My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle Shaped Pillow

Just converted from a toddler daybed to a full size bed *sniffle*. Got this and the pinky pie one like it to match DD's new full size comforter and sheets. They are soft like fleecy minky fabric or something and DD just loves them. I believe the tags said they are machine washable (correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a hectic week) so that's a definite plus.

My granddaughter loves this. My only complaint is that the one that was sent to me seems not to be stuffed enough at the neck and the head has a tendency to flop over. Still very cute, and this may not happen to anybody else.

I stay at Marriott hotels quite often and love their pillows, so was happy to see these that I could have at home. These are totally unlike any pillow I've ever used in a Marriott and in fact, they're the only pillows I've ever used that have caused inflammation in my neck. I don't recommend this pillow at all!

So, I too became an instant fan of the pillows at the Marriott I stayed at, best night's sleep I ever got! I usually toss & turn a lot before I can actually get the pillow comfortable enough to fall asleep. Those pillows were phenomenal! These....are not those pillows. The first night, they were pretty close, but still noticeably not as comfortable. They have a decent amount of down stuffing, however despite the nightly fluffing required, they still deflate through the night and require constant repositioning (if you want neck support anyway.) I ordered two, one for myself & one for my husband, now I am using both and it is still inadequate and definitely Not worth the money! Had these actually been the ones from the Marriott, I would say worth every penny, but they are not. Unless you like more pillow behind your head than under it and no neck support, you will disappointed.

Terrible pillow. I have purchased 6+ Pacific Coast pillows from Costco and loved them! But this one is painful. First, the description said it is a down surround pillow. I realize that I may not have understood "down surround" meaning that it is a combination of down and feather. Had I known this, I would not have purchased it. Chillgel Original Cool Slumber Pad

This works for about 15-20 minutes, then the gel begins to equal your body temperature, and you spend the rest of the night sleeping on hot plastic, not an ideal way to keep cool. I still woke with sweat stains on my pillow. I do not recommend these gel pillows for an all-night cool.

I just bought this item and was skeptical. It works. I have not ever come across any time like this.

Bought the Chill Gel Slumber Pad hoping that it would keep the pillow much cooler so I could sleep better. It works in a fashion I suppose as it does dissipate your body heat but I actually need it to stay colder than it does. So basically if you aren't looking for something to keep your pillow cold then this is a good pad for your pillow.

I gave this a 4 Star because I do like it. However, a word to the wise before you buy, it's very cold on the face and ear if you are a side sleeper like myself. Now if you sleep on your back it's feels good on the neck though still cold to the head. I think it would be wonderful if you had a temp. When I saw this, I thought it would be great for occasional night sweats, and because it says 'cool'...it's Cold!

Space Bag Vacuum-Seal Storage Bags, Set of 3

If you've ever had a TV in your house, changes are you've seen the commercials for space bags. If you watch a lot of home improvement shows like I tend to, then you've probably seen the commercials more times than you can count. The adverts claim that this wonderful product can fit all your winter clothes or bed linens and after zipping shut the space bags and vacuuming out the extra air, you'll have 3 times as much room.

I bought this because it seemed to be too good to be true. I found space bags available at a local kitchen supply store that had a section for "As Seen on TV" items. I picked up a 2 pack which I believe held 1 large and 1 jumbo bag; however, I am not positive because space bags come in every combination possible!

I wanted to repack my items in a safer package and space bags claim to be waterproof, insect and animal proof as well impervious to oxidation (which spreads stains and lightens colours) and mildew. I figured that even if the space saving aspect of the bags wasn't effective, I'd have an everything-proof bag to protect my linens and clothing.

The good news is they work! You can fill the bags and vacuum all the air out and it will look like.. well, the air has been all vacuumed out and greatly reduced in size, a bit like freeze dried food.

The bad news is you have to be extremely careful with space bags or a seam will rip. I had been zealous in stuffing my first space bag (a large size?) and after zipping it up applied just a bit of pressure a burst a seam near the zipper without actually realizing it.

While space bags may be everything-else-proof, they are certainly not safe from human error. Reviews across the internet point out that this seems to be a common issue with space bags; in fact, many customers purchased space bags to find that the seams were already ripped.

All this aside, I now to be more careful next time and if that were my only issue, I'd still love space bags.

The worse news is the space saving feature really only works with certain types of linens and soft items: the light and fluffy type. So while jackets, pillows, and comforters will compress nicely, towels, jeans rugs and any type of thicker/heavier item will not because it isn't full of 'extra' air. You'll still be protecting these items from rats and mildew but it will take up as much room as it normally would.

The worst news is that the sizes are ridiculous. I was happy with my large bag, it worked well for me to tuck into a corner, place on a box or hide under a bed for storage but the jumbo sized bag was so ridiculously large that it just wasn't practical.

Even if you could neatly organize your items (which you can't!) in the bag, and vacuum so it took up 100% less room, you'd still be left with an airtight bag the size of a medium dog and with a very difficult shape to store as most space bags do not have a flat bottom. Couple that with the slippery package and you have one giant space bag that it now going to stay where you put it.

The bright side is that you don't need to purchase such large bags and I might have been spared the mistake if I'd read the dimensions. There are also cube space bags which might work better for stacking and staying in place as well.

I think I had a fairly typical experience with space bags. The fragile seams rip for many customers and other customers also have issue with vacuum attachments not fitting snuggly (although I didn't have any problems with that myself).

One last issue I am concerned about but didn't have a chance to test was that of re-inflating. The space bags site warns customers to be careful when moving and handling airtight space bags because this could cause the bag to re-inflate, especially if it is handled near the zipper.

Several customers on Amazon have reported their space bags re-inflating after only a short time. Since the seam tore on the large bag and i re-inflated and the jumbo bag was much too big and bulky to even warrant vacuuming out the extra air, I have not been able to see if an undamaged space bag would hold with inflating again. It did seem that the large bag helf for a bit even with the tear, however.

Overall, I was surprised that space bags did seem to do what the commercials claimed and I think an undamaged space bag in small, medium or large or a cube would work well for anyone who needs very secure storage. However, customers should be wary that bags sized extra large and above are bulky and inconvenient. Also, the seams easily tear so one should take care to not overfill the bags or apply pressure before vacuuming.

I was a little skeptical because other people who reviewed the product had problems with air leaks, but they worked wonderfully for me! My fiance and I just moved to Oregon from Illinois and we fit all of our clothes and bed set into two sets of these bags. Wow! (I have a LOT of clothes!) You can cram so much in and the vacuum really helps shrink it down. It saved so much space in our already full car. We wouldn't have been able to bring it all without them. I'm excited about using them again to travel!

I really needed these bags to work because I have a small house with little storage space. I was so excited when I got these and I used a large bag for a comforter that my husband refuses to give up.

At first, after I carefully folded and placed the conforter in the bag, sealed the bag and vacuumed the air out, we were amazed at how compact the comforter became! I read the reviews and noticed only a handful of positive reviewers that stated that the negative reviewers had not used the bags properly and I thought they were right because I had used mine properly and it worked!

Well, as soon as I picked the bag off of the ground, carefully, the seal was undone and the bag was full of air.

Excellent concept, but these bags do not work; at least they did not for me!

My wife and I bought 2 sets. Only two of the bags kept the vacuum seal. The rest either leaked, or worse yet, split apart. These cheap things split under the zip lock seal, despite having a reasonable amount of clothing inside. Good idea, but terrible quality. Plastic is so cheap, it makes me wonder why they didn't bother to make the things a little thicker. I hope a word to the wise is sufficient in this case. I'd hate to see anyone else waste money on this product without being warned off.

Space bags are adequate for travel. If you have to pack a lot of items in limited space, these will work. The travel ones in particular are better for this purpose these are the ones you roll up to remove the air. The vacuum ones are fine if you have access to a vacuum when it's time to pack for home. They'll generally hold their seal while you're traveling and for the duration of your average business trip or vacation.

These are LOUSY for storage, however, especially seasonal or long-term storage. They hold a seal for a few weeks to maybe a month or two, no matter how carefully you follow the instructions, no matter how much air you vacuum out, no matter how 'understuffed' you pack them, and even if you don't touch them again once they're sealed. The air WILL eventually find its way back in and what you'll have as another reviewer put it is just another giant Zip-Loc bag.

You can get the same effect for much less cost using large or jumbo-sized Zip-Loc bags. And given that I've had the same success with Zip-Loc bags for traveling that I have with SpaceBags, I can't even justify the price for travel-sized SpaceBags.

Pillow Decor - Metallic Birds Desert Sand Throw Pillow

I was very disappointed that I received this pillow with only gold metallic birds on it! The picture on your site shows multi-colors. It would have been a perfect match with my living room furniture because it shows red birds, yellow, etc. on the site. I kept it anyway as I no longer have the packing slip or box in order to return it. This was a relatively expensive pillow. I have ordered others and they are fine, but when I saw this one online, i thought it was my fvorite, and I couldnt wait to receive it, only to be upset that there were no colors, except gold, and it doesnt match my decor.

Fatboy Junior Bean Bag

A lot of the images of these chairs show them standing upright, with a child or adult comfortably leaning into them. I've just received two junior Fatboys ordered online, and I can tell you there is no way you can position this so it sits solidly upright, such that a child can lean into it. Unless you place it against a wall, but that's not how it's shown anywhere on the promotional pictures. You'll notice none of them show the chair in profile with a person sitting in it, because that would give the game away.

Another negative is that after 12-18 months of usage you need to refill the chairs as the beads inside settle. The filling costs $50 for a half bag, and $100 for a full size. Do you really want to be making that kind of regular investment in a beanbag that was expensive to begin with?

My children are two and three years old, so it's not like they're too big for the junior chair.

We're now stuck with two oversize pillows on the ground. These are not chairs.

The Fatboy is a high quality bean bag chair.

Its fabric covering is made of some sort of very tough, very slick synthetic fiber fabric.

It feels like it won't break, stain or damage easily.

Unfortunately, we wanted a bean bag chair with a more traditional warm and soft covering. The Fatboy is definitely not a snuggly bean bag chair, so we had to return it.

It's probably a great choice for customers who aren't looking for that snuggly quality, however.

Much nicer and much thicker than other nap mats we looked at. The other mats were more like sleeping bags. My 18 month old loves it and takes 2-3 hour naps daily on it at his daycare! Highly recommend.

My tall three and a half year old sleeps very well on it and just loves it. It is also easy to wash. He might not be able to use it as comfortably beyond another year or so, but for the price I am very satisfied. His teachers like it as well. Our only dissatisfaction is that we can't figure out how to snap it closed when rolled with the pillow inside it appears the handle was placed in the wrong location, necessitating you to roll it up without the pillow, then hook the pillow around it separately, making it dangle awkwardly when carried. Bought this (and a pink one for my girl) when we had our first overnight trip away from home planned. We played with it at hime for a while when it first arrived, and my 4 year old boy LOVED laying down on it to watch tv. Then when time for the trip came, he slept on it without any problems. Pillow works well for him...only thing I did was take along an extra blanket, as the one attached isn't big enough for overnight sleeping.

Everythign is easy to roll up and take along, and is super soft.

My son just started at a new daycare that doesn't provide sheets during nap time, so I bought this nap mat for him to put on his cot. He absolutely loves it. The memory foam is really comfortable, and the pillow is just the right size for his little head. His teacher even asked me where I got the nap mat because she said it's the nicest one of any of the kids in his class. We've even used it in the pack and play when we're traveling because the pad in the pack and play is so thin and uncomfortable, and this mat really helps.

One warning: this nap mat is designed and sized for toddlers. If you have an older child, you should get something bigger. My son is 3 feet tall and 35 pounds and I think this will last him at least a year, if not longer.

Spine Reliever Deluxe Body Pillow

Before buying this pillow, I was the happy owner of a 5 foot long body pillow. Alas, my old pillow was filled with down, and the little feather tips were constantly poking out through the ticking fabric.

I find this pillow to be more comfortable since it's not stuffed with down. It's also an easier size to deal with when not in use.

It's deep enough so that my knees really sink into it, very important. Some body pillows just don't have enough stuffing; after a few nights, they're flat!

I highly recommend this pillow. I rarely rate items but took a moment out to create this review in case it helps out other people with sleep problems.

I received this Buxnie Jobri Body pillow from them 2 days later than expected. I understand these things happen. However, they sent me a dirty pillow. Will return with an updated review after I have used it for some time....

I have now used this pillow for a few months. To be fair, the Shipper did attempt to reach me and rectify the situation and send out a new pillow. I had already washed the dirty one I had originally received, so I decided to keep it.

That being said, the description states that the pillow is a cover encasing the poly fiber fill. It is the same poly fill you would find in stuffed animals and sometimes other pillows. I also purchased a real pillow cover to go over it. Be warned though: if you are planning on washing the cover, you will have to remove ALL of the poly fiber fill. It is a time consuming task and the poly fiber fill gets EVERYWHERE, including the floor, clothing, furniture, etc. There is a clean-up afterward since it can not be avoided to wash the cover. Apparently the poly fiber fill IS machine washable, however, a standard home washing machine will not be able to handle a huge 65 in. long body pillow to do the job. I am not sure if an industrial one may, but lugging it to Laundromat would be a pain. Also, it would probably pricey to send it to the dry cleaners.

Since I have been using the pillow for 3 months now, there are some additional issues to point out. The pillow is comfy and provided adequate height for me to sleep on my left side during pregnancy. However, after a couple weeks, the poly fiber fill began to lose its fluffiness and height. It became flatter and flatter. So I went to Michael's and purchased some more Poly fill for $9 or so. I added 1 bag of poly fill, and that seemed to do the trick. After a couple more weeks, it began to lose its height and get flat again. I am considering buying more poly fill and stuff it even more so it stays fluffy and provided adequate lift.

It is a super comfy pillow when it is filled and is comfortable to stay in a side sleeping position during pregnancy. I still wonder if there are any body pillows out there that do not have this problem though.

After having this Jobri pillow for two months, I noticed the filling beginning to deteriorate significantly. Up near the ends it was still firm, but in top and bottom 1/3 and in the middle, it was so loose and saggy it might as well have been a regular ol' pillow (and there's no way to shake it fuller/adjust it etc). After four months, it might as well be a wadded-up blanket. Rather than spend the $50-60 on a replacement pillow, I just went to Target and bought their $9.99 body pillow. It's not perfect if you lay it flat, but lay it on its side and, well, you have the same effect as a new Jobri spine-reliever deluxe wahoo whatever pillow.

I will say that the length of the Jobri pillow is nice (I'm 5'11" and can still hug it up front and down by my feet). The roundness is nice, because it helps the inevitable shoulder pain of a hyper-extended reach. But all of these things are easily solved by the Target Body Pillow, set on its side. For $9.99. And as soon as it starts to go limpy, you can easily buy a new one.

I would never again pay any more than $10 for this Jobri pillow. What a bother. Buy the Target pillow. I'm smacking myself for not doing that sooner.

I bought this pillow after an Amazon search for a Jobri Spine Reliever Deluxe. I've only had the pillow for a short time. The pillow I received is the correct size and shape and seems as if it might fill the bill, but I don't believe it's an actual Jobri brand Spine Reliever Deluxe. I've had previous experience with Jobri, and this pillow has none of the hallmarks (wasn't in a Jobri bag, has no brand label at all on the pillow or on the plastic bag it was sent in, and no Jobri warranty). I doubt I would have paid this much if I'd understood it wasn't a Jobri, but it's a big hassle to return, so I'll keep it and hope it lasts and works for the purpose for which I bought it. It was shipped quickly and very well packed, so no complaints about delivery.

Scooby Doo A Scooby Mystery Sheet Set

These sheets have a cute design. however the material has a weird feeling to it, like it's fake satin or something. ALso, the design is only on one side of the top sheet, and the top sheet is white while the fitted sheet and pillow case are a greenish blue. My son has not slept on these sheets yet, but I am not sure he will like it, because of the feel of them.

My 5 year old loves them. They are decent quality, good elastic on the corners (I hate those weak sheets that come off with all his twisting and turning) so far have washed up nice and still look new.

The sheets are very nice, wash well, have deep pockets to fit the mattress better, but I was disappointed in one aspect. The finished edge of the top sheet is at the bottom instead of the top. The only way you can get it to be at the top is to make the bed with all the Scoobys upside down!

This pillow was purchased for my husband who suffers with a bad neck including fused vertibrea . The pillow isn't quite firm enough and is very expensive or it would get 5 stars instead of 4 . Lewis N. Clark Adjustable On Air Neck Pillow

So I bought this air pillow after seeing all the positive reviews. I agree with the reviewers on a couple of things: the inflatable factor is very important while travelling so I dont have to carry a bulky load with me, this pillow is very easy to inflate (few light blows of air is all it takes) and deflate (the "on" button works like magic) as well as to fold and put away in its soft carry case.

My gripes however are with the comfort factor. I feel it doesn't support my neck quite enough on the sides, and i wish it had a way to hold the two ends of the "U" shape together. I feel like I have to lean against something just to hold the pillow on my neck, since it will otherwise fall off, and that could be prevented if the ends clipped together around my neck. Also, the behind-head inflation is too wide to rest your head back on a flight seat, so i had to wear it with the ends behind my head to get it to work. I mostly need support on the sides of my head above my shoulders, so the design of this pillow was not too impressive to me.

Will I carry it on my neck flight? Hmmm, not with great joy, I won't. It is easy enough to pack into your hand bag, but it certainly wasnt super comfortable, so I did end up having a neck pain when i got off the flight... So maybe, maybe not.

Works great, a couple breaths into the valve and it's fully inflated. A small button inside the valve quickly releases air to adjust for comfort or completely exhaust it.

It also folds compactly, has it's own soft case and does not take up much room in a carry-on. Very comfortable, not as comfy as a memory foam pillow but not as expensive or massively bulky as one either. Good price so no worries if it gets damaged or lost. Both my wife and I found it very pleasant to use on long flights.

We no longer take long trips without comfort accessories. We used to just bear it and deal with the discomfort and were just so drained at the end but take just one trip with a neck pillow, your own blanket, a travel pillow (for your head or lumbar support), soft eye shades and some ear plugs and/or a noise-canceling headphone set and you will never just bear it again. Really takes the edge off and you will feel much more energized and ready to roll when you get to your destination, no matter how silly you look all turtled up in your seat.

This is surprisingly easy to inflate, deflates pretty easily as well, and fits easily into its travel pouch, though I can never get it into the same shape as it was when it came to me. I used this in the car and slept well and comfortably for hours (not while driving, of course). I then took it onto a plane and found that it was great for most of the ride, but I had to re-inflate it a little bit a few times once we began our descent. It never lost any air during my lengthy car ride, so I suspect that the change in cabin prssure is what kept affecting it. If I'd decided to leave it at the level to which it had deflated, it still would have been completely fine, and for some people, just the level of cushion they want. I happen to like it being completely full of air and firm, though, and because it didn't stay so, this gets 4 stars from me instead of 5. Had I never flown, though, and only driven with it, 5 stars it would have been.

If you plan to use that little button to lessen the amount of air, do so very lightly as pressing on it even a little bit releases quite a bit of air rather quickly. And let's face it, this thing only costs 15 bucks, so it's not going to blow itself back up with that same little do-hickey which means that if you take too much air out of it, you'll have to take it off and blow into it again.

All in all, a great product, and I'm glad that I bought it.

I was hesitant to purchase an inflatable neck pillow since the one I used to have about 10 years ago wasn't that comfortable.

However, I didn't want to let a stuffed pillow take up space in my carry-on luggage, and I decided to try this product.

I'm grad I got it. The valve is awesome. You don't have to bite on the valve when you blow in the pillow. You can inflate the pillow with just a few light blows. The valve is located at the spot that your face/neck won't be touching. Also, the valve has a button that you can push to deflate the pillow, so you can easily adjust the firmness while you wear the pillow. Great.

I like the shape of the pillow, too. The back is narrower than the sides, so your neck won't be pushed too forward.

I have a severe case of one herniated disc in my neck level C4-5 and two bulging cervical discs below that. I have been living in constant pain for the past two years and totally dread travel, in a car and/or on an airplane. I have tried several kinds of neck pillows for travel, from micro beads to memory foams. Nothing worked for me because most of them were too bulky and too heavy. They cut right on the back of my neck and create excruciating pain that is worse than without a pillow.

The pillow is very smartly designed. It only took me (a petite 5'4", 110lb woman) three puffs to fill the pillow. To release the air is even easier. You just push the ON button and the air comes right out. It folds up to an about 5" X 7" thin pad that fits in a pocket which comes with the pillow. It is the most ingenious design for a travel pillow: easy to use and compact in size.

The pillow is very comfortable and soft to the touch. The cover comes with a zipper which allows it to come off for washing if needed. Unlike most of the neck pillows, the back of this pillow (at the curve) is skinny, which is PERFECT for people like me who have neck pain. (I can't take much pressure on my neck.) It is snuggly and very flexible because of the air. I have used it in the car since I got it a week ago. It helped relieve my neck pain during my driving. Besides me, my two young daughters have tried using the pillow and reported that they could nap better in the car during long car rides. They don't wake up in the car with a sore neck any more. Today, I am ordering three more of the same pillow: one for each in my family, for our upcoming trip to China.

I purchased two of these Laurel Burch pillows and really loved them when I opened the box and they looked great on my sofa. The problem is they loose their shape and flatten out in no time at all. This item is a WONDERFUL idea, and the on-the-go model is the perfect size for home (I don't know who would need the size of the original, larger sleep sheep it's enormous) and travel, but it has two key flaws:

1) there isn't a continuous play mode!! There are only two timed options, then the sound turns off. My newborn needed the sound maintained continuously to STAY asleep, not just to FALL asleep. Thus, we would have to keep pressing the button over and over, waking up ourselves when the sound would turn off to keep her from waking up beyond annoying.

2) the travel ("on-the-go") model does not have the heartbeat sound like the full size model does why? Otherwise, the sounds are the same as the full size model (waves, rain and whales). As the heartbeat is a KEY sound to have for a newborn, why on earth would THAT be the sound they substituted out on the travel model for a redundant "gentle stream" sound (could it be to get you to buy both sizes?!?)?

I gave it two stars because everything else is so wonderful and it has so much potential to be a fabulous product:

--the sheep is adorable, soft, and it is great to be able to hang it from ANYWHERE with the velcro loop. Plus, it is battery operated, which is a huge blessing (batteries are pre-installed, and are very long lasting we did not replace ours over three+ months of use).

--the way the sound "machine" is removable from the body of the sheep is ingenious. This way, you can wash the sheep and reinsert the machine when dry.

--LOVE the volume control: it's a dial, so you have complete control (not just low and high like so many children's products today).

--The rain sound is the closest to generic "white noise."

This product would be perfect with the 1) heartbeat sound in lieu of the 'gentle stream', which is redundant to the rain, imo, and 2)a continuous play mode.

Due to this, you are better off with Brookstones sound machine, which has not only timed settings, but continuous play, AND all the sounds you really need: heartbeat, in-utero (weird sloshing sound with "glub-glubs"), white noise, automobile and more. It's not cute and plush (and you have to plug it in w/ battery backup), but is WORKS.

For any parent who is raising a baby using gentle Happiest Baby on the Block soothing methods this "Sleepy Sheep" is a lifesaver. Babies really do respond to swaddling, being on their sides or stomachs, jiggling and "shush-ing" noise. We have used all of the white noises on this sheep and they all work to various degrees. We found the ocean sound to be closest to a parent "shssssh/shush" with breaths in between. Rather than shssssssh your lips off till your throat is bone dry, this Sheep does lots of the work for you and can be adjusted in volume for any ambient noise. Great item and did wonders for our little one's "4th trimester" She switches off like a light now when she recognizes the preparation and sheep sounds! Every new parent with a fussy baby should have this as a tool along with the Happiest Baby DVD!!! Great Item.

I got this because the "Happiest Baby on the Block" method, which includes using white noise, has worked very well with our son. I wanted something that was easy to turn on and off that could be kept by the crib. He loves his sleep sheep! He has even figured out how to turn the sounds on himself. It has 2 timer settings and four sounds. It is also very soft. I would definitely recommend it.
