This pillow cover is lovely. The fabric is good quality, and it has a rich color. The design is decidedly gold (it appears a bit more cream/ecru in the photo.) The cover gives the pillow a distinctly Moroccan flavor, which is fabulous with the on-going "global" trend in interior design. I'm quite pleased with this purchase.
The pillow covers are gorgeous!! Now read carefully though: be sure whether you want pillow covers or new throw pillows... because they all get lumped together in a search. Anyway, I got two of these to cover two worn ivory colored ones I have and they are perfect, stunning. I got the pair for decently under $50.00, maybe less really I'd have to back track and search, and the quality of these is just gorgeous. There is gold piping all the way around them, they are true to size, the zippers work easily and well, the fabric while embroidered and satin-y looking is tough (my recently deceased father's old dog has crawled all over one of them she thinks she's a cat I didn't have the heart to stop her) anyway, her paw nails which are pretty significant, did not even make a snag.
You can't go wrong with these. As Pictured!!! The burgundy color is burgundy. Sometimes a burnt orange brick color is passed off as burgundy not so with these.
