I have tried at least 10 different pillows the past year due to a neck injury. This is the best pillow I have found so far. Not too soft, not too firm. It does take a week or more to "soften" up. You also should unzip the cover to air out the pillow for 24-48 hours prior to use.

This review is for the Natura shredded latex pillow. I could not find a review section for the shredded latex type of pillow and wanted to put one out on the internet for any other person looking for reviews on the latex pillow. I bought the Natura shredded latex pillow for my allergen suffering son. Once the pillows arrived, they had to be aired out for 2 weeks before the latex off gassing odor dissipated. Once the odor level was acceptable, but still not totally gone, I had my son use it. He had a horrible night's sleep and woke up several times complaining that his ear hurt. I tried it the next night, and I had the exact same situation. The pillow caused my neck and the side of my face resting on the pillow to hurt. I have not used the pillows since, and Natura will not accept them back for any type of refund. I now have a very expensive pillow sitting on my closet floor and I am very unhappy about the waste of money. I do not recommend the Natura shredded latex pillow!

Ok, I keep my house pretty chilly in the winter (55 deg.) as I really hate a hot house. Over time I have become acclimatized to a cool house and prefer to wear warm clothes inside. That being said I do find when watching TV my legs and feet do get a bit cool so I bough the Throw.

Overall I was somewhat disappointed. I found that putting the throw on from the front uncomfortable. If you leave your seat it drags on the floor and tends to fall off. It would have been far better I there was far more shoulder length between the sleeve, making it easier to put on. When sitting it is very warm and the sleeves keep your arms warm also. Since I was already wearing a heavy flannel shirt, this was not needed. I found it was easier to fold it over and throw it over my legs and feet. So just a small throw blanket would have been better for me.

I think for those of you that keep your house at 62 deg. or more and wear maybe wear a short sleeve shirt the Comfy Throw would be ideal. I found it very easy to wash as long as you follow the manufacture's washing instructions and I would suggest washing it as soon as you get it and use a fabric softener to remove it's static electric properties, which can be annoying.

My main reason for the 3 star review was the narrow shoulder width.

The Comfort Revolution Memory Foam & Hydraluxe Cooling Bed Pillow arrived beautifully packaged in great condition. The odor associated with foam pillows was not very strong and soon went away after proper airing. The pillow starts out wonderfully cool and I had high hopes that this one would actually work. The pillow slowly lost its cool over a period of hours and by morning seemed hotter than my "old regular memory foam pillows". I will keep this one and enjoy the cool I do get and hope that someday I will find one that "stays cool all night".

I found this pillow at a very discounted price at our local Costco in June, 2012 (so shop around!) Yes, it does smell. Yes, you need to follow the directions that came with the pillow. It needs to air out for 72hrs. I'm sensitive to smells, so I gave it a week. It comes with its own pillowcase and that's the one you have to use, otherwise you won't get the cooling effect. This pillow is so fantastic for summertime! I sleep on my side and my husband sleeps on his back. We both got a pillow and both love it. My quality of sleep improved dramatically. Best pillow I've ever owned, hands down.

I cannot say enough good things about this pillow. It is like sleeping on a cool marshmallow. Contours perfectly to my neck so it stays straight whether I'm on the side or back. Don't be alarmed if it smells a bit chemical-ish when it first comes out of the box. It just needs to air out a bit and it will dissapate. Awesome product.

I too bought mine at Costco. I must say I also read the directions, left it in a well ventilated area for 72 hours. NO smell at all. My head is no longer hot at night. This is the most comfortable pillow I have ever slept on and I am not exaggerating.

My husband bought one after we tried mine first. Same thing no smell after airing out.

I have back and neck injuries, so a good pillow is a necessity for me. This one came highly recommended by a TV doctor, so I thought it would be fabulous.

The cooling gel is very cool....for about 5 minutes. Then the pillow soaks up your body heat and holds onto it. I had to move my head around constantly to find the cool side. Not cool. Maybe I just have a really heavy head, but it also flattened during the night. No support at all.

I'm not sure where all the rave reviews are coming from, but I finally gave up after about 3 months of waking up in a pool of sweat. My boyfriend only used his for 3 days, and I think that was just because he didn't know how to tell me it sucked. This pillow does not do what it says it does. I've used memory foam for years, but never had this kind of issue.

I love the initial coolness of the gel, but until they can find a way to make that feeling last, this pillow is a waste of your hard earned money.

I thought these would be soft memory foam but instead they are hard as a rock. They are probably the most uncomfortable pillow I have ever laid on. My husband has back problems so I thought these would be great to go in between his back and the couch since they are "memory foam" and memory foam is usually super mushy and comfortable. NOPE. These aren't, on top of that they are very small, much smaller than what I would imagine them being by the pictures. From now on I will make sure to read the measurements on pillows!

The pillow was exactly what I was looking for. Firm enough to give support for my legs, which was a difficult search! Has not flattened after more then two months of use. The size was perfect for a queen sized bed. Not so big that it squeezed out my partner, or so long that it could not be moved around. I can see how a pregnant person would love this with the extra pillow for back. I did not need this since I bought it mainly for support. I cut the two apart and use them that way. They both come with zippered pillow cases that are easy to get on and off, no shrinkage and the price was great. I bought this set as a stark contrast to my traditional bedding that I've always done... this has a slightly more modern flare compared to what I'm used to, which I'm enjoying. The chocolate brown is pretty standard and the blue is a unique, ice blue, but again, this color scheme is popular at every store. I'm very pleased with how tailored and luxurious it shows and would definitely recommend it!

The duvet cover has good quality, the color is a little more green than it shows in the picture, or at least in my computer, but an issue is that it wrinkles easily, I don't really mind this, but if you need this to be pristine, you will have some work to do.

First, let me say that I sleep primarily on my side. My usual pillow didn't ever stay in one place...kind of slipped around during the nite.

And I sure didn't want to pay a high price for just a pillow...man, a pillow should be about 15 bucks.

I did some research and this pillow came up a bunch as being recommended so I decided to try it.

Let me say...this sucker is a BIG pillow...and HEAVY. Gotta find a giant pillowcase for it. I was a little intimidated by this monster.

But, when I put it on the bed...it was long enough for a partner to snuggle up to and not hog all the pillow, if you know what I mean.

So, I have to say, after sleeping on this for a few nights, I found that I didn't toss and turn, and I slept better.

I gotta admit...in the end, pretty cheap for a great nite's sleep.

I originally bought 2 of these pillows for my brother for Christmas. I had them delivered to my parents house so they could wrap them for me. My mother fell in love with them so much just by the weight and feel of them while she was wrapping them, she begged me to order 4 for her for her 2 king size beds. I did. Both my brother and my parents raved so much about them I ordered one for my husband and one for myself. I have never had a better pillow. It is the first time in years I have slept with only one pillow through the night. They are heavy enough to knock someone over if you ever had a pillow fight thats for sure lol They fit in the pillow cases that come with a regular set of queen size sheets and I cant say enough about mine. This pillow works fine for me. I struggle with pillows not having proper neck support. Either they are to flat and offer no support or too fluffy and still flatten out with very little support. At the end of the day I need a pillow that will support my 200lb body and give my neck support. I've tried $10 pillows and I've tried $100 pillows with very little success. I tried of couple of other so-called memory foam pillows and returned them.

It's the best pillow I have found to date. I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars because I don't think it's absolutely perfect. There should be a better pillow out there but, I have not discovered it yet (maybe my expectations are unrealistic).

If you are considering purchasing this pillow as an inexpensive alternative to a real Tempurpedic, keep looking. This isn't it!!! I have a Tempurpedic mattress and pillow so I have something with which to make a comparison. This is not memory foam. To call it memory foam is misleading and actually deceptive. It is extremely hard and firm and does not mold to my head the way my Tempurpedic does. It is uncomfortable and too thick. The bottom line it is totally useless. The sad thing is that I am stuck with it because it is not returnable. I bought this pillow to try to save money. In the long run it will cost me $40 more to buy a real Tempurpedic pillow because I wasted that amount on this pillow. If you really want the benefits and comfort from a Tempurpedic, buy a Tempurpedic. That is what I should have done in the first place. That is what I have to do now. This is a terrible product, a total waste of money!

I need this gel roll for cold neck therapy. It really is great for migraines too. I got the large one, which is too big for me, but my husband was really impressed with it for him. The roll stays cool for hours. Only suggestion for change would be to use a bigger plastic zipper storage bag for the freezer, the one that is included isn't a thick enough plastic and the opening isn't quite big enough to slide in easily. I was given this pillow by my Chiropractor for neck pain. I found the pillow stays plenty cold enough if kept at room temperature. But I recently found a new use for it. I have a desk job, sit 12hrs a day without opportunity for a break. Needless to say, my back is in excruciating pain by the end of the day! Leachco Snoogle Chic Total Body Pregnancy Pillow with Easy on-off Zippered Cover - Sunny Circles

I bought this pillow after reading extensive reviews of other Snoogles. I specifically wanted the "easy" zip-on/off cover, even though it's not the most attractive pattern I've seen.

Pros:

The cover was indeed pretty easy to put on.

The pillow supports me well, though I suspect I will also need a small wedge under my belly as I move into the third trimester. I can use it with my back to either side, depending on my mood/ desires for support.

It's big, but not too big for a couple in a queen bed. My husband even likes to snuggle up to the back of it.

Cons:

The cover is too tight in one place -at the inside edge of the top curly-q. Others have commented on this in other Snoogle reviews. What this means is that there is a taut, hard seam on that inner edge, and it could easily dig into your neck or shoulder depending on how you sleep on the pillow. I tried to massage the pillow around to distribute the filling differently, but it didn't help. And it just gets worse with use, it seems. I think the cover is just too short there. I don't think I could relieve the tension just by restitching the seam -I'd probably have to lengthen the cover with an insert there.

The material is not very soft. It's not bad, but it's not great, either, and requires careful washing in cold water and drying on super-low heat, if at any at all.

Overall, I sleep much better with this thing, so I give it 4 stars. But that darn seam is very frustrating!

EDITED TO ADD: The cover pills like mad after only a few washings!

I got the Snoogle 3 weeks ago when I was 26 weeks. I was having back aches every day, had trouble sleeping and would catch myself always waking up on my back, which I was trying to avoid due to the safety advisories that the heavy belly would more and more heavily press onto vital organs.

The Snoogle exceeded all expectations. The first couple of nights where a little awkward. The pillow seemed too "high" up and I wasn't sure how to arrange myself with it.

But it got more and more comfortable already after 2-3 nights. It flattened out just a little bit so that it doesn't prop my leg and head up too high and my body got used to the positions.

It's now a gift from heaven. My backaches have gone completely, I enjoy lying sideways and look forward to going to bed every night. When I have trouble sleeping, at least I'm comfortable so I don't mind. I just read a book for 30 mins or so being cozy in my Snoogle when my little one starts dancing in the middle of the night.

I use the pillow in both sideways positions with the closed side in front of me and curled behind me. I still sometimes wake up lying on my back but overall it doesn't seem to be a problem anymore.

This really worked for me and I recommend women with similar issues to give it a try. Don't toss it out when it doesn't feel great the first night. The pillow and your body need to adjust! Stick to it for 2-3 nights and it might just be a lifesaver for you too....

BTW: the disappearance of my backache it truly miraculous to me. I had a herniated disk a couple of years back, continuously struggle with back pain so I was expecting to suffer pain at least throughout my later pregnancy. I am so thrilled that the Snoogle has completely eliminated this for now. I will probably continue to use it after my pregnancy since my back responds so well to it.....

This is the first review I've written in Amazon. I've found that as an expectant mommy the reviews that other customers post is extremely helpful in finding items for the baby. So, why not give back and help someone else out in the process.

I never thought I would ever have a need for a pregnancy pillow until I hit my fourth month of pregnancy. I researched several brands and pillow types for over a month and finally settled on this one. It is a great size in our queen sized bed and fits my 5'1" frame. I also have a place to comfortably rest my free arm as well when I'm sleeping on my side. The first night I used it was the first night of complete, restful sleep in a month. I also use this pillow when I'm sitting on the couch as sort of a head/arm rest. It's wonderful.

True, the casing smells a bit funny when it first arrives, but a quick wash and it's just fine. I read a lot of reviews regarding the zipper and non-zipper issues. The zippered cover is definitely the route to go. It makes it very easy to put remove and put the case back on.

This a great purchase that has made my nights much more bearable.

I am currently almost 5 months pregnant and I purchased the Snoogle at about 4 months. It truly has helped me with the back pain that I was having already. I believe the thickness of the pillow to be the key for relieving my back pain. I have tried sleeping with regular pillows between my knees and never had any success. I can't speak yet for this pillow in terms of offering support for my belly as I am not yet large enough for the pillow to do anything. My only issue is that this pillow is one-size-fits-all with no length options. I am not quite 5'4" and the pillow is a little long for me and I do have to curl it around me a little to get it adjusted. All together though, despite the high price for a pillow, I love the Snoogle.

Beyond Down Gel Fiber Side Sleeper Pillow

I'm allergic to down so I have to order hypoallergenic types of pillows. I ordered one of these to try since it was on sale for 12 bucks. I liked it right away but you really have to sleep on a pillow a few nights to see how it fares. After a a week trial, I decided that I liked it so I ordered more. After a months I'm still pleased. The pillow gives good support without being too firm. I fall asleep quickly and have no neck pain in the morning. Now that it is getting warmer, I especially appreciate that the gel fiber seems to stay cooler than a regular pillow. If I wake up hot, I flip over the pillow and it is noticeably cooler than my old pillows. I've spent a lot more on pillows that I did not like as well. I recommend these for every bed, esp at Amazon's bargain price!

I am glad I got this pillow at the bargain close-out price. I got a reasonably decent pillow at a reasonably decent price. However, this pillow is nothing to get excited about. After sleeping on it overnight, I woke up to find it compressed just like any other pillow I've used. After fluffing it for a few seconds, it returned to its original shape. If you qualify for free shipping like I do, then purchasing this item is not a bad deal. But don't expect any miracles. I'm still waiting to find the pillow of my dreams.

I have a real hard time finding side sleep firm pillows that aren't either bricks or flattened within a couple months. Saw this while surfing Amazon and gave it a try last fall. It's awesome! It's heavier than normal pillows, firm but pliable so I can tuck my arm under it and still feel comfy all night. Holds it shape great. Even washes great. (cold water only!!)

Love it so much I tried the body pillow version but it's a standard fill, not a side sleep fill, so it's not as poofy. Body pillow is a 3-1/2 star gig but this side one is definite 5 star. Just bought one to stuff in the carry on bag for my frequent trips too (doesn't like to be stuffed much but God bless space bags).

A few have mentioned that the gel fiber is cooler in the summer and that's true also. When the night sweats hit, I just flip the pillow and OOhAAh, nice cool poofy pillow under my head again so I can get back to sleep.

Give it a shot...at $12 is worth a try.

I have always had a problem finding the right pillow. I have purchased the expensive down pillows and the pillows filled with buckwheat. I have even tried almost every version of the foam pillow. Not until I found this pillow did I realize what it is like to get a good nights sleep. The feel of the pillow is not exactly like down it holds up better then down and therefore gives the support needed for side sleepers. I highly recommend this pillow. The price is right and the pillow is great!!! I am tempted to try the body pillow. By the by I have been using the pillow for the past 8 months. I have purchased pillows in the past that I thought were my answer to the "pillow dilemma" only to find that after 4 weeks or less the pillow did not hold up. This is not the case with this pillow. Some of Amazon's pillows, like this one, have suggested retail prices that stretch credulity. Supposedly this one retails for $79.99. It is currently selling for $39.99. If you are a regular Amazon shopper, you already know that prices can change from hour to hour. I purchased this for $14.54, which was somewhat more than it's worth, notwithstanding the claim. This is not even a down pillow; it's synthetic; I hasten to add that there is no smell. The cover is well made, and there is a fair amount of support in the pillow, i.e., it doesn't mash down. However, it's still just a $10 pillow in my estimation. The queen size is pretty close to king size; it fits into a king pillowcase with little room to spare.

September 12, 2011 update: Over time, this pillow has become very very soft and lumpy besides. There never was much support with this pillow, and now there is none.

I bought these a couple of inches larger than the pillow covers I have, based on everything I have read about how to order the proper sized down pillow inserts. But these pillow inserts are every inch they say they are... buy a 22" insert for a 24" pillow cover. Interior Linens is accurate when they say their inserts are 2" larger when does that ever happen? ;-D

They were also very helpful in my exchange for the proper size... but BELIEVE THEIR SIZING so you don't have to return.

The Pillow is to heavy. I was hopping to replace my bed pillows. I bought them in germany, they are softer and lighter and I believe the size has to be 28 by 28inches to fit my german pillow cases.
