Natura Organic Latex Pillow

I have tried at least 10 different pillows the past year due to a neck injury. This is the best pillow I have found so far. Not too soft, not too firm. It does take a week or more to "soften" up. You also should unzip the cover to air out the pillow for 24-48 hours prior to use.

This review is for the Natura shredded latex pillow. I could not find a review section for the shredded latex type of pillow and wanted to put one out on the internet for any other person looking for reviews on the latex pillow. I bought the Natura shredded latex pillow for my allergen suffering son. Once the pillows arrived, they had to be aired out for 2 weeks before the latex off gassing odor dissipated. Once the odor level was acceptable, but still not totally gone, I had my son use it. He had a horrible night's sleep and woke up several times complaining that his ear hurt. I tried it the next night, and I had the exact same situation. The pillow caused my neck and the side of my face resting on the pillow to hurt. I have not used the pillows since, and Natura will not accept them back for any type of refund. I now have a very expensive pillow sitting on my closet floor and I am very unhappy about the waste of money. I do not recommend the Natura shredded latex pillow!

Lenox Chirp Comforter Set, Blue

I bought this comforter set and absolutely love it. It is soft and absolutely gorgeous. Loved that it was part of the Lenox Chirp pattern. I also bought several throw pillows, the Euroshams, and the wastebasket and tissue holder from the bath set to coordinate.

Luckily, I've looked in about several stores for this set so I knew what I was getting myself into and got everything I wanted. HOWEVER, Amazon is not offering a very thorough description for this product. The set includes the comforter, two shams, and a bedskirt. This is pretty standard for a comforter set but not made clear by the picture. Its a current design (Winter 2010/2011) so the throw pillows and other accessories are available anywhere that sells Lenox bedding. Also, note that the bedskirt is not designed with slits for it to accommodate a footboard. This is an easy fix though but requires some knowledge of sewing. Also, the bedding is Dry Clean Only! I don't mind this but it can be a deal breaker for some people.

The colors are lighter and more muted than you typically see in the china or bath lines with the Lenox Chirp design. The comforter has very pretty embroidery of stems and leaves but the cute birds are only on the throw pillows which must be ordered separately.

An absolutely lovely comforter set. I've only had it about six weeks but so far it is holding up well even with a rowdy puppy who won't stay off the bed!

I have received a blue greenish comforter with couple of embroidered leaves on it, a bed skirt and 2 pillow cases with embroidered leaves.

Totally not what I have expected, I am very frustrated about the product. In the photo there is a nice blue comforter, 9 embroidered bird pillows, an entire set.

There was no description, I guess I shouldn't buy it without 1. a description, 2 customer's opinion...

I was expecting a pretty aqua-ish color like the picture here shows.....umm, no! It's more of a powder blue....very light, not bright at ALL like the picture!! They should not be able to sell this bedding the color it is with THIS picture they have on-line!! VERY DISGUSTED!!!!!!!

The design on the bottom of the comforter is all there is. I was hoping for a little more. I purchased this because I loved the shower curtain so much which I highly recommend. But I was slightly disappointed in this comforter due to the lack of design and the bottom skirt is trimmed with a dark orange color which you can not see very well in this picture. To make your comforter look as extravagant as the picture you will definitely need to purchase the throw pillows which are over priced at $75 a pillow. It would be better off buying the shower curtain and making numerous pillows for the quarter of the price. (I got the shower curtain at bed bath and beyond for $35). I purchased this comforter set off of ebay auction at half the price ... just fyi.

I am happy with this comforter set but wish they simply had more decorations accents similar to the shower curtain. The shower curtain is in an entirely different league compared to the comforter but that's my opinion.

We ordered this for a guest bedroom and it is very nice. Great quality, excellent soft fabric. One note----the package says "Dry Clean Only", so dont purchase thinking that this can be thrown in the washing machine. The photo is a little misleading in that you do not get everything pictured, so make sure you read the description closely---decorative pillows and smaller shams are not in the deal. If all you need is the comforter, 2 regular shams and bedskirt, it's a great buy.

We ordered this for our son who just started going to day care. we had high expectation on how thick the material is going to be to our disappointment its very thin. My wife had to improvise it and stick another soft thick layer to it. I Would recommend people to get one from a retail store it would be per expectation.

there are so many yo gabba gabba stuff that is overpriced and not even available. this is readily available, and the kids love it. there are some flaws, such as it doesn't hold up that well to machine wash (it gets alot of lint? stuck on the mat portion of the mat). but the blanket is holding up really well, and the kids love it. that's all that really matters. this is a good buy, but the regular yo gabba gabba fleece blanket is a better buy.

Disagree with previous reviewer-for 20 bucks, you get what you pay for, a very cute, clever, albeit not the thickest or lushest nap mat with commercialized characters. The package arrived quickly, but the quality is not up to par. Before washing the ink will have you waking up with gray skin. Took several cleanings to stop this, and after the washing the color had faded horribly. The white is now gray, and the black is also grey. The seems have started coming undone, and we now have loose strings all over. IDea is nice, but the quality is very porr. Overall very disappointed.

This cover was bought for me to help with potential bed bug problem. I have a twin and the cover is very baggy. Also, I have had this for less than 5 weeks and already this cover has 3 tears in it. I have covered those tears up with duct tape. A bed bug exterminator consultant inspected my area 2 days ago. He said that this cover was not very good. Also because it was so baggy. Well, I can definitely say it is not worth the money. If you're going for a bed bug protection, it's better to pay more than end up with tears in the cover. The material is like paper. The zipper area is so-so. And, that is where the 1st tear appeared (foot end). Then, I found another little tear at the head end. Then another little random tear. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Do not buy this. My opinion. Waste of money, production time and costs....what a waste.

I bought this at the local Kohls but found it is way cheaper here! This product works very well. I was freaking out because there were some kind of bugs (not big bed bugs) like tiny dots on our mattress which was only 2 years old. we were itchy and grossed out and stressed. How to solve? I did not want there to be any chance that bugs were getting on us. We agreed to try a bed bug mattress protector set to see if it worked before shelling out for a new mattress.

The mattress protector set was a bit tricky to put on, tricky like a duvet cover is, but you don't need help to do it (so chase all those ever wanting to help husbands and kids out of the room, right?) and the fabric is delicate but well made. It is cut so there's enough room to slide the mattress but then completely encloses the mattress snuggly when you zip it up, and it is bed bug rated microfiber. Because bed bugs are small enough to fit through stitching holes on a mattress, they can get through most fabrics and plastics and are only stopped by bed bug rated microfiber like this mattress protector. You can also tell this one is bed bug rated because the seams and the zipper all have an overlay/lining of the microfiber fabric (and velcro where needed) so the bugs can't sneak though the holes where they stitch the seams. The zipper is made of special coils bugs can't go through.

I was worried that a cheap solution (bed bug mattress protector) wouldn't actually work, especiallly if I got the least expensive of the bed bug mattress protectors (Sears has one for 199.99) I was worried this one especially would be ineffective. But it worked, great! Right away! So I can say, go for it, it will work even though it is inexpensive I am very impressed by this product. I don't usually write reviews, but an inexpensive effective solution to a very yucky stressful problem is something I want to get the word out on, since it seems to be an epidemic of bedbugs in America right now. Thanks Aller-ease, and amazon, for making it affordable to deal with.

The description states "100-percent polyester with 100-percent polyurethane laminate". That is true of the top part of the protector. It is indeed a soft polyester top with a film under it. However, the sides and bottom are made out of this thin, cheap feeling, paper-like material (package says polypropylene with polyurethane film). Even the way it is folded up in the package is done to hide the cheap, bottom material.

The bottom line It's poorly made and the advertisement is misleading. If you choose to purchase it, make sure you know what you are getting into. I don't expect this product to last very long. That's if I can manage to get it on the bed without tearing. I would definitely not purchase this again.

We bought several of these for a rental home but forgot to buy 2 for the sleeper sofas. The covers I bought originally (also from Amazon) were great, for some reason the 2 that I most recently purchased for the sleeper sofas were completely different, even though the description is the same etc...I don't know what happened but these 2 covers are paper thin, made of a completely different and extremely poor cheap quality.

4" 5lb. Sensus Memory Foam (Visco Elastic) Mattress Pad

This is a fine product.

There's a few things you MUST consider, I hope this helps you:

#1 Density. Density refers to the weight of the foam given a certain volume. It is measured in pounds per cubic foot or lb/ft3. As a rule, the higher the density, the firmer and more resilient (durable) the foam. There are exceptions to this rule, but that's for later. Generally speaking, a density of less than 3lb/ft3 is extremely soft, very low resiliency; it's bottom of the barrel stuff and should be bought as a super light-duty item (for your toy poodle's bed.) Foam with a density between 3lb/ft3 and 3.9lb/ft3 is marginal; expect it to be very soft and to wear out after a scant year of regular use. Densities of 4lb/ft3 5.3lb/ft3, you're into the better range; expect this foam to be soft to medium firmness and to last for 2 years of regular use (at the high end of the range, up to 5 years). Memory foam with a rating of over 5.3lb/ft3 is where the quality products are found; these products can best be described as medium-firm to firm and should last 5 years or more (you pay for what you get.) There's even an 8lb/ft3 foam on the market!(Good for the supportive middle layers of mattresses.) Some important notes: If you are a back-sleeper, I suggest a minimum of 5lb/ft3 memory foam; this will prevent sagging. Side-sleepers can get away with a softer density (4lb/ft3 is about the lowest I suggest for anybody.)

The firmness of memory foam varies greatly with temperature; a foam that is firm at 65 degrees can be squishy at 85; also, there are differences in manufacturing procedures that can produce very different firmnesses in different products of the same density. If you want to delve further, you'll have to go looking for yourself; the details are far too complicated for this post. lol

#2 Thickness. After you've chosen the density that suits you, consider the thickness. I'll keep this short; if you sleep on your back, go for about 2" and if you sleep on your side, go for 3". Don't get something too thick, you'll just get a hammock effect. (Higher density foams will be more supportive at any given thickness, so if there's a choice between thick and light or thin and dense, go with the latter.)

#3 The Underlying Structure. If your old mattress is uncomfortable, putting a topper on it will not improve the situation by much. Memory foam is made so that it takes the shape of whatever is underneath it. If you need a new mattress, buy one. Expensive band-aids are just that...band-aids. Here's a BIG hint: Use a 6" thick slab of traditional polyurethane foam as the base for your topper; this will be a smooth, firm base. Remember this is NOT memory foam, it's a dense version of what's in your sofa cushions. Using a density of over 2.5lb/ft3 is vital for a base layer. If you need a new mattress get this as your base. Here, I can't mention a particular website, but there are manufacturers that make this stuff: (you know how to Google it)

* EXTREMELY RESILIENT

#4 Cost. Many make the mistake of confusing the price of a particular item with its cost. Considering that very high-density (5.5lb/ft3 and up) polyurethane memory foam (all memory foam is made from polyurethane but not all polyurethane foam is memory foam) can easily last twenty times as long or longer than a low density foam, I don't need to explain how the "expensive" high-density products are anything but.

#5 The Break-In Period. Memory foam products will be their firmest when brand-new. After a break-in period of a few weeks, the foam softens significantly. So, when you first lie down on new memory foam, if it feels soft, you're in trouble; for after the break-in period, it will be much too soft. A memory foam product should be almost uncomfortably firm right out the box; give it time; after a few weeks, it gradually soften to the perfect firmness. If it's soft right out the package, SEND IT BACK!

I had my doubts, I must admit, about trying these memory foam toppers. The only thing that changed my mind was reading a recent GQ magazine in which Brad Pitt shared a few things he thinks every man needs to know. Among his tips was the following (I'm paraphrasing): "Buy yourself a 3" thick Tempur-Pedic mattress topper. Trust me on this one." Well, I decided to trust him, not sure why, but for some reason he seemed like he would know.

I found the Sensus after doing some research on alternatives to the very expensive Tempur-Pedic brand. Sensus seemed like a good compromise between "name brand" and "too cheap to be credible." It's made or at least marketed by Absolute Comfort On Sale. I got the densest foam they had in the 3" thickness, and ordered it straight from there, because they ship for free and included a mattress pad with the order, all for less than the listing here.

My wife and I installed it yesterday. (It arrived two days after I ordered it.) The package weighed about 60 lbs. We got it onto the bed and put on the mattress pad. I highly recommend you either buy the mattress pad directly when you order the mattress or that you buy one separately. It's an "Expand-A-Grip" mattress cover with 200 threadcount and filled with polyester down. It's manufactured by Louisville Bedding but evidently sold under a variety of different brands. I did a search on Expand-A-Grip mattress covers and found several that would work. I can tell you it's well-made and works great.

Well, my wife normally gets up at least three times a night. I don't but I do often wake up really early and have trouble falling back to sleep. Both of us slept the whole night and I can honestly say it's the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I am not one to exaggerate. It was worth every penny.

The density and thickness seemed about right to me. I would not recommend getting a lower density; this would cause your body to sink in further. I also think spending the money for a 4" thickness would be a waste, because with the 5lb density you never sink a full three inches, so the last inch would not be of benefit.

I am so glad I finally took the leap and that I did not pay for the name brand. If anyone reading this thinks I must be working for the manufacturer, read my other reviews and you will know that's not true. I absolutely recommend this product and hope you will take my advice. I think if more Jihadists would sleep on one of these babies maybe they wouldn't be so anxious to blow themselves up.

Scooby Doo A Scooby Mystery Sheet Set

These sheets have a cute design. however the material has a weird feeling to it, like it's fake satin or something. ALso, the design is only on one side of the top sheet, and the top sheet is white while the fitted sheet and pillow case are a greenish blue. My son has not slept on these sheets yet, but I am not sure he will like it, because of the feel of them.

My 5 year old loves them. They are decent quality, good elastic on the corners (I hate those weak sheets that come off with all his twisting and turning) so far have washed up nice and still look new.

The sheets are very nice, wash well, have deep pockets to fit the mattress better, but I was disappointed in one aspect. The finished edge of the top sheet is at the bottom instead of the top. The only way you can get it to be at the top is to make the bed with all the Scoobys upside down!

Pillow works great. Size, Cushion and cover soft and plush. If baby is squirmy, head will eventually roll from pillow as with my 2 month old. Would have been better if there was a long fabric attached to pillow so baby can lay on it and weight stabilizes the pillow under head. Could do without the ruffles as it sometimes bothers baby's neck.

I bought this for my son. It works well on him and his head fits right through the hole. It is machine washable. I hang dry after washing. Still looks the same.

The sheets are true to color, I think the tone on tone looks very elegant, I like how they feel (after a few washings) and they still look brand new. They were a little stiff at first, also they must be removed from the dryer immediately or they do wrinkle. Recommend you use a colorful pillowcase for the hotels so it does not get mixed up with hotel linens. It is smaller than the one I use at home but I found it worked perfect for my neck.
