pillow that's not too firm and plump, but this one is not quite full enough. Better than most, but not what I expected.
