14x14 Burgundy and Gold Stripes Brocade Decorative Throw Pillow Cover

Unfortunately, these will be useless for me because they are not 14" as stated in the title and description. Nowhere near. I've been covering my pillows with 14" pillow covers for decades, so I expected that these would be the same size as my existing 14" pillow covers. They are 13" and, probably because of the way they are made, I imagine they would fit nicely on a 12" accent pillow, but nothing larger.

Since 14" is such a standard size, I am surprised that they are so much smaller. Perhaps the pieces of fabric were 14" square before they were sewn together. That took a consierable amount away from the finished dimensions.

They don't show you this in the photos but they also don't have a nice hidden zipper along one seam. They have a big zipper that has a flap over it and is located a couple of inches from the seam along one side of the cover.

The two stars are for the fact that they seem to be well made and the pattern on the fabric is nearly straight as far as the pieces being sewn together. So they look nice. I just cannot use them because they are not the size that they say they are.
