So, after reading all the reviews and the glowing commentaries, I bough it. I have used different neck pillows and typically liked them. This one is just too firm and doesn't fit my neck in the right way. It pushes my neck up off the couch and leaves me too elevated. I have one that is softer, made with movable beads, and that is great. However, my dog at my last one. Hopefully, he'll eat this one and I'll get a different brand.

It was much thicker than it appeared online. I really needed a neck pillow for my patients at the dental office but it's not going to work. I'll have to somehow remove some of the stuffing

The zipper is about 3 to 4 inches long. The insides gets stuck to the zipper. There is no inner bag, so if you took the filler out, you would take it out in tiny bunches. It would be hard get the pillow back into the shape that you purchased it.

Not in every circumstance, but there are a few spots that can benefit from a focused application of this pillow under the old neck or even leg or hip. Handles add convenience to grabbing or adjusting, and the firmness is pretty good. Could be even better, though, if filled with buckwheat hulls, which I may try.
