I am a bit annoyed about this product. You will notice that the description claims to be odor free. This is not so, upon arrival they smelled like wet chicken. Imagine the smell of a wet dog, but with feathers. These pillows are also advertised to be 400tc. I foolishly thought that would mean cotton, but the description didn't say what type of fabric. Sadly, it is very thin 100% polyester. I put these pillows in the dryer to fluff them up and knock down the smell a bit. They came out of the dryer with feathers sticking out everywhere, but thankfully less odor. I won't be testing these out till I can find sturdy covers for them and make sure they have aired out sufficiently. Lesson learned. I should have taken the time to actually go shopping, instead of using the internet.
These pillows are well made with a 400 thread count shell that helps to keep the feathers from slipping through (but still should use pillow protectors). The BEST feather pillow I've found since the 1970's at Sears. No foam or alternative pillow can beat a well made, old-fashioned feather pillow without popping for full down at high price. These are perfect! I'm going to order several more sets for the rest of the house.
