Duck River Textile Oakland 8-Piece Comforter Set

I want to rate this higher, because the design fits perfectly in my bedroom, but it arrived looking a little threadbare and worn. It was faded a bit and looked as if someone had boxed it up off of their bed and sent it to me. I was disappointed in the quality to say the least. That being said, after leaving negative feedback on the seller feedback page, I was contacted by the seller who told me I would be given a partial refund for removing the feedback. I removed it and Guess what? No refund. It is really too bad that I cannot put it back now that it has been removed. I will not buy from this seller again.

I spent weeks searching for a comforter set for my new bed that matches my bedroom decor. After going to store after store, I finally came across this set here at Amazon and thought it was going to be perfect... I was wrong.

On the positive side, The package came much faster than expected. Unfortunately, the delivery speed was the only thing I was pleased with. Now for the cons...

Here's a list of everything I'm unhappy about.

-Sub-par quality: Loose threads and stitching everywhere. Also very light weight

-Texture of comforter is much rougher feeling than expected.

-Silver parts have a bluish-green tint.

-Not nearly as "cushy" as it looks in the picture.

-Much smaller than expected. Queen size comforter barely covers my queen size bed... nothing like the picture.To sum everything up, I'm very displeased with this comforter set. It's going back as soon as possible.

When I first pulled this product out of the bag, I was a little disappointed. The material is slightly rough which is apparently what Faux Silk is. Also the colors were not exactly what I was expecting either but I put the set all together and it has grown on me. I do enjoy the comforter now. And it does look good in my bedroom although not near as good as the picture but then again, does anything look as good as the picture. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is not heavy and I am a fan of heavy comforters. If you get hot easily, this is a good comforter for you.
