600 Thread Count Percale Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set, King, Beige Solid

Several months ago I ordered the 600TC Percale sheets in blue. Wonderful sheets! Smooth, soft, thick, comfortable. The finish on the fabric almost feels like microfiber, though they're labeled 100% cotton. Thought I'd tempt fate and order another set in a different color. Night and day....

First, the color. They are not beige. They are khaki with a smidge of pea soup green. Hopefully they'll fade to something resembling beige. Second, they take "crisp" to a whole new level in sheets. I'd have to describe them as "krispy krunchy" like sleeping in a bowl of corn flakes (minus the milk). Remember back when blue jeans were stiff when new and you'd have to wear and wash them for a year or two before they were comfortable? They've reinvented that stiff cotton for these sheets. The noise alone will keep you up all night. They rustle like fall leaves in a hurricane. A bit scratchy too I'd say 200 grit. Hopefully that will improve with age and washing.

The positives: They appear to be ok as far as construction. Don't like the way the pillowcase seams spiral around the pillow, but that's a warp/weft problem that throws off the seam after laundering. It's only a few inches so I'll let it go. Another positive they're cool. As all good cotton is, they breathe really well. If they soften up a bit (a lot would be better) they'll be great summertime sheets. Can't complain at the price.

I'm done with sheets online. Too expensive an experiment. I've heard that Costco percale sheets are a decent buy.

These sheets are of excellent quality and fit. The elastic on all sides of the fitted sheet permit a more stable placement of the bottom sheet. I have washed this set multiple times now and the finish remains like new. They are very soft with no pilling, fading or other fabric degradation. I plan to purchase another set.

01-2012 UPDATE: After using the sheets for a year, rotating with other sheet sets, this bamboo/ cotton set began to slowly shrink. There was no difference in laundering. The sheet set remains very soft with no pilling, but the shrinkage makes it too difficult to use. Also, when I purchased this set it was $79.99.

It was worth coughing up a few extra dollars for this. After 3 washes it still hasn't fallen apart yet, no signs of fraying or loose threads either. It covers the mattress very well all around. When it comes time to buy a new one in the future, I'll definitely keep this in my thoughts.

I'm quite happy with these sheets, although I must admit I thought 1200 count sheets would be an experience in itself. I suppose it's true that beyond 500 count a lot of people won't be able to tell the difference. Nonetheless, these sheets are comfortable and well-priced. They arrived before any other item in my order, which says a lot for Amazon standards and the customer service is terrific. I will likely buy a second set.

The pillow works wonders for my snoring problem. I'm a back sleeper and i am recently trying to sleep on my side to reduce my snoring. It seems to be working and pillow is comfy. Only problem i have is that i have removed the pillow cover and I am unable to put it back on since the cover is a very tight fit and it has to go along the curves of the acutal pillow. I sent an email to the manufacturer asking them how do i reinstall the pillow cover, but they have not responded to me.

The pillow comes with a cover, so it's not necessary to spend the money on an extra. The pillow case is difficult to change. There is a small opening in one end, which is hard to fit around the large bell-shaped end. A zipper/ or snaps somewhere would have been helpful. The pillow is amazing, but skip the extra cover.

I got my pillow as a hand-me-down from a friend, so I wanted to change the cover. The thread count is a little weak, and I noticed a difference in scratchiness from my regular pillowcase. And it's an enormous pain to put on the pillow. I had to get my husband to do it because after 5 minutes of trying to squeeze the damn thing on I was out of breath and frustrated. By the time he got it on he was actually sweating. In short, I hate this thing, but it does the job and I had no other choice because the pillow and I have a very important relationship. I would appreciate a higher thread count since I spend so much time with the pillow.

the pillow was flat inabout 6weeks, and after taking it to the cleaners it was still flat! I called the company and they basicly said so what! all I was asking for was a coupon or discount to buy another and they siad so what.

I bought two of these covers to hide some really ugly pillows that were actually 20x20 inches and they work beautifully! Really hold their shape because they aren't made of a stretchy fabric, and much more lovely in real life than I even hoped for be careful of the embossed side if you wear rings that can snag, but otherwise these are just fabulous covers and I plan to buy a few more in a different color. You won't regret this purchase :-)

Cathay Luxury Silky Soft Polyester Standard Size Pillow Cases

These pillow cases are poor quality. Very thin and puckered at the seams after washing. I would not buy them again.

These pillow cases are made of excellent quality material. However, they get only one star because they came in two shades of cream. They don't match!! One is a light cream and one is beige. I couldn't believe my eyes. I've never opened a package of 2 pillow cases and they weren't the same color. WOW what happened?

The cases are soft and feel nicw but I hate that flap that's in the inside it is really non functional. It is always hanging out of the pillow case. they are soft though. a little to pricy.

This is a pretty pillow--which is why I purchased it! It's puffy and soft too. But the fabric is some sort of strange feeling polyester blend. Sadly, I cut the tags off when I got it, so I cannot return it, but the peacock IS nice looking!

Jackson Roll Slip-On Pillowcase

Pillowcase fabric is listed as cotton/poly on its package, but manufacturer Core Products fails to specify the percentage of each. Fabric feels sleazy as though polyester predominates. It has no zipper but instead two lengthwise seams, a fabric flap, and is ill-fitting. One of the long seams usually ends up under the body, and is uncomfortable. I threw it away.

I miss the original Guardian Jackson Cervipillo [registered trademark], which is no longer made by Sunrise Medical; it had a zippered cotton/poly pillowcase with a great fit and comfortable fabric that laundered beautifully. If only I'd known they were going out, I would've stocked up on Cervipillo and their pillowcases.

It fits perfectly on my Jackson Roll. As stated there is no zip to close it, it's like a sham in that the back of the pillowcase overlaps on itself. Wish it came in other colors though.

This pillowcase fits perfectly over the Jackson pillow. It is made well, so that it is very easy to put on and take off for washing. I wish the material were a little softer. But it will hold up well. I'm pleased that it came in light blue, rather than white.

This pillow was not at all what I expected. Note to self, read the product description carefully and ask questions if necessary. Doh! I didn't notice one very important piece of information in the product description. Something that would have made me think "huh!" Do you see it? I'll give you a hint, it's in the Product Details section. See it now? The pillow weighs six pounds. Yes, 6 lbs! Subtract for the carboard box and it's still a heavy pillow.

This thing is a brick lol. Well, I'm kidding of course; it's softer than a brick. It's not nearly as soft as I needed though. My head barely made a dent in it. My neck was sore from being flexed all night because the pillow wasn't giving way. Suffices to say it is a very firm pillow.

In all fairness to this brick...err pillow, it did appear to be well made; probably too well hahah! It has a quilted, light mocha cover that is removeable for washing.

I wanted to like it but there was just no way I could get comfortable on a pillow that is so heavy and firm. I returned mine.

One other FYI, this pillow is sold and fulfilled by Sleep Central. They would not pay the return shipping. The pillow is very heavy and the box is "oversized" per USPS. Return shipping cost me $14.00 from Arizona.

The pillows "hole" in the middle keeps my head in place while I sleep. I can't strain my neck by having it roll over to the left or right. The cushioning really helps support my neck. I go to a chiropractor but I still had a lot of small neck frustrations. This pillow has eliminated virtually all of them. I can't recommend it enough.

I was in a car accident and was at the chiropractors 3 times a week for a few years and he prescribed me this pillow and told me to only use it for about 10-20 minutes a day then build up to sleeping with it all night. That was over 3 years ago and to this day, I can not use another pillow and do not have to go to the chiropractor any longer. It keeps your neck in the proper alignment to allow your muscle tissues to heal. It might seem a little fluffier than most pillows at first but once it settles to your body, it'll be perfect and you'll get a few good years out of it. Since it was prescribed by my chiropractor I was expecting it to be expensive, but it's no more than a regular quality pillow. I've tried the regular memory foam pillows that they sell in retail stores, but this doesn't even compare. I LOVE IT!!!

NOT A GOOD PILLOW! If you want a VERY HARD pillow with a very odd shape, this pillow is for you. But the pillow is so hard that I find it unbelievable that anyone could sleep on it at all. Plus, if you sleep on your side, you are instructed to sleep only on the narrow end, which requires you to balance your head on it, or your head either falls off the pillow, or falls into the depression in the center of the pillow. Since you have to stay awake (not that I was getting any sleep!)to manage this balancing feat, it defeats the purpose of a pillow. And most of the pillow is wasted if you have to sleep on one narrow part. Ugh. Obviously, the pillow is a good fit for someone. (previous review.) Definitely NOT for ME! Be aware of the characteristics of this pillow before you risk purchasing it!

I think it is primarily for people who have problems with their necks. Otherwise, if you are used to sleep on ordinary pillows, it will probably take you a long time before you get used to it.

This sham is very nice, but it is not leather. Not only that, but it is not even the fake leather all the way around. The information written about it says "French back opening" but doesn't mention that it is some sort of polyester cloth material on the back. It has a leather-look front and that's all. It is still very nice but I do feel like I really overpaid. In addition, the cloth backing material has some sort of "treated" smell and now I can't wash it because of the leather-colored synthetic front. I am still using it, I just don't like it close to my head when I'm sleeping and need to remember to remove it from the bed.

The leather-colored synthetic material looks is distressed and is actually beautiful. It is quite a bit larger than my European pillow, and thus is very droopy because of all of the extra room; however, this is a fine look for a slouchy leatherlike-front pillow. If this is what you're looking for, I think you'll like this particular pillow.

Not recommended, unless you want to pay this much for a beautiful fake leather sham.

However, the cloth on the reverse side is a lot lighter than the vinyl side, so it is difficult to position the pillow to hide the material on the backside. It almost always shows. The product is a decent solution for the price, but what I really want is leather, and when I'm willing to pay for it, I'll get leather.

This is cheaper many other models of pregnancy bolster sets, and with good reason. I have successfully used this in sessions with women who are "not that pregnant". Anyone woman who carries their little ones more out than in, is going to outgrow this thing in the first trimester. It's a little clunky to use and the foam is middle of the road, a little too compressible for my liking. For the money, I can't complain, but I certainly wished I had held out for the Earthlite cushions. With some creativity, and some additional bolsters, this set can be made to work for women who are not carrying too far forward, or are early in their pregnancy. I am also somewhat wary of the durability, all the materials are of somewhat suspect quality. I would recommend avoiding this set unless you simply cannot afford the higher quality ones.

I really like the pregnancy cushion. It came as expected. The price was fabulous esp since it came with a very nice carrying case. The only thing I would have liked is an explanation of one of the cushions. I have used many different pregnancy cushions, so I am familiar with the set up. But they include a long rectangular cushion that I have not found a use. What is it for? Please advise.
