City Scene Retro Radar Duvet Set

Was SO excited to find this set, as I am a firm believer that walls should not be white, and therefore was desperately searching to find a bed set that could tie in my color choices (a risk purchasing online, I know, but I took a shot anyway, especially at this price). It could perhaps be the settings on my monitor, but the set appeared to be 'warmer' and more 'muted' in tone than what I received; the red is not a deep red, it is an apple red, the peach/tangelo is orange, the white is beige/lt tan, the green is olive, while the tan is in fact, baby 'food' squash yellow I would say what my husband (who also agreed the picture did not match the product even on two seperate monitors) called the color, but I think you get my point. If, however, you are looking for bold, yellow-toned, colors, this would be great. I did not remove this from the package, as the shade of red immediately displaced my interest, but I did notice that I could see the underlying fabrics through the top layer, indicating to me, that the duvet cover and the sheets are of very thin construction (something I could deal with, as I rotate my sheets frequently and was mostly interested in the cover, but worth mentioning for review purposes). In essence, it is not for me, and will be returned as I appreciate deeper, warm, colors, but it does have potential for other color plans/desires, minus the construction of the fabric, that at glance perception, may not hold up well to multiple washings for everyday use over time.

This is a beautiful duvet and high quality. It washes well and looks great on the bed. It is very high quality and the fabric used seems as if it will last for a very long time. I am very happy with this product.

The sheets are excellent in this package! The comforter colors faded a bit after about 10 washes but that is to be expected of such vibrant colors. I still have this set and love it. I wish I could buy more sheets separately.

i bought the duvee, which came with two king size shams, but I never was able to find the sheets or the decorative pillows in the picture. I do have both orange sheets and brown sheets, and both look great with this duvee. really gives life to what was a mismatched, boring blanket combination.
