Alera Valencia Series Bow Front Desk Shell

If you need real space to do some serious work this really is an excellent desk for the price. With a helper, it took me about 15 to 20 minutes to assemble. By myself it probably would've taken a half hour. This puppy is very heavy so if you're not a fairly beefy person, definitely get some help. Carrying the packaging up a flight of steps by yourself is a nonstarter for most people, trust me.

My computer setup includes two 30 inch Dell U3011 monitors and an Alienware Aurora R4 desktop 'pooter, all of which fit comfortably on top of the desk. The aesthetics of the design and materials is excellent if you like simplicity and the construction is very, very sturdy. I have been very disappointed by the quality of most of my online purchases for furniture but this one I am very very pleased with.

Amazon: My one complaint is that in response to a search for "desk" or "computer desk", it took me over an hour to find this product. All of the listings before it were either ridiculously expensive, or of poor construction/insufficient size. I suspect you'd be doing yourselves a favor by listing this much earlier in response to search. Just a thought.

Took this on an international trip and tried to blow up the pillow at the gate before boarding. The mouthpiece that you blow air into came apart from the plastic pillow and it was impossible to fill up the pillow. The blanket is nice and warm but I ended up stuffing the blanket back in the sack and used it as a pillow and had to resort to using the airline blanket (yuck!). Great idea but poorly made, buyer beware!

I received item in a very timely manner from vendor. I had same product before but lost it during a trip. The product is great and price was good.

The Baltimore Ravens Twin Bedding Set arrived on time and is very nice. My grandson likes it very much. However, the top sheet has a hole in it. I notified the sender immediately and he notified the manufacturer to send me a new set of sheets. After waiting for more than a week, I again emailed the sender for an ETA of the new sheet and he forwarded the email from the manufacturer to me and said that he would once again contact the manufacturer. It's been more than two weeks and I have not had any additional communication from the sender or the manufacturer nor have I received a new sheet. Even though I like the product, I don't think that I would order from them again since it seems that they have dropped the ball. I'm having second thoughts about ordering from Amazon.com as well since I don't want to have this scenario repeated.

This product was awesome. I give it 5 stars because it fits perfect,feels soft and looks crisp. I purchased on amazon and delivery was from sheetsnthings. I received my purchase quickly. I would purchase it again and recommend it to family and friends.

Crisp looking and fits my Cal King perfectly. Didn't wrinkle too badly out of the dryer but I took it out immediately. Beware of washing anything else with this at the same time. Whatever you put in the washer with it will end up inside the giant pocket and become a huge pain to get out. :-)

I will admit that the overall dissatisfaction with this product is of my own fault. After having read the reviews from other buyers, both good and bad, I chose to follow the good reviews, and thus it is my bad. I will say that the negative reviews are all correct. Not at all "Egyptian cotton" -like, and the fit is poor. The fabric feels cheap and I fear that more than three washes will result in the total disintegration of the duvet. I will say this however, for the money, I am not surprised at the overall quality. Since I did not pay much for it, I suppose this waste will have to do for two a few days until I find something better... and seriously, anything else will be a step up.

I wanted a gold colored duvet cover and this is a rich gold. For the price, this is a good buy. It is very soft to the touch. It almost feels like satin which could be a problem if you have rough skin on your feet or a rough toe nail. It catches on the very smooth fabric.

I have washed this in warm water several times. If you get it out of the dryer right away, there is a minimum amount of wrinkling. Don't wash anything else with it as I think it crowds the duvet cover in the dryer. This will help to minimize the wrinkles. There will be some but for the most part these look very smooth on the bed. I have noticed some slight pilling on places of the duvet cover where I guess we have rubbed with our feet. I don't imagine these will last for many years but at this price I can afford to get another set in a year or two. I like the purchase and am happy I got it. I gave it 3 stars because it has a few drawbacks.

Sleep Better Iso-Cool Memory Foam Pillow

I suffer from two herniated cervical disks and it is very difficult for me to find a pillow that is just right, not too soft, not too firm, not too low, not too high... Over the years I have tried many, many memory foam pillows, amongst them the Dream Coil pillow, the Tempurpedic, Therapedic, you name it.

All worked somewhat but it seems that the main problem with most memory foam pillows is that they are too firm at first (especially in the winter when it is cold in the bedroom), then mold perfectly to a person's individual anatomy until the material gets too warm from the person's body heat and finally it does not provide perfect support anymore because it gets too soft and allows the head to sink in too far.

Because I was at the point yet again where I was changing out my various memory foam pillows several times a night in order to get comfortable, I was looking for just another pillow to try. Which in this case was the Iso-Cool pillow (the contoured model).

What a find! This is a truly different pillow. For me who sleeps mainly on her side and sometimes awakes on her back, it strikes the perfect balance between support and softness. I simply love it. It does not feel too firm in the beginning, just supportive, and it does not end up being too soft during the night, it simply remains exactly the same. That it doesn't overheat is another perfect feature but I admit I did not buy this pillow primarily for that although it is advertised as a "stays-cool-pillow".

I am very impressed with this pillow and can highly, highly recommend it to anyone suffering from the same condition as I am.

Of course I know from experience that these pillows come on the market and also disappear from it quickly, so I've already bought a second one and will get a few more. Just in case it will wear out one day. Because I want to avoid having to hunt down the overstocks all over the web as I had to do with the Dream Coil pillow a few years back...

UPDATE: I just received my additional Iso-Cool contour pillows. Contrary to the one I had recently bought at JC Penny's, these Amazon-sold ones come without the retail box and a thinner, considerably more basic pillow cover. The pillow cover from Penny's is the nicer one. The one I received from Amazon does not have blue or for that matter any piping, no stitched Iso-Cool logo, quite a bit thinner fabric.

But otherwise they seem to be made of the same material and have the same 15-yr. warranty. Just thought I'd mention that these differ a bit from other Iso-Cool pillows available out there...

UPDATE II:

In September 09 someone commented on my review here saying that Amazon now ships the pillow with the Iso-Cool cover as pictured. That's great it's a much nicer cover than what I got from Amazon when I first posted this review.

Initially this pillow was wonderful...probably the best one I'd ever slept on. However, after only 6 months the pillow has completely lost it's support and I wake up with a sore neck everyday. The memory foam just sinks in without any rebound and it is awful.

UPDATE: With some difficulty I found the manufacturer (.) and found out these pillows have a 15-year warranty. I returned my pillow to them and they sent me a brand new one. This one already feels different (better) from the first one. The outlast cover works very well to disperse heat.

I cannot stand warm pillow in the middle of the night. I have been searching for the last 10+ years. I even bought a pillow last year, mail ordered from Japan which they claim they have this "so called" heat transfer gel on the pillow, which cost me $120 and doesn't do ANYTHING. (lesson...)

So, I came across this Iso-Cool pillow on Amazon, I got the Contour version... I was VERY skeptical in the beginning... but once I sleep on it for the first night, I totally LOVE it.

1. It KEEP MY HEAD COOL, still warms up where the head contacts, but it DOES NOT warms up to a degree that annoys me (unlike one of the "original" memory form pillow which sold for $99+)

2. IT DOES NOT SINK. Again, unlike one of those "original" memory form pillow, this one give VERY GOOD support, and it does not make my head "sink" into the pillow.

3. I bought that kind of "water filling" pillow insert twice, and both of the time it leak after a year use. YES, it can keep my head cool, but still, the WHOLE insert will warm up after like 5-6 hours. This Iso-Cool does not keep on warming up during long hour of sleep, seems like it will stop warming up, up to certain temperature. THE BEST PART, IT WON'T LEAK.... (it is just a big block of form)

It DOES smell a little bit, like some new car/chemical smell to me when I first opened it from the package, but the smell dies down quick. Like the comment from the other user said, if the smell annoys you, I recommend to let it sit in open air for maybe a few days before you use it. For me, I just used right from the packaging.

BUT, even it sounds so amazing, but PLEASE, if possible, like myself, get one and try it out from a local store first, since NO ONE has the same preferences.

To me, this IS the pillow I was looking for, finally!

I recently purchased a new bed and decided to go with a new pillow and sheet set, got both from Amazon.

Based upon the previous reviews I decided to purchase the ISO-Cool Side Sleeper Memory Foam Pillow, hoping not to be disappointed. While my review is only based upon the initial receipt and one day of use I am impressed with the purchase.

This is a full size pillow, fills a standard pillowcase quite well, and it weighs 5.5 pounds (with pillowcase on). This is nearly double the weight and thickness of most department store memory foam pillows, and yes I did weigh them.

A quick heads-up on the "Cooling" effect, the pillow cover has additional material on one side which provides the cooler feeling, the flip side does not and tends to warm with absorbed body heat.

Overall a worthy purchase for the price.

I bought the pillow because I have problems with my body temp and this doesn't help with getting a good night's sleep.

First, I am enjoying the pillow. It is at just the right height for my neck, the firmness is very comfortable. So I am still using this pillow, it has replaced a regular (sort of) pillow and a feather pillow that I was using to try and get the right height and right firmness. So I am finding myself very pleased with it.

If it were just for the comfort level without the 'cool' property I would easily give 4 if not 5 stars.

But...

I bought it for it's ability to wick heat away from the head. I can't say that it works that well for me. Certainly, when I lay down it is nice and cool, just like any pillow. But I can't say that I find it to take any longer then usual to warm up. Oh I'll admit that it might, might be lasting a little longer, but not enough to be noticed.

The pillow is high quality foam, medium density. The cover is a smooth, pleasant to touch velour with a zip so you can wash it. When reading in bed or sleeping on your back it is pleasant to use it as a support for your knees. I imagine it would be good on your low back in a chair as well.

As most of the reviews said, this pillow was just ok. I would hardly consider this pillow to be "memory foam". And the pillow did have a strong stinch but after airing out for a few days it was more bearable. I washed the pillow case to help mask the smell. Also, the pillow case is not green, it's tan. This pillow was very inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for...which didn't surprise me at all.

I have owned this exact pillow for 10 years. It looks the same as the day I first bought it, no special care.

It is NOT the size of a regular pillowit is a bit smaller. I have used it for supporting my neck during my sleep.

It is essentially a piece of memory foam with a green zip-on cover. If the cover gets dirty you can take it off and wash it.

But I don't have a problem with the size; it was exactly what I was looking for.

However, the reason that I would not recommend this pillow is because it flattens out to the point of practically being useless. I have several pillows like this, and none of them flatten like this one does.

The sheets have a nice satin-like feel because they are made of polyester blend fibers. A bit too warm for me as I prefer the truly breatheable feel of 100% cotton.

This sleeping bag is super cute but the seller is ripping you off if you pay their 45.00 price. I just bought yesterday at Toys R Us store (not online) for 22.00!!! Shame on you seller!

So about the actual product:

Good:

* It is very long and fits my 5 year old with many years of room to grow.. thats a huge plus

* The zipper is actually good quaility and zips from top to bottom

* The pillow part is very thick and everything is well made

* The carry straps on the pillow are perfect for not just little arms to carry it..

* The colors are bright and fun

* The fabric is soft

* The outer portion of the bag which is the green side in the pic not the character is water proof.

* There is a mini zipper compartment on the back of the pillow that the pics do not show. This zipper compartment is to hold the sleeping bag when it is being packed or carried. This feature is awesome and make the whole product a great deal at the 22.00 I paid.

Bad:

* The sleeping bag is very thin... will not stand up to cool temps much less cold temps. Anything above mid 60's may be too cold for just the sleeping bag alone.

* The neat design of the characters are acutally the interior fabric! The green side is the outer protion of the sleeping bag and it is water proof fabric so I do not think it would be very comfortable to sleep with it on the inside as kids may insist on doing.

Would buy again and our kids love it! Do not buy it from this overpriced seller though. It is available at Toys R Us stores... not not their online store.

I ordered a set of queen sheets and received them promptly. HOWEVER, only the top sheet turned out to be queen-sized -the bottom sheet is either a twin or full-size. Since it was a gift I ended up using the top sheet with a solid black bottom sheet, and granted it is VERY cute, but now what?? They are no longer available and I don't want to give up the top sheet. SOOOO, I guess I will make curtains or something out of the sheet that doesn't fit, but still I am irritated to not be able to mix and match the solid and print sets as I had hoped to do.

The sheets are advertised as 100% Egyptian cotton but if you read the description, it says it's made out of "microfiber" (i.e. polyester). I actually bought this at full price and am completely disappointed. It feels very thin and cheap. After I washed the sheets, they turned into a completely different color. A sign of a truly inferior product. To sum it all up, DO NOT BUY. Save your money and buy 1500 thread count sheets from an actual store with a good return policy.

Warning! These are NOT 1500 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets. The label says, in tiny print, "The same comfort as in" big print "1500 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets." I purchased this sheet set because well it was a great deal at $28 (although the next day it dropped to $21). As you can see from the product photos the logo says JS Sanders, 1500 Thread Count, 100% Egyptian Cotton, Sheet Set, King..... However this is not the product I received. Perhaps I should have been more careful and done my research before purchasing because I'm calling BS and shananigans on this product/seller. What I received looks almost exactly like the picture, color of the sheets was correct, same packaging, and the label in the middle is yellow with gold lining. However, the details are incorrect. The label reads ClaraClark are the brand, 1500 Thread Count is correct, but then.....it says 100% Egyptian Quality!!!!!!!!!!!!! So be warned about this product/seller, I will be contacting them today since I just received my bogus sheets to see what they are going to do to fix the mess they made.

I love nice bedding and when I saw these, A high thread count sheet set at such a low cost I thought "Hmmm, why are they so cheap?" High quality thread count bedding is wayyyyyy more than $20. But I thought I'd go ahead and try them anyways. They are advertised as 1500 thread count, but I noticed when they arrived yesterday the packaging, says in very small print..... "high strength MICROFIBER yarns that will stay soft and wrinkle free for years to come WITH THE SOFT TOUCH AS A 1500 THREAD COUNT EGYPTIAN COTTON. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! They don't feel nice at all, maybe somewhat nicer then the 200 TC sheets at walmart, but nothing like my 600TC sheets from bed bath and beyond. Love the sheets with a caveat.

The flat sheet is a little small. Per the specs, our queen fitted is 60x80x16. Fits perfectly. But the flat sheet is 94x102. Even when it's turned sideways, you can't tuck it in securely on the sides if you have a 16" mattress. 60 + 2x16 (the sides) = 92, so at most you've got five inches under each side, which in practice is much less and they get pulled out pretty quick. So I find myself wanting to buy a king set for my queen mattress instead, though of course then the fitted sheet will be far too large. Frustrating.

The sheets themselves are very nice material, and the burgundy is bold and beautiful. And obviously I'm considering buying a second set.

I have not had much of luxury bed linen, only old egyptian cotton sheets from a friend, so I don't have much to compare with. But i love these new OrganicTextiles sheets, because I know they are organic, and they are soft, and I don't see anything wrong with them. It's certainly of better quality than some cheap stuff from Walmart (I got organic sheets once there, and they were prickly at times, peeling, and have had no good sheen or look after the very first washing). OrganicTextiles sheets are looking as high quality sheets in stores after washing, too.
