Croscill Santa Fe European Pillow Sham

Croscill Santa Fe European Pillow Sham****

This sham is very nice, but it is not leather. Not only that, but it is not even the fake leather all the way around. The information written about it says "French back opening" but doesn't mention that it is some sort of polyester cloth material on the back. It has a leather-look front and that's all. It is still very nice but I do feel like I really overpaid. In addition, the cloth backing material has some sort of "treated" smell and now I can't wash it because of the leather-colored synthetic front. I am still using it, I just don't like it close to my head when I'm sleeping and need to remember to remove it from the bed.

The leather-colored synthetic material looks is distressed and is actually beautiful. It is quite a bit larger than my European pillow, and thus is very droopy because of all of the extra room; however, this is a fine look for a slouchy leatherlike-front pillow. If this is what you're looking for, I think you'll like this particular pillow.

Not recommended, unless you want to pay this much for a beautiful fake leather sham.

Expected more than "HomeGoods" level quality leather, end product was more similar to "Target" level. Back is all cloth as well.

This sham has the look I wanted and indeed the picture is mostly true to the look. However, the cloth on the reverse side is a lot lighter than the vinyl side, so it is difficult to position the pillow to hide the material on the backside. It almost always shows. The product is a decent solution for the price, but what I really want is leather, and when I'm willing to pay for it, I'll get leather.

This European Pillow Sham is a lot bigger than I expected. Too big in fact so I am using it in our living room instead of the bedroom.
