After the first night, I was not impressed. It seemed awkward and each time I shifted during the night, I had to think about how I was supposed to position my head. I decided that one night was probably not sufficient test time for this pillow. I have slept on it 5 nights now and I really like it. The support for my back is great and just what I was looking for. The way that it wraps around my head makes me feel cozy and supported. I would recommend this pillow for any side sleepers out there looking for a different, more supportive pillow.I have plenty of trouble with my ears hurting during the night. I guess the cartilage in my ears is too stiff or something. I have been trying to "invent" a pillow with an ear hole by cutting a hole in some foam pillows, etc., and this is the first one I see marketed, so I tried it.
The ear hole is OK, although a bit small and oddly placed. The "tail" that supports your back is only on one side so that if you turn over, you also have to turn the pillow over to support your back.
My biggest complaint is that the pillow material is too hard, giving me jaw and cheekbone pain. So, basically, the pillow isn't being used much.
I'd like to see one made with softer material.

The past 9 years, I've had significant hand tingling, along with arm and shoulder pain. My physician diagnosed stenosis of my cervical spine---a narrowing of the space in my spine that pinches critical nerves going to my hand, arm, and shoulder. I've had to wear a soft cervical collar at bedtime, to get as much relief as possible, but the results have been so-so. On a pain scale of 0 to 10, I was still experiencing 3-4 pain on a daily basis. In August 2010, I saw the TV ad for the Sidesleeper Pro, understood its design concept, and decided to give it a try. Here are my results:1. I naturally sleep on my side. Because of the design of the Sidesleeper Pro, I was not able to wear my cervical collar at the same time. So I took a chance, and decided to sleep without my soft cervical collar, using only the Sidesleeper Pro. In my case, my medical condition did not mandate wearing the collar, but it helped relieve my symptoms, so I used it while sleeping. For YOUR medical circumstance, please use caution and common sense, especially before discontinuing the use of a brace or collar. Ask your doctor first.
2. After only 1 (one) night's sleep, I noticed a significant reduction in my tingling and pain symptoms---a pleasant surprise. Since the first week of using the Sidesleeper Pro, my symptoms have remained much more tolerable. Now, on a 0-10 pain scale, my arm and shoulder pain are seldom present. That's compared to 3-4 before using this product. The tingling is also reduced as well. So for me, the benefits have been remarkable, and quite frankly, unexpected. To be honest, many "TV" products have not lived up to their claims, but I'm really pleased with the comfort, and the benefits I've gained using this product. So thank you to the doctor that developed the Sidesleeper Pro.
Pros:
1. Affordable (about $40 with shipping---actually less using a special discount offer at the time I ordered).
2. An extremely comfortable, natural way for me to position and cradle my head while sleeping on my side.
3. Easy to remove pillowcase. Well made product, and the pillowcase zipper was sewn on well, with no loose threads getting in the way.
4. It works great for me---I travel with it wherever I go.
5. Extra benefit: It has a small depression in the ear area that helps keep my ear from getting crunched into the pillow. Not only that, my small pillow speaker nestles perfectly underneath the pillow, fitting right into the depression, making it totally comfortable to listen to my favorite music or late night radio broadcast, prior to drifting off to sleep.
6. The online video was helpful in explaining its use (no manual---see below).
Cons:
1. No way to delete the (inflatable) travel cushion which is automatically included in your order. I have no need for this extra product, and there's no way to delete it, so I'm paying for something I didn't need.
2. No way to order an extra pillowcase. Now THAT would be a useful product the company could either include as a free bonus, or make available as an item to order.
3. No written instructions included---only pictures printed on the box, which were self-explanatory. How about a concise, easy to understand instruction sheet, with photos?
My overall satisfaction is over 90%, and I have recommended it to my family and friends.I am a side sleeper and am constantly looking for a better, more supportive pillow. This pillow has promise for anyone over 5'6. I am 5'2 and my ear didn't come close to fitting into the ear hole and my neck was propped much too high for my shoulders. I think a taller person might find this to be perfect, but for anyone a bit shorter than average...save your money.

I LOVE this pillow. I have purchased many pillows and have spent quite a bit over the years trying to find something that will work for me. As another reviewer said, it does take a few nights to get used to...about three nights for me. Now I love it so much I bought a second just in case I have a hard time finding another later!I knew that I had neck stiffness and that the pillows I had been using did not help this. I had also had tense muscles in my neck/upper back/shoulder that was so bad that it required physical therapy. The problem was mostly alleviated with pt, but I would still get headaches often. I've been using this pillow for about a month now and the first thing I noticed was that I was not waking as often at night I was sleeping more soundly. The second thing I noticed is that I was getting fewer headaches quite a bit fewer. This was an unexpected bonus, but makes the pillow worth having just for that alone.
