I was very disappointed in this order. First off, apparently, sometime between ordering this item and receiving it a week later, they changed the color scheme of the comforter and shams. So, what was in the picture (it's not there now) and what is on the packaging is not the comforter I received. (The current picture on the site is what is now being shipped.) The colors on the neck roll were also different (opposite of what is now shipping/shown).After getting over the initial shock of the colors being different, I went to put on the bed skirt. It was very cheaply put together, and the seam of the skirt ripped as I was putting it on the bed. Also, the skirt is made of a very fine, transparent material, not what I would have expected considering the advertised "retail price" of this item.
What I thought I had ordered was a California King sized comforter, which included, according to the description, two (2) king sized shams, a bed skirt, and throw pillows. When I put the comforter on the bed it didn't even reach all the way to the head of the bed, so folding it over, as shown in the picture, was totally out of the question. The actual size of the comforter they sent me was 99" x 82", not the 101" x 86" as described on the site, and the shams were regular pillow sized, not king sized.
So overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I was so looking forward to the set I'd seen online the week prior, and thought I had purchased. This is no way a $400 comforter set!
