Chimney Balloon® Valve/handle Extension 16" (For Use with Any Size Chimney Pillow®)

First let me affirm that using a chimney balloon makes a significant difference in terms of heat loss and drafts from a conventional fireplace with a modern safety damper that does not close all the way. This tool is very useful for inflation because it allows you to place the balloon higher in the chimney, well past the damper, while still being able to reach whatever device you are using to inflate it. The original balloon design has a very short valve, which if you are to reach it to inflate it, might not allow the balloon to be out or range of interfering with the operation of the damper itself. This extension allows you to position the balloon much higher to avoid this problem.

However, you still need to make sure the balloon is within reach, since once you remove the extension, you will still need to close the valve at the bottom of the balloon before you can seal it in place above the damper. So there is still the need for fireplace gymnastics once you have the balloon inflated in place to remove this extension, close the balloon valve, and then close the damper off. Not a perfect solution, but perhaps better than nothing at all. In principle, if you could leave this in place, you would not need to do that, but the stiffness of the rod will probably prevent many dampers from closing, and it also could detach at the balloon end, leaving an exposed valve there so the balloon would lose pressure.

The ideal design would be a telescopic one, so you could leave the extension rod attached and shorten it if you want to close the damper, but then reach up and extend it when you need to inflate or deflate the balloon. Undoubtedly, such a design which was also reasonably airtight is beyond the price point that would be required for an accessory such as this.

DynastyMatttress Luxury Comfort Memory Foam Pillow

I own a tempurpedic queen bed and two tempurpedic comfort pillows. The comfort pillows retail for $125 a piece. I have had my bed and pillows since 2004 and I used to sell Tempurpedic for a national retail chain, so I understand the differences in the products and to some extent why Tempurpedic is so expensive. If money wasn't an issue I would only buy Tempurpedic.

I was looking for a replacement for my pillows since I feel like they have flattened out over the years. I looked over all the foam pillows on Amazon at the time that I made the purchase and felt like this pillow could be the closest to what I already own. Knowing full well that it wasn't a Tempurpedic product. The pillows were delivered extremely quickly, but maybe that was based on where I live. The pillows did not have an overwhelming chemical smell like some foam products do. Even if it did that smell goes away as the product airs out. The dust mite pillow cover is made as well as a Tempurpedic pillow. The material used to make the pillow seems to be high quality. The pillow isn't lumpy and doesnt sepearte into sections after sleeping on it. The pillow is heavier and thicker (taller) than my Tempurpedic pillows. I am 190lbs and 5'11" with broad shoulders and when sleeping on my side or back I feel that my neck is elevated preventing my neck from being staight. My partner feels the same way about the effects of this pillow on his neck and he is about the same height and weight. The foam doens't compress very easily so if you like a firm pillow this could work for you. I considered sending the pillow back, but I don't think I will. They do make a good extra pillow to watch TV in bed because they are firm and won't compress easily, plus they were inexpensive.

For the price, this is a very nice memory foam pillow. Another reviewer has noticed that this is a rung below the temper-pedic pillow, of which I have the Symphony model. It's true, but note that this pillow is some 60 or more dollars less than the Temper-pedic model. For about a third of the price of the name brand, this pillow does quite well in comfort and seems to be of good quality. (I am updating this because the price is no longer much below the cost of the Symphony pillow by Temperpedic. If one were to spend anywhere near the kind of money as a Temperpedic, then definatly buy the Temperpedic. It's so much better. My point was that, once upon a time this pillow was a third of the price, and thus it was worth the cost saving to those wanting a better than average pillow and price was an issue. I hope this helps.)I use this, along with another type of memory foam pillow, in a rotation. It holds its own with the more expensive pillows, and that's saying a lot. The customer service of this company is quite good too.

About a year ago, we purchased a memory foam pillow from Wal-Mart. Though I don't remember the exact price, it was fairly inexpensive. My wife and I both really liked the pillow, so I decided to get another one. After going through numerous reviews on Amazon, we decided on this one. What a disappointment. It wasn't nearly as nice as the much cheaper one from Wal Mart. Neither of us uses it.

I was very disappointed in this order. First off, apparently, sometime between ordering this item and receiving it a week later, they changed the color scheme of the comforter and shams. So, what was in the picture (it's not there now) and what is on the packaging is not the comforter I received. (The current picture on the site is what is now being shipped.) The colors on the neck roll were also different (opposite of what is now shipping/shown).

After getting over the initial shock of the colors being different, I went to put on the bed skirt. It was very cheaply put together, and the seam of the skirt ripped as I was putting it on the bed. Also, the skirt is made of a very fine, transparent material, not what I would have expected considering the advertised "retail price" of this item.

What I thought I had ordered was a California King sized comforter, which included, according to the description, two (2) king sized shams, a bed skirt, and throw pillows. When I put the comforter on the bed it didn't even reach all the way to the head of the bed, so folding it over, as shown in the picture, was totally out of the question. The actual size of the comforter they sent me was 99" x 82", not the 101" x 86" as described on the site, and the shams were regular pillow sized, not king sized.

So overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I was so looking forward to the set I'd seen online the week prior, and thought I had purchased. This is no way a $400 comforter set!

They seem to be filled just right. I use allergy/dust mite pillow protectors, so I think that prevents them from flattening as quickly. I just fluff them up every now and then, maybe once a week or less and they're good to go. I love these pillows!

The pillows are nice I think they should have a been a bit cheaper. When I first received them they had an odor for the first 3-5 days and customer service stated that because they are filled with animal feathers they often have an odor. They are fine now and I enjoy the comfort.

I received these sheets and loved how soft they were. However, I noticed there were some weird discolorations spots on random parts of the sheets (almost like a grease spot) and pillow cases. I contacted the seller and they replied back within a few hours with an apology and a tracking number for my new sheets. I had the replacement sheets within only a few days. This is an update on a previous review I had written, in which I strongly encouraged people to buy these sheets. I am so embarrassed at my endorsement! And I hope that no one bought them on my advice.

While these sheets come out of the package looking and feeling fabulous, after less than ONE MONTH they are so beaded and pilled that it is like sleeping on sand. I think I've bought sheets from the clearance aisle before and have never had this problem. I am really irritated, I could have just bought better sheets in the first place and saved myself the hassle and money of trying these. I guess maybe if they were for a guest bedroom that wasn't used very often they would be alright, but be aware that they lose quality quickly.

PLEASE save yourself the headache and don't buy these sheets!

The sheets are of synthetic material, for which I think the price is too high. I really think that amazon needs to remove the word "Egyptian" from the description, it makes one think of cotton too easily. I feel a little stupid not to have read the exact fine print and was expecting cotton. Should have known better!

Despite other bad reviews, I really loved this set and had to try it. I like that it's reversible. One side makes me think of spring and the other is perfect for the fall/winter season. It was shipped really quickly; and as soon as it came in the mail, I threw it right on my bed. The blanket DID NOT come out lumpy and everything fit perfect. My boyfriend really likes it to. I don't plan on washing it very often so I don't know if it will lump up in the wash. I imagine it would but I sleep under my sheets, so I don't come in contact with my comforter often. Also, it isn't extremely thick, but it's not very thin. If you live in the desert like me, half the year you'll be taking it off the bed.

It looks very pretty in the package, but after unpacking it and putting it on the bed, I was disappointed. There are bumps and lumps everywhere. The filling inside the comforter has balled up in places. It is not smooth and flat.

Very cheap looking. I ordered this because i want our bedroom to have autumn-orange accents. in the photo this quilt looked perfect. i did not order because of the price but because the quilt appeared to be exactly what i wanted. i should have known by the price that it would not be. the colors are odd (the orange is actually more of a neon than an autumn), the fabric is cheap looking, and the 'quilting' is not around the design but more like in a type as if you were to buy quilted fabric at a fabric store (not to criticize fabric stores, but it just looks like a big piece of fabric rather than a quilt).

i've already printed my return label.

The best thing about it is that it actually fits a king-size bed and is not skimpy at all like so many are. Very happy with the quality and color.

Love this set. Pictures don't do it justice. It's soft, cozy and actually drapes off both sides to the dust ruffle and I have a very deep 16" pillow top mattress. I have been searching for the perfect size quilt and I finally found it. Colors are beautiful. I don't agree with previous reviews about it being neon orange. It's a true earthy orange,very beautiful and compliments my brown leather sleigh bed and my brown curtains.

I spent a good amount of time hunting for a soft duvet that wasnt over $200, wasnt striped or heavy. Even in the stores a difficult task. I wanted neutral, airy, and not shiny. Linen seemed too rough and heavy. If you want an incredibly priced soft, light weight duvet, this is it.

I was afraid the color would be too beige but it is not. Very pleased with neutral color and casual softness. Clara clark did a great job knowing what the customer wants. The only place i found what i wanted, and i came back to order another for my sons bed!

The queen dimensions worried me looking at 90 inches both length and width, but you cant tell my comforter is 4 inches wider at all. Fits fine.

Great deal, definitely. I like the texture-feels good for sleeping. I do wish that the corner (of the button end) held in the duvet a bit better, but it hasn't been a big issue.
