It is very heavy, very firm and I love(d) it. Keeps its shape better than any other pillow I have ever used. BUT! even with a 630 Thread Count cover on it the feathers have now (1 week later) started poking through and it is like an angry porcupine in there. Needless to say it is getting really annoying. These small feather quill tips are so sharp I don't think any fabric cover will stop them. All I can do is fluff the pillow and pull out the needles every night.

Maybe it is just an issue with my pillow. I hope so because it is so nice I kind of want another one.

I was going to get the polyester filled body pillow but I decided to get a better one, feather down with 3 year warranty and I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Soft and cuddlely and it feels like the body pillow cuddles me back! Sometimes I have a problem with sleeping and I find myself fall in sleep with relaxed and warm cozyness with the body pillow. I got a pink minky cover for the body pillow and it is perfect softness. I added a pic of mine as well. Love it!

Got this for my 19 year old daughter. She said the filling (feathers) were extremely 'bumpy' and she could feel a ton of feather 'spines' under the covering, many poking through the cover. She said they were hard and 'crunchy' and she couldn't 'feel' any down. She was comparing it to an expensive pure down pillow she has. Now I know it says 95% feathers, etc...but she/we were expecting something at least a bit softer. Not so crunchy. lol On a good note, the covering was well made, even thought the quill tips still stuck through. AND stupid me ordered the wrong pillow! Soooooo.....

In all fairness, the seller was super about refunding my money. Very courteous and prompt. Hence the 3 stars. Maybe I should give it 2 stars. After all, the rating is supposed to be about the "product", not just customer service. But I feel guilty about doing that since they were so professional, and it's a matter of personal comfort. It does NOT appear to be shabbily made.

Good quality pillow. Nice a big. A little on the heavy side which is not good for me as I tend to flip from side to side during the night.

Received two of these today. The fabric of the outside is rather thin, and the feathers do poke through a little too easily. I think I should have looked for a 30/70 or 50/50 pillow (more down), with a thicker covering material (if possible), as it would have been slightly softer and less pokey. I can see the feathers through the fabric, which isn't a good sign.

Also, the tag on the pillow says 'Finished Size: 20"x52"' so it's not actually 54" long, but 52 inches long. This might mean that 54" covers will fit fine when the pillow flattens out, but I am not sure (I've ordered some to try out).
