**Update**I've had these sheets for almost a year now and here is my long term review: The fitted sheet started to pill about 2 months ago with about 1 washing per month (I have 2 sets, they would stay on the bed for 2 weeks then get washed and rotated). I am very disappointed that such "luxury" would not even last this long. They were great at first but the longevity was not there. Dropping from 4 to 2 stars because of this. I've had Shopko sheets that have lasted longer.

These sheets were very soft right out of the packaging and I was excited for a wonderful night's sleep. I washed them first (as I do with all fabric before I use it), following the instructions on the tag. They came out of the dryer very crisp and rough (I believe the instructions said to tumble dry on low heat) and I thought "Maybe they just need to "break in" a bit." Well, after three nights of scratchy, rough sheets they started to soften up, but not by much.
I washed them again 2 weeks later but instead of putting them in the dryer, I decide to let them air dry. Their softness returned right away. These are great sheets, very heavy and durable and if you air dry them they will be as soft as the day you bought them.
4 stars for the washing instructions not being accurate for best results. I can see many people thinking these sheets suck because of simple misinformation.
