the material is 100% polyester yet it does FEEL satiny soft. This is not silk. I should have understood that better. As far as for hair, i still wear my night cap at night and i haven't noticed any less breakage if the cap were to fall off. These pillowcases are nice looking, and work well for decorative pillows. But the material isn't particularly comfortable to sleep on -it's relatively "rough" or "coarse" especially compared to cotton pillowcases.

I bought the big one based on the stellar reviews of the smaller Tush Cush. It is a relief actually. I have an office chair that I maybe the 3rd or 4th person to occupy, so until the office feels the need to replace the chair, this is a fantastic alternative. The spine cutout really is a great idea. The pressure is much better. Funny name.

I'm surprised to see the poor reviews. I'm online to buy another one because bringing this to restaurants was the only way I could go out when I was pregnant. I sat on it at home and in the car all the time. Maybe it depends what you have wrong with your back which makes it useful or not... I have lower back problems.

The cushion is fairly firm. Even after using it for a month, I wouldn't call it soft at all. It's better than the hard seat of my chair, but I'd hesitate to call it comfortable.

It's also fairly short front to back. This means much of the seat is left uncovered in my executive-style chair. This means I always have to adjust it before I sit down, so that I'm actually sitting on the cushion instead of just the front part of it. I can't imagine using this with the strap around the spine of a more standard office chair. There wouldn't be much of anything to sit on.

Part of the above is exacerbated by the wedge shape of the cushion. The front is smaller than the back, so it constantly wants to squish to the back of the seat as you sit on it. This makes adjusting position in your chair or getting up and sitting back down lead to having to readjust the cushion a lot.

I don't recommend this cushion, but it's usable and better than the $5 foam pads you can buy at Walmart, etc..

Got this for my home office. I have to sit for about 8-9 hours a day. I have had back problems for many years. This product didn't make much difference on comfort or ease the pain. It was just extra cushion. This is very thick. It will raise you about 2-3 inch. If you are 5'8 or less, using this product might take your feet off the ground (depends on the height of your chair as well). I don't think it is worth $50 (including shipping). Good Luck!

This is a very comfortable seat cushion and I couldn't ask for a better one. Many of the reviews recommended getting this larger size--it is definitely more than adequate for my backside but perhaps a bit on the large size for the size of chairs I was using it on. I'm a light bloke (~135 pounds) and this certainly had adequate padding for my needs--I found myself sliding forward a bit because of the angle, but it really wasn't a problem. I am pleased with the product, though it would be nice if the price were a bit less.

I read the reviews and since most were positive, I figured I'd buy it from the photo. Unfortunately the description and photo are quite misleading. Photo makes item look super thick and plush it's not. To send back and pay shipping is just not worth it.

It's really nothing more than a mattress pad. It's not puffy and full at all. I don't know how some reviewers can say it gives life to their worn mattress. My mattress is only 2 months old but too firm.

It is thicker than other bed pads, but not as thick as I expected. Quite cushy and comfortable to sleep on. Easy to put on the bed.

I was shopping for a mattress pad for my son, a soldier stationed in Iraq, as the worn out Army mattresses are very uncomfortable and I thought a softer top might help. Although the reviews were just so-so, I chose this mattress pad because it looked fluffier in the photo than other pads I looked at. I had the pad shipped directly to my son so I never actually saw it, and could only hope it was a good product and packed well enough to get there in one piece.

I love the look of this sectional and I love the fact that you can configure it to many different arrangements. However, I question the quality and durability. My husband and I are almost afraid to sit on it. It is hollow inside and the backing is just a paper thin piece of wood. I'm hoping it lasts, but I'm not holding my breath.

Pillowcase fabric is listed as cotton/poly on its package, but manufacturer Core Products fails to specify the percentage of each. Fabric feels sleazy as though polyester predominates. It has no zipper but instead two lengthwise seams, a fabric flap, and is ill-fitting. One of the long seams usually ends up under the body, and is uncomfortable. I threw it away.

I miss the original Guardian Jackson Cervipillo [registered trademark], which is no longer made by Sunrise Medical; it had a zippered cotton/poly pillowcase with a great fit and comfortable fabric that laundered beautifully. If only I'd known they were going out, I would've stocked up on Cervipillo and their pillowcases.

It fits perfectly on my Jackson Roll. As stated there is no zip to close it, it's like a sham in that the back of the pillowcase overlaps on itself. Wish it came in other colors though.

Our name-brand spring mattress was too firm and uncomfortable for me, but was comfortable for my husband. Rather than buying an expensive bed with different firmness options on each side, I began looking into twin-size viscoelastic mattress toppers, figuring that I could place one on just my side of our queen-size bed. I ended up buying this one just over a year ago because it is 4-lb foam (as opposed to the 2.5-lb. foam used in many of the cheaper toppers).

Using this topper on just half of a queen-size bed (a use for which it is not specifically designed) does have its aesthetic drawbacks: when you look at the bed, my side is noticeably higher than my husband's side, and you can also clearly see that the topper overhangs the edge of the bed by quite a bit. So if a neatly made bed is important to you, this solution may not be for you. (Of course, if you buy a topper that actually fits the entire top surface of your mattress, the appearance will probably be much neater; I'm only describing the way a twin-size topper fits one-half of a queen-size bed.) Nevertheless, it has provided us with an affordable alternative to buying a completely new mattress.

Some people who buy toppers like this one seem to regard the improvement in their sleep comfort level as near-miraculous; perhaps their beds were worse to begin with, because I wouldn't go that far in my praise. However, the topper has definitely helped me sleep better and more comfortably. I am able to lie in a given position for a much longer period of time, and I no longer wake up constantly in order to turn over. I have had this topper for over a year now, and it is holding up extremely well; I can't yet detect any decrease in comfort.

Finally, a word or two about the smell of viscoelastic foam: With this topper, I found that the smell did gradually go away; I don't remember how long it took to do so, but I think it was probably at least a couple of weeks before it dropped to a level where I ceased to notice it. If you are sensitive to smells, you may find that you notice it for longer than that, so please do take that into consideration when buying memory foam bedding.

If you need a new bed, get a new bed. However, if you have a perfectly good bed that is just a bit too firm for you, a viscoelastic mattress topper like this one may be just the ticket.

This product, while maybe a tad (4 inches) too wide for my bed size, is a great choice for any mattress, especially college dorm rooms. I did notice the smell the first night but I also think that I was actively looking for it based on the other reviews. Besides that, It provides great support and I feel like it's the perfect synthesis between firm and comfortable. I always want to be on my bed. That being said, everyone has a different preference when it comes to mattresses, so make sure that before you buy this product that you can sleep on a memory foam pad.

I bought this for my daughter for her college dorm bed. She absolutely LOVES it!

Her first night there she told me her bed was more comfortable than her full sized bed at home.

She also had a friend sleep over, and she let them sleep in her bed while she slept in her

room mates, who was gone for the weekend, and they didn't want to get out of it either.

He just kept asking her where she got her bed pad because he wanted one for himself.

This memory foam has significantly increased my sleep quality. Love it! It does have a strong memory even after 7 months.

Also, there has been no strong smell at all. Perhaps it's because I cover it with a mattress pad, but I really can't smell anything from it since the second night. The free pillow is nice, but it has turned entirely yellow in a short time still functional though.

LumbAir Plus Adjustable Back Support

I purchased this pillow as well as the $19 "Adjust-Air Portable Lumbar Support by Mediflow." Both pillows are similar, but overall I think this one provides better lumbar support. However, if you're concerned about having the external hose/bulb arrangement, you might be happier with the $19 version.

I like this pillow best for the car. Once it's in place, having the external bulb makes it very easy to inflate/deflate even while driving. A downside is that it can catch on things if you're constantly moving it between the car and house/office.

The $19 version is pretty much the same pillow, however the bulb and release valve are just sewn into the pillow underneath "+" and "-" symbols. Being self-contained, it's definitely easier to move around and take with you. However, it can be hard to reach the bulb to inflate, and you can also accidentally lean against the air release valve when you don't intend to.

Overall, I'm happy with both pillows, but this version is probably slightly better. It'll give you a little better support in my opinion than the $19 version. I keep this one in the car, and carry around the self-contained pillow for the house and office.

My car did not come with built in lumbar support. So I ordered this item, opened the back of my driver's seat, inserted this lumbar support and left the tube and bulb hanging out toward's the right side of my driver seat. It works great! I now have adjustable lumbar support for my aching back. Nice product! You will need to consult an owner's manual to figure out how to get into your seat back. And please be careful...as modern cars like mine have wires in the seat for air bags, seat belts and seat warmers and you don't want to damage or pinch those.

I am very satisfied with the quality of this lumbar pillow. It looks and feels very well made. I was a bit concerned the pump action would be gimmicky and not work well, but I am very pleased with how it works. You feel a clear expansion of the pillow with each pump of the bulb. The packaging doesn't include any real instructions, but I'd say 7-10 pumps would be the absolute max (I didn't want to risk maxing mine out I'd think up to 5 pumps would be what most people would use). This is nice that you just need to pump it a few times to get the expansion you need before receiving it I pictured myself having to furiously pump the bulb. Also, even fully deflated, the foam inside provides some support that might be all some people need.

The only things different than the picture is that the cushion I received is black. Also there is an adjustable strap on it to fasten it to your chair-back, which is not pictured, but I assumed it would have.

The company selling this item Colonial Medical Assisted Devices shipped the pillow super fast. I received it within 2-3 days of placing the order.

The car I drive has about zero lumbar support in the seats so I am hoping this cushion will work under an aftermarket seat cover. I haven't started trying it out yet, but I previously bought a larger memory foam cushion, but it was way too big pushing me forward too much. I am hopeful this one will work out with its smaller size. I would surmise that your end-result level of success with this cushion will depend on your individual need and usage of it. I would reiterate that it is a very well-made product for the money and is sold by a good company.

This is a good product and performs as advetised. I would have liked it to be a little wider across my lower back. Also note: it provides considerable support even when the bladder is totally empty of air. If you want to remove all support, you have to take it out. Otherwise very comfortable, also makes a nice neck pillow when you want to tilt you seat back and take a nap.

Basic Mattress Protector

We purchased this mattress protector for my toddler's bed as it was recommended highly by the mattress vendor. However, it leaked badly when he had an accident in his bed and we ended up with a very wet mattress. We called the company to report the defective mattress protector and they put us through an extensive process of collecting information from the protector, faxing in multiple documents, designating the leaky areas of the protector and finally shipping it back to them. We then received a call from Protect-a-bed and said that they concluded that YESthe protector we had was indeed leaky (gee thanks!) but it was user error and NOT a manufacturer defect so they are not responsible! The customer service agent told me that we must not have followed the directions to wash and dry it properly which cause the protective barrier to warp. I responded that we had not even washed it prior to putting it on his bed so it could not have been our fault. AnyhowI definitely do not recommend purchasing from this company as they do not have a quality product nor do they honor their warranty.

This is the "Basic" model of the Protect-A-Bed Mattress Protector. Just make sure you know what you're getting. The "Basic" protector has a bit of a plastic feel. It correspondingly has a bit of a plastic noise when you lay on it. It's not like the cheap mattress protectors that can be REALLY loud and crinkly, and I think it's fine for a child's bed. But it wouldn't be desirable on an adult bed. Alternatively, Protect-A-Bed sells a "Premium" Mattress Protector, offering the same mattress protection, but with a more breathable, more plush (terry cloth-like) fabric, which is an excellent choice for adult beds. As long as you know what you're getting, this one can be a good choice, and it's worth spending the money over the louder mattress covers.

Updated review: This protector seemed to work well at first so we bought a 2nd one but after 1-year the newer protector started leaking and after 1.5 yrs the older one started leaking. Maybe it leaked as other noted because the company said it was not properly cared for. I know we washed and dried it multiple times but no matter what, it failed and the mattress got wet. :-(

I would not recommend this brand/model. I will try a different one in the future and will pay more for hopefully one that is more durable/reliable.

This product claims to have a warranty and will come clean your mattress if anything gets through. What they DONT tell you is that they must first "inspect" the mattress. I never once laundered my brand new Protect A bed and when it was stained, I sent it to the company as directed and they said they were not liable because the leakage was caused by abrasions due to it being laundered. They would not work with me AT ALL. Horrible Company. Horrible customer service! I do not recommend buying this product.

The pillow is nothing like the one purchased for me by my son and his fiancee this paat Christmas at Bed,Bath and Beyond. It is hard and does not conform to my neck well at all. Knew when I got it out of the box this would be right for me! Some years ago I left "my pillow" behind on a road trip, which was a shredded foam I had for over 10 years. Always got the best sleep with it. Have purchased every sort of non-foam, even a solid latex, but nothing ever gave me the comfort "my pillow" did. When I came across this one on Amazon while searching for a latex bed topper, and read the reviews of this one, as well as others, I figured I could always bag it back up and donate it to a shelter for it's small price tag, if I wasn't happy with it. I slept on it for a few nights, and decided I would have to make these small and easy fixes to make it perfect for me: Take it out of the zipper case it comes in, brush off the few pieces of "foam lint" stuck to the nice shadow stripe ticking which encases the shredded foam, and set it outdoors for the day to air out. There is a slight latex odor. I washed the zipper case to freshen and soften it. The pillow is nicely filled, and a bit heavy, but I wanted it more puffy, so I used my sewing machine to shorten up the casing about 3 inches, as well as the zipper case. This might seem like too much trouble to most, but being a side sleeper who ends up on her back, with arthritic shoulders, this pillow is a Godsend to me! Hurrah for shredded latex! Bottom line: Inexpensive, may need your own personal touches, but if you want great sleep try this pillow!

You can pay $20 more for almost the same pillow at Bed Bath and Beyond. I owned three chopped foam pillows, this is SLIGHTLY less "stuffed" than the other two, but overall a great buy. It had a very chemically smell for the first couple of days even in a case but it aired out quickly (you could probably stick it outside and have it gone in a day). Just be aware, its chopped memory foam, not a solid block. I like the ability to shape the pillow to the thickness and size I want, but its nothing like the solid memory foam pillow which I also have.

In looking at the reviews on this pillow I thought it was exactly what I was looking for. It is not! Don't waste your money like I did. This pillow is pieces of rubber inside a case, not a solid piece of latex like I wanted. Not firm at all. The rubber pieces just roll around inside. You have to keep punching it up to have anything to sleep on. VERY DISAPPOINTING! I tried saving a few bucks but I will go back to Penney's to buy their $47 good firm latex pillow. At least I know what I'm getting there.

Smartsilk Set of 2 Pillows

Just received these pillows which I purchased for my husband's allergies (dust mites & down). Using these to replace poly fill pillows with allergy encasing covers for dust mites. After the first night of using them, there was a marked difference in his quality of sleep and breathing. They are very plump with the right amount of softness as we are both side sleepers. These are wonderful and less expensive from Amazon than purchasing from the SmartSilk website. Getting ready to purchase another set, that's how much we love them.

There were no reviews for these pillows, but I decided to take a chance and order them anyway. For the price I thought they should be outstanding. I wasn't disappointed. They are nice and plump, yet they have just the right amount of give when sleeping on them.

This is a terrible pillow. The best way to describe it is like sleeping on soft oatmeal. If you put even the slightest weight on the pillow it instantly gets flat. I can not understand why so many people like this pillow. There is no spring to the pillow and is like sleeping on a thick, flat sheet. I was not sure about buying a pillow online, and I should have skipped it. You really need to feel a pillow to see if it is right for you.

Pillow got only 4 stars because its not for back sleepers. I keep this set for watching TV and another set of less firm pillows for actual sleeping. Overall a high quality pillow with a silk like feel. Perfect for side sleepers.

Pillow 18inch Square Bullion Sage

This pillow appears to be beige and sage. Even considering the color differences in monitors, it is definitely a light gold and sage, and the reverse side is gold. Although I would have preferred the colors as shown, I still like the pillow the fringe is a generous length.
