Croscill Royalton Comforter Set

This comforter set is so beautiful you won't be disappointed! I searched for months and was thrilled when I came across this gem. It retails for $400+ in my local department store so this is a great buy on Amazon. The colors shown in the photo are not accurate though..it IS NOT light blue...it's more of a seaspray greenish-blue and dark brown.

The set has matching sheets that you can purchase but I have seem them first-hand and WOULD not recommend them (their thread count was low and they looked cheap). I took a sham from this set to the store with me and picked out my own sheets and throw pillows...now if I could just find a matching lampshade!

My husband and I debated the Croscill Royalton or the Croscill Galleria comforter sets. I then saw the Galleria in a department store, and was underwhelmed. It was OK but I wasn't in love with it. We ordered the Royalton and couldn't be happier!

This fabric pattern is woven, not printed, and looks like very high quality tapestry fabric. Heavy! The striped bedskirt adds a really cool masculine touch. The color is more a blue "mint" and chocolate (the blue in the pic isn't quite right). This set looks very expensive. Now my husband (who usually couldn't care less about this kind of stuff) wants to order the matching drapes.

I ordered this from Townhouse Linens for much cheaper, but it took 3 weeks for delivery. Worth the wait!

This is an absolutely gorgeous bed set!!. I saw it on line but wasn't sure if I wanted to order it. A few days later I saw the same set in a local department store for twice the money. After seeing it I rushed home to order it from Amazon. Definitely a good purchase. You won't be disappointed in this set. It is so rich looking, I love it!!

I'm a male. I feel like a royalty with this comforter on my bed. The colors are right at home in a masculine setting. The stitching is beautiful and anyone can and will appreciate it. I get compliments all the time.

I sleep without a topsheet, and my initial complaint was that the reverse side of the comforter uses a low thread count material that is somewhat rough. I noticed it immediately when I first moved from my old comforter, but now I find it comfortable enough. I don't know if it's the fact that it has softened up or that I have just become accustomed to it. I'm not sure how to describe the warmth, but I live a very warm climate and I find it comfortable year round.

Very impressed on arrival. Definatley a quality set as the other reviews have stated. I ordered site un seen. I was a bit disapointed in the brown backround. It is a very dark brown almost looks a bit blk. I was expecting a more chocholate brown. I also would have preferred a more cordinated backing to the comforter. It is not attractive if showing. My solution was to fold it way down and the fold it back up on itself. That way you only see the decorative side. Those 2 reasons got it a 4 star instead of a 5. The piping, material and fullness of the comforter show it is a quality set. On our tempurpedic mattress I sometimes have to order a king to reach low enough on the sides, This is not at all needed in this set.. Ample room to spare. I took the advise of another reviewer and ordered it from TownHouse Linnens. The price was just a bit cheaper but they also did not charge for shipping or sales tax. It did take several weeks on delivery. In summary it looks great on our bed and I'm happy with it.
