This chair has a sturdy frame. The chair is light and easy to fold. The fabric looks, feels, and is rich. The chair is the most comfortable chair I have ever purchased and I have purchased many. The purchase was delivered in a timely fashion and there was NOTHING to put together. I would recommend this chair to anyone! The biggest problem you will encounter will be to keep out people out of it; so you can sit in it yourself!
I studied so many chairs and decided to take a chance with these because the price was so good, and the color was fine. When the box came I could see the packaging was terrible. The box was wrinkled and had even been punctured. But the chairs turned out to be fine. I've just used mine a few times, so I don't know how they'll hold up over time. I always bring them inside at the end of the day, and they fold up easily. When you want to recline, just put both feet on the bottom front bar and push it away from you as you lean back. The pillow is very adjustable and fastens in the back with velcro. They are so relaxing to sit back in!

I just got my chair today, and I'm sitting in it as I write this. I read various reviews both for this model and the oversized chair. Based on the reviews (which I interpreted as fairly average overall), I decided that a chair is really a personal thing as far as "fit". Not everyone is proportioned the same. That being said, I am a 5'8" female and fairly *well-nourished* for my height, which made me question whether this chair would suit my needs. I won't say how much I weigh, because that's a personal thing too, lol. We'll just say that my hips don't touch the inside of the bars on either side of the seat. ;)
I might have purchased the oversized chair except that it was more costly, and it's *brown*. :Q
This chair seems to have been designed for someone around 5'6" or 5'7". Any taller than me, and your feet will be hanging off the foot bar. With my legs fully extended the backs of my heels rest right on the top of it. While wearing my Crocs and with the bottoms of my feet resting *on* the foot bar my ankles are angled outward a bit. The weight of my laptop pushes my feet out of position, which is unfortunate since I use my laptop for my home-based business probably 16 hours a day. I wear my Crocs for about that long too, and I plan to use this chair a lot (I'm moving to a house with an awesome backyard view of the mountains, ya know ;). The awkwardness of how my feet rest on the foot bar is less of a concern when I lean back, but it's uncomfortable having to crane my neck upward to type.
Now for the "dual fingertip locking system". These latches are a bit unsophisticated to label them a "system", lol. I have found them next to useless. I pushed them all the way in, pulled them all the way out, and it took all 4 fingers to do it. They don't "lock" anything, and only increase the tension of the chair at best. They do seem like they might break with aggressive handling. Right now it isn't much of a concern since the chair stays in position reasonably well on its own, but if the chair loses tension the lack of properly functioning locks could become an issue.
The chair swings back for a perfectly comfortable evening of stargazing, the position in which this chair is truly at its best.
The armrests are indeed plastic, but they are sturdy, very comfortable, and are completely stable.
My lower back, behind, and legs have no complaints; however, the mesh feels a bit tight across my upper back. Nothing to cause me to demand a return shipping label, and the mesh will probably relax over time.
The seat does not sag, but over time the mesh will probably relax there too. That would be fine, since right now I feel like I'm sitting *on* the chair as opposed to *in* it.
The frame is durable, stable, and does not sway. At this point there is no squeakage noted.
The removable headrest has an elastic strap, so the "pillow" can be positioned anywhere along the back of the chair. The pillow is a very firm piece of foam. It is worth mentioning that the pillow cover has a slot in the back, which is convenient if you want to remove the foam and replace it with your own material.
The width between the bars on either side of the seat is just over 22 1/2". If your personal seat is wider, I would recommend going with the oversized model. Also, this chair has a 300 pound weight capacity. Although the chair is durable and may accommodate that much weight, I think that due to its size anyone over 250 pounds would find it uncomfortable.
I do suggest keeping the chair out of the elements when not in use. I suspect that sun and rain will cause the mesh to deteriorate and weaken.
Overall, this chair is reasonably comfortable and I am fairly happy. I expect to use it daily for several hours at a time without any real discomfort. If this chair only lasts a year with everyday use, I will have considered the price to be on target. As is, I estimate that I will get two years' use out of it, possibly three. If I didn't think I could comfortably use it for an extended period of time I would return it. I will certainly update if it fails anytime before a year or two. :)

I bought one of these chairs and the plastic slide on the right side of the chair broke not long after I bought it. No one sells the slides so I guess I am stuck with an expensive piece of junk. I would think that the manufacturer would make these slides out of something stronger. Not a happy Camper!

Some internal parts that keep the chair from tumbling you over backwards onto your head do not last very long. I am glad I was on the grass and not pavement when I was flipped to the ground full force.

I've slept with these pillows now for about 3 months. I have significant issues with my neck, and play pillow roulette all the time. It usually takes me 30 minutes or better to find a combination to support my neck/shoulders. I got these, hoping they would eliminate this nightly routine. They have! I love these pillows. I use both of them and they are very supportive, but highly moldable. Made of the same material that my mattress is, it has the gel in it, so it's not at all hot like other memory foam pillows. My husband managed to "borrow" them one day when he was sick, and now he wants his own he currently sleeps on a $140 Tempurpedic pillow, and now prefers these! So, we're waiting for the second pair:) I would suggest these would make great blanks for sofa pillows too you know the ones that just go flat in no time? So there may be a couple more pairs in my future:)
