The pillow was soft and silky, just as promised. But it fell apart after the first wash, there's now a huge rip that goes along the seam of the zipper, and I followed all washing instructions and even put it into a separate bag so that it wouldn't tangle with other garments. May try and fix it or possibly purchase another one but so far I'm disappointed.

This pillowcase is exactly what my curls needed. No more split ends, and best of all, no more bedhead! Hog Wild Peeramid Bookrest

The Peeramid Bookrest Pillow is very nice in appearance and would probably suit those looking for support when reading small, soft-bound books. However, my plan was to use the Peeramid to support the very large, heavy, and cumbersome soft-bound books used when studying for the bar exam. Unfortunately, the Peeramid, was not strong enough to support these books. The books simply crushed the top of the Peeramid to lap-level. Additionally, the support "lip" or base of the Peeramid is not very deep. So, again, if you intend to use it to support large or heavy books, I would suggest looking elsewhere for a book rest to help when reading/studying in bed or stand-alone chair. I have ordered a "Thai Book Rest" from Levenger and will test that one out to see if it works better.

I love this pillow!! I bought two a couple of years ago, one for myself and a friend who is also an avid reader. I just bought another one for another friend. I use mine every night when I read in bed. I lie on my side and prop my book up on this book pillow which allows me to read for hours in comfort because I don't have to hold the book up which tires my hand after a period of time, and it provides the perfect angle from which to read the text. The weight of the book is on the pillow and not on my hand. I don't know what I'd do without it. I highly recommend this pillow particularly if you read lying down. Sometimes I put another little pillow on it to vary and adjust the angle of the book.

The only downside is that the "rolled lip" on the bottom of the pillow is not deep enough nor wide enough for a book to fit into, regardless of the thickness, and it doesn't matter if it's a hardback or a paperback it will not fit into the lip. So the book has to rest on top of it. I was hoping that a book would fit into it and hold it open without the use of hands, but that's not the case, you still have to hold it open. But I wouldn't let that deter you from buying this pillow and I still recommend you buy one if you enjoy reading. It's of high quality and made well with really nice fabric.

LifeStyled Classic White Standard Down Bed Pillow

Nice pillow, just what I wanted, but when I gave it a good cuddle and inhaled I almost gagged. Smells very strongly of bird! Guess I've always been spoiled with super fancy down pillows that have been washed a hundred times. From what I've learned since researching the issue, this is common in cheaper feather pillows and will fade with time. Washing or letting it air out is an option. As long as it does indeed fade, I'm happy enough -just don't buy this expecting to sleep on it right off, or you'll be sorely disappointed.

Update: It took awhile to air out, but the smell is now completely gone (it took about three weeks). I love the pillow now; my only complaint is that the feather stems pop out of the pillowcase now and then and feel like little needles. However, this is easily fixed by doubling up on pillowcases.

I'm not sure what I was looking for but usually I spend no more than about $7 on a pillow and I saw this had feathers and a little down, but when I received it I was really let down (no pun intended).

This pillow lays very flat and has no body at all. I use it as a base pillow and keep on using my cheap synthetic pillow. Save your money and go with a cheaper pillow.

iPedic Shredded Gel Memory Foam Pillow

I was finally able to spend a night with my new pillow the day before yesterday and last night and I have had the best two nights sleep I have had in a long, long time. This pillow has to be as close to perfect as you can get.

I am a side sleeper but I think this pillow will work for anyone--anyway they may prefer to sleep.

Now that I have stated how wonderful this pillow is let me caution you that you will not be able to use it for several days because of the odor given off when it is unwrapped. I have owned a number of different memory foam products and they all seem to have some odor but this pillow was obnoxious at first. First day I started to let it air in the living room and it made the whole room unbearable--and I have a BIG living room. Then I moved it out to the screened in lanai and you could smell it as soon as you entered the lanai. Eventually the odor dissipated (with A LOT of help from Febreze).

I would suggest to the manufacturer that he airs these things out before he sends them--maybe they should not be custom made to order but make some up ahead of time??? Or, send Febreze with the pillow.

Anyway, if you can manage to wait the extra shipping days and the time it takes to get rid of the odor you will fall in love with this pillow.

This may sound like a lot of complaining but it really is a good pillow. My wife tried it and now she wants one as well so we will go through all this again--but it is worth it for the quality of sleep this pillow helps you get.

I was very disappointed in this order. First off, apparently, sometime between ordering this item and receiving it a week later, they changed the color scheme of the comforter and shams. So, what was in the picture (it's not there now) and what is on the packaging is not the comforter I received. (The current picture on the site is what is now being shipped.) The colors on the neck roll were also different (opposite of what is now shipping/shown).

After getting over the initial shock of the colors being different, I went to put on the bed skirt. It was very cheaply put together, and the seam of the skirt ripped as I was putting it on the bed. Also, the skirt is made of a very fine, transparent material, not what I would have expected considering the advertised "retail price" of this item.

What I thought I had ordered was a California King sized comforter, which included, according to the description, two (2) king sized shams, a bed skirt, and throw pillows. When I put the comforter on the bed it didn't even reach all the way to the head of the bed, so folding it over, as shown in the picture, was totally out of the question. The actual size of the comforter they sent me was 99" x 82", not the 101" x 86" as described on the site, and the shams were regular pillow sized, not king sized.

So overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I was so looking forward to the set I'd seen online the week prior, and thought I had purchased. This is no way a $400 comforter set!

The saying on this sign is so funny. The only problem I had was that it was smaller than I imagined it to be. Will warn you though; you'll need to wash and dry these products 3-4 times before using as they shed quite a bit when new. Make sure to empty your lint filter 2-3 times drying each drying cycle as it fills up quickly from the natural shedding of chenille.

The bedspread is soft and great, only trouble thoughit did not come with the pillow sham, you have to buy separately.

The price was incredible but the picture showed an entirely different shade of pink. It was more of a cranberry pink. I was a little apprehensive at buying these sheets at first but am ecstatic that I did. I have the most picky daughter (think princess and the pea) and she loves them. They are like butter. Very soft, but not slippery. She LOVES the color and we are going to purchase a second set. We have only had them since 12/11 but have been through several washings. The sheets appear to be holding up well. I would recommend them and have (to my own mother).

Sarah Peyton 36-Inch Memory Foam Body Pillow

After recieving this pillow, I certainly wouldn't classify it as a body pillow. Not only is the pillow too short to be called a body pillow ( more like a king size pillow), it is not bulky (too thin) enough to support your body which is why most people would purchase a body pillow. Along with the pillow I purchased a pillow case which is designed to fit an actual sized body pillow. This makes the pillow case double the length of the actual pillow I purchased. The reason I chose this pilliow case was because the web site suggested it as a companion to the pillow. I am extremely disappointed at the desceptive methods used to advertise these products and will be very leary in any future purchases from this web site (once bitten, twice shy).

I was considering buying the Tempur-pedic body pillow but thought that I'd give this one a try before spending hundreds on it; I'm glad I did! This pillow is perfect but especially if you're a petite person; it is the same length as a king size pillow only not as wide! Awesome pillow although I must admit that the packaging through me off being that it had been shrink wrapped which made it appear, at first glance, that it was very thin. It plumped up in no time. I would highly recommend this one!

It is nice memory foam. But it is NOT what I consider a body pillow. It is just a Longer-Than-Usual Pillow. It still fits in a regular pillow case quite nicely. In fact, i purchased the associated Body Pillow case, but that is in the closet now because i am using a normal pillow case. It is an OK pillow, but do not bother to buy a Body Pillow Case along with it!

I was thinking that this was a larger pillow, however, it is a great little pillow if you sleep on your side and you need support in between your legs etc. I would not use it for my head though, because the foam is a bit firm. The size is about the same size as a king size pillow, except for it is very thin, so you can use king size pillow cases for this.

HoMedics Mcs-360h Swedish Massaging Cushion

Purchased this and a Sharper Image 100 model massager. I set them up, side by side and used them for a few hours over a couple of days. Here's the rub:

Homedics and Sharper Image unit are both made by Homedics but both were different in their results.

Homedic vs. Sharper Image

First you must remove the screw on the back of both units. This is located at the bottom of the back portion, and must be removed before plugging in and using. There is a small allen (hex) wrench provided to remove the screw. If you do not remove screw, you will most likely break the unit on start up.

1. The Homedics remote has less options on the remote than Sharper Image. Fewer options, but sufficient. Homedics has 4 options, Sharper Image 6. The 4 options seem to be sufficient.

2. The Homedics massaging balls that move up and down and rotate on your back are more spread out, and do not run up your back, as close to your spine they massage a little further out on your back than the Sharper Image.

3. The top of the massage balls on the Homedics have a smaller flat spot, thus they give a firmer, harder massage (which I prefer). The Sharper Image was a softer massage as the flat spots on the massage balls are larger and thus do not press as hard on your muscles.

4. The Homedics massage balls stick out farther on the back portion than the Sharper Image unit. Thus by sticking out farther, they provide a deeper, harder massage.

5. The heating aspect is better on the Sharper Image, but sufficient on the Homedics. Wear a T-Shirt and the heat will be enough on the Homedics.

6. I adjust the unit in the chair to massage a larger area. I raise it up in the chair to reach higher on my back and run it for 15 minutes, then lower it in the chair to reach the lower back area. This works well and is a simple fix. Both units have a stretch strap with velcro to keep it attached to the chair back. I put my massager in a office chair. It is easy to remove and replace.

7. Sharper Image goes up a little higher on the back as it is a slightly taller unit.

8. Both units run for 15 minutes, then shut off, but you can turn unit off at any time, or the heat on/off at any time.

9. Price: Homedics $100 at Bed Bath and Beyond, but I showed an internet price from Amazon (exact model) for $83 from my phone to the manager and he said they accept price comparisons, even from the phone. Or you can get a 20% off coupon by going to the Bed Bath & Beyond web site and signing up for their ads and they will have you print a 20% off coupon. So you can get it for $80. The Sharper Image was $119 and i used a BBB 20% coupon and got it for a little less than $100 (before taxes).

Final Decision: I preferred the Homedics, and my wife preferred the Sharper Image. I liked the harder massage, she liked the softer massage. I did like the massage closer in to the spine that the Sharper Image gave on the lower back, but preferred the wider Homedics massage in the wing bone area, since that is where most of the muscle knots are located on my back. I typically use the Homedics massager on my back for about an hour to an hour and a half as it feels great, working those knots out. I am a little sore the next day or two, but I prefer that as I know it is working.

Only thing I wish the Homedics did: Went higher up on back. But since it does not, I simply move the back piece up higher on the chair. Problem solved 20 seconds.

So the bottom line: If you prefer a softer message, that feels great, you will like the Sharper Image 100 unit. If you need or like a harder massage, then the Homedics may be better for you. For the money, it is worth having. A 1 hour deep massage will cost $80. This is not the same, but is pretty good for the $.

A benefit: If you want to add an extended warranty go to squaretrade.com and you can most likely get and extended warranty for about $12-15. Not too bad. If it breaks after the factory warranty, within the extended time frame then they replace it with the next upgraded unit.

Hope this helps. I looked at a lot of reviews and comments and was happy to try these two units side by side. Happy with my purchase.

This reviewer is a 57 YO male, Former LMT, Back Surgery patient. I suffer fror back pain chronically. This review is as objective as I can. People everywhere have differing opinions, and expectations. FOR ME, this device works very well, and I will begin with the positive. In the lower back setting, it ranges from my sacral area to just below my shoulder blades. Upper back setting goes from mid back to just below my neck. The slow, steady motion provides much needed relief. Even when it sits in the OFF position, the balls provide pressure where needed. The controls are illuminated in a pleasent blue light. Set up is quick, and, straight forward. The DOWNSIDE for many, would be as acknowleged in the manual, there IS the smell....... It takes about 48 hours to dissapate. For those who claim it "Pinches", or is too "Aggressive", again, the MANUAL suggests using a towel between you and the cushion. AND!!!!! by READING THE MANUAL......, Where along with a BIG STICKER, advises there is a screw in the back that needs to be removed with the supplied allen wrench.

There is some motor noise, and squeaking against the fabric as the balls move within. This lessens as you use it. I subtracted one star, due to the fact that there should be 12V socket for In-Car use, at this price point, it should be included. Also, I may add, it could be heavy and cumbersome for some. When in pain, this can be a factor. Shop around for % off coupons, and in-store pickup, which I was fortunate enough to do.

I am a 25-year old male and got this massager to help relieve constant muscle tension in my back and shoulders due to stress. As I had a LOT of tension in my shoulders and lower back, I wanted something that would be very strong, even harsh, on my muscles. This was perfect. I had tried this model, which a friend of mine had, and I determined to buy one at that time. I should note, however, that my friend's mother couldn't use the massager as it was too painful so beware that it may hurt for some.

The shiatsu knobs in this massager will dig into your back pretty hard (assuming you use it without a towel as I did). If you use a towel behind your back, it may be a softer massage (i think that's recommended). But if you are looking for some heavy back massage therapy, this is an incredible buy. I was amazed at how strong it was, and how it would grab muscles in my back and almost "move" them as the rotating massage heads moved on their track. The heat is nice and the massager has helped me to reduce my muscle tension by helping stimulate the muscles, reduce knots, and better notice when I am tensing up.

Bottom line if you want a STRONG massager, more for *therapy* not relaxation then this is a terrific buy. It is strong and durable and I love it. If you are looking for a massager that is gentle and relaxing, find something else, or use this with a towel.

Five stars for incredibly strong massage, and durability. I should note however that after heavy daily use (30+ minutes a day, 4+ times per week, for 6 weeks) I am noticing the strength of the massager getting weaker, as I think I've worn out some of the parts. However, I use it much more than recommended, and I lean pretty hard into it so that it digs into my back. Overall, it's much more durable than my Brookstone percussion massager, for the price.

After reading many reviews I choose to purchase this massage cushion for my husband for a gift. He found that while using the cushion the piece that went up and down your back to give you the massage was very hard, causing a very intense massage almost hurtful at times. Other people in the family tried it too and said they didn't like it either. We like to leave this type of cushion on the chair so he can use the heat feature when he wants. Not with this cushion. That piece that stuck out made it too uncomfortable. So he would have had a feature he couldn't use.

If you like a very intense massage this is the one for you. If you like to remove your cushion once done with the massage and have a place to store it, this is for you too.

I've returned the cushion. We decided that these types of things are best purchased in the store where they can be tried out first!

I bought this massage cushion because my previous Homedics one quit working after 2 years and they don't have that model in stock anymore (sbm-300h I think). I really liked my old one because the massage was very strong and it had a pretty good range. I'm 5'8" and it reahed the top of my shoulders. It's hard to gauge the strength of a massage cushion by reading reviews. There are so many people that think a lot of shiatsu cushions are too strong. I wouldn't dream of putting anything between myself and my cushion. I'm not a big girl and I love the strong shiatsu, therefore I think a lot of cushions would be too mild for me. That includes THIS one. It seemed very weak to meI was very disappointed. It also had limited range and didn't even reach my lower back. The heat was also very weak. I was so disappointed with this one that I turned it off, didn't even let it finish it's cycle, and packed it back up in the box to be returned. Paying $13 for return shipping isn't fun, but I loved my other massager so much that I want to find one I love again... it's so relaxing! So if you know you like a stronger massage and want it to reach both top and bottom of your back, don't waste your time with this one.

I love wallflowers because the scent really lasts a long time. They are so strong, that depending on the scent, sometimes I just leave one plugged in rather than 2. Beyond Down Gel Fiber Mattress Pad

I had high hopes for this mattress pad. It started out wonderful, but after a short time, the material traveled into the other squares. This left the sections directly under where we sleep without any stuffing, and all around us padded nicely with the comfy gel insides. We've tried throwing it in the dryer on the air setting with tennis balls to "punch" it around, but it hasn't really helped. I wouldn't have purchased this mattress pad if I had known about these results. I think the next time we purchase something like this, we'll try a memory foam mattress pad, of which we've heard much better reviews.

I bought a queen size Beyong Down gel fiber mattress pad and I must say, the first night I got into bed, it was a decided difference from sleeping just on a regular mattress pad. It was billowy and dreamy, much like I always thought getting into bed should feel like.

Yes, this product is wonderful UNTIL you wash it. I washed and partially dried this in my heavy-duty, front-loading machines on gentle cycle, and still the stuffing shifted from pocket to pocket, leaving the mattress pad with big lumps in some pockets and no stuffing whatsoever in other pockets. I returned the two I had in Atlanta. I have several more which have not yet been washed at my summer home. We'll see what happens. I am not able to change the star rating or I certainly would. Disappointing.

the filling in this is very soft, the material is very soft and feels like quality but the padding is uneven. Why would they make the sides more padded than the center? This is the only thing I dislike about this pad, I would idelaly like the padding to be even the whole way across.

Pillow 18inch Square Bullion Sage

This pillow appears to be beige and sage. Even considering the color differences in monitors, it is definitely a light gold and sage, and the reverse side is gold. Although I would have preferred the colors as shown, I still like the pillow the fringe is a generous length.
