I really expected to like these sheets when I opened them. They seemed heavy duty, maybe thick even, & they are larger than king sheets I've had before (Like!).

Problem: After just 2 uses (weekly change & wash)the bottom sheet pilled. Unacceptable! I will use them as a top sheet only & see how that works out.

If I could give these bags negative stars I would. The plastic is extremely brittle and thin. The plastic slide closure tears the plastic even on under-filled bags. The "patented one way valve" is a joke. My regular household vacuum sucked it off it's seal before the bag had even been partially emptied of air. You'd be far better off buying those jumbo zipper bags and pressing on them to push out the air.

We have had these space bags for a year. The zipper is cheap and does not seal well, the plastic on the vacuum nozzle comes off readily, and the plastic gets brittle and tears easily. Take it from a year of experience; this brand of vacuum bags has been nothing but bad news.

These bags have a "zip" closure but it doesn't seal all the way so you end up with air getting back into the bags, defeating the whole purpose of the bags. I had to use duct tape on the end to keep it sealed.

Yes, it vacuums and shrinks. No, it doesn't hold that shape, even when you no longer hear air hissing and think you've sealed it up well. Total waste of time and money.

I bought this pillow to replace a U-shaped pillow I lost at a hotel stay. I was very disappointed in its support ability for sleeping. In desperation I opened one seam and added at least 1/2 as much pillow fill as was in the product when purchased. Much better. I could have made this myself for less than $10, but would have included welt seams and other quality details my lost pillow had.

The Cooling Pillow (Medium Density).

I'm one of those individuals who is always hot at night. Even though we live in Upstate NY and we keep our thermostat set at 58 degrees at night, I'm still hot. When I read about this revolutionary pillow on the Amazon website, I decided to see if I could get some additional information. For that, I clicked on the Hammacher Schlemmer website and discovered that they were offering free shipping to first time customers. If you weren't a first time customer, you'd be forced to paying the outrageous shipping fee of $16.95, which is the same as they charge on Amazon. Hammacher Schlemmer has a reputation for selling very high quality products, albeit at very inflated prices. Since I needed the pillow and the shipping was free, I went ahead with the purchase.

The pillow arrived 5 days after I placed my order. When I opened up the box, there were all sorts of pillow fibers inside the box that had apparently escaped from the pillow itself. There was also a dark mark on one side of the pillow. I couldn't decide whether or not to send it back. Included in the box, was a King pillow cover with a zipper. I placed the pillow cover over the pillow, than zipped it up. Once the cover was zipped over the pillow, I no longer had to deal with the loose fibers and the dark mark was no longer visible. I was all set to start using it.

I have a fan set up about 6 feet away from my side of the bed, directly aimed at my head. Although this helps eliminate some of the heat, it doesn't eliminate all. That's why I bought the pillow. The pillow is extremely comfortable and with its medium density, your head doesn't sink down to the top of the mattress. It gets 5 stars for this. On the other hand, the cooling effect is quite disappointing. When I first went to sleep, I didn't notice any difference at all between the cooling effect of this pillow and the warming effect of an ordinary pillow. When I woke up in the middle of the night, my head was as hot as always, and the sweat had already stained the new pillowcase that I had put on. This was quite disappointing to me, as at least in my case, the cooling pillow served no purpose at all. Yes, as stated it was comfortable, but as far as keeping my head cool, it didn't perform as advertised. When I woke up this morning, I could feel the heat on the side of my head that was resting on the pillow. When I raised my head, I felt the pillowcase, which was very warm to the touch.

The bottom line is that this is a very comfortable pillow. However, since its being advertised as a cooling pillow and the cooling effect is minimal to none, it only gets 2 stars from me. In addition, it's outrageously overpriced and if you have to pay for shipping, Hammacher Schlemmer takes advantage of you by charging a shipping fee that's much higher than their actual cost.

In summary, here's a list of pros & cons.

PureAyre Baby Odor Eliminator, 14-Ounce Bottle (Pack of 3)

This stuff works great on stains...I used it to spray on my son's Cloth diapers and it worked GREAT!! I use pockets mainly and I couldn't seem to get the poopy smell out of his pockets...but my other diapers were just fine, no problems...it was just sticking to the fleece for some reason. I use Charlies soap for my laundry and it works great, but I needed something else to get this smell and the stains off. And oxy clean wasn't really working. I sprayed this stuff on my dipes and ALL the yucky lingering smell was gone! So then I would spray it on all of his poopy dipes (not just plain pee dipes those come out clean just fine). I usually use the flushable paper liners but sometimes you get stuff on them anyway, or you don't have a liner when they poop. (oh quick tip, you can wash and reuse the flushable liners if baby just pees on them!) Anyway I rinse off the poop and then spray with the pureayre and throw in diaper pail and then wash as usual!

The only thing is, they have different varieties, one for baby, pets, home etc...I just wonder if there is anything different or if it's just a label to make it easier to put it in the right category in a store...I am going to try and contact the company to find out...will update if I get more info.

I bought this mattress cover for my son's bed in early May. He is highly allergic to dust mites and treel pollen. On the plus side, the mattress cover is soft and cooler than the cover we had on previously. My son noitced he was not as hot sleeping in his bed. On the negative side, when the summer humidity kicked in the cover has shown it does not keep out dust mites! We keep the A/C on all the time due to his allergies and my 9 year old is still waking up every morning with a stuffy, congested nose from the dust mites. The cover is certasinly helping to keep some of the dust mites from coming throughbut not all. Now I will have ot decide whether to go back to a more plastic type cover or see ifhe can deal with this for a few more months. I would recommend the cover for folks with mild dust mite allergies only.

Since I have purchased this I have no longer have problems with dust while sleeping in my own bed. I did not realize before that the dust mites were living in my mattress. I would wake up each morning with a stuffy nose and then proceed with taking care of the symptoms instead of the root of the problem. I also have pillow covers. These are awesome do the same good work, and provided you wash these things on a fairly regular basis (like once a month) then the dust is kept at bay.

I ordered this encasement for our new Eastern King mattress. The mattress does fit inside the encasement... the problem is... there's about 6 inches extra fabric no matter how we fit it. The first time I thought we had it in improperly, so we rotated it and tried again. Same unfortunate results. Very disapointed.

As most of the reviews said, this pillow was just ok. I would hardly consider this pillow to be "memory foam". And the pillow did have a strong stinch but after airing out for a few days it was more bearable. I washed the pillow case to help mask the smell. Also, the pillow case is not green, it's tan. This pillow was very inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for...which didn't surprise me at all.

I have owned this exact pillow for 10 years. It looks the same as the day I first bought it, no special care.

It is NOT the size of a regular pillowit is a bit smaller. I have used it for supporting my neck during my sleep.

It is essentially a piece of memory foam with a green zip-on cover. If the cover gets dirty you can take it off and wash it.

Renaissance 600 Thread-Count Woven Stripe Sheet Set

Okay, this is a tuff one but I will try to be specific because I always check reviews before a purchase. I was shocked that I could even find king size sheets for $39.99 not to mention that they were 600 thread count but I thought I'd give them a try. Reviews were all over the place, but you won't find mine differing too much from them but hopefully a little more specific.

Basically I have to say, I am a little surprised that the sheets, for the price, are a nice weight (heavier than you'd expect), but the reason I stop short of giving them 5 stars is because they are NOT as soft as you would expect 600 thread count sheets to be. I washed them first to get that disgusting 'new sheet' smell out of them, and then made up the bed. We have a very thick pillow-top mattress and the sheets fit them great! I have now washed them a second time and they feel about the same, soft enough, but not like expensive sheets. SO if you are looking for good quality sheets at an amazing price and you are used to using 250-300 thread count sheets, these are the sheets for you. If you are thinking you have hit the mother load with 600 thread count sheets for only $39.99 and expect them to be soft as a baby's bottom, you will be a disappointed. Hope this helps.

November 9, 2010 update: Please do not buy these sheets. Over the past 11 months that I have owned these sheets, they probably have been washed about 20 times because I rotate them with two other sets. They continue to shrink. The bottom sheet no longer fits the bottom of the bed. Undoubtedly this is the worst sheet set that I have ever owned. The remainder of this review is my initial assessment after the first wash, followed by the January 2010 second wash.

There are mixed reviews regarding these sheets. Here is my experience with them.

Before shopping for sheets, it is imperative to know the depth of your mattress. I have a pillowtop with a 2 inch foam pad on top of that, for a total of 14 ¾ inches. I bought these sheets specifically on the basis that they were 600 thread count and because of this statement on the webpage: "The fitted sheet is fully elasticized and has deep 16-inch pockets that will fit today's extra-thick mattresses (up to 18 inches deep). Machine wash and tumble dry for easy care." What I didn't have access to until I received the sheets were the actual washing instructions, which are to (1) machine wash in cold water separately, and (2) tumble dry low. They were made in India.

Putting the sheets on the bed directly from the package, the fitted sheet definitely would fit an 18 inch deep mattress; there was room to spare to the point that I had to tuck in the bottom sheet. There was a nice, shiny sateen finish to the sheets. I was further impressed because the top sheet was ample, to the point that there was a 16 inch drape on each side, and around 5 to 6 inches to tuck in at the bottom. The pillow cases were very ample.

I followed the washing and drying instructions exactly. Naturally, I expected a little shrinkage. However, after the first wash and dry, the bottom sheet now just fits my 14 ¾ inch deep mattress. The top sheet lost length, probably between 3 and four inches, and maybe two inches on the width. The pillow cases are a snugger, but not difficult, fit. This information is provided because if you intend to use these sheets for an 18 inch deep mattress, they may not fit after the first wash. Since they shrank on a low dryer setting, my guess is that you would have to air dry the sheets in order to prohibit shrinkage.

Regarding the sateen finish, it is gone, but the sheets are soft, not scratchy (used a dryer sheet). This is more information than you want, but my husband sleeps sans bedclothes, so you know these sheets have to be soft. Insofar as wrinkles, I take my sheets out immediately; these do not wrinkle too badly, but do not expect wrinkle free. I will be updating this review once I have washed the sheets a couple more times as to whether additional shrinkage occurs.

January 11, 2010 update: Second wash. Remember my mattress measurements (above) and that the first time I washed exactly per instructions. The second time I washed in warm water/cold rinse because I just want the sheets clean plus they shrank so much the first time that they couldn't possibly shrink more, right? Wrong. They shrunk again. I would change my rating to one star because:

1. The bottom sheet now goes on with a struggle. Don't even think of getting these for a mattress of 15-inch depth or more unless you are prepared to clean these sheets with absolutely no heat whatsoever. Even then, they might shrink.

2. The top sheet barely tucks in, both on the length and the width. To get it to tuck in lengthwise, the sheet must be dropped down from the top of the mattress. There's nothing to be done about the problem of the width; the tuck in amount is only about two inches on each side, meaning they will come out fairly easily.

3. There is absolutely no sheen to these sheets now, if that matters to you. At least they are still soft, but in every other way, these sheets are a big disappointment, and I cannot recommend them.

I was skeptical for the price and the few reviews that stated they were rough and not soft enough. Got them a week ago. Pulled out of the package and thought WOW, what were people talking about being scratchy. Washed with softner anyway but don't think really needed.. They are SOOOOOOO nice. Yes, they do wrinkle (ALOT), but didn't bother me and once on the bed smoothed out. We have a temperpedic and they fit great with ample room for the fitted if you have a deep pocket bed. The top sheet is nice and long, tucked it way under the bed. We always have used flannel year round for the softness. So trust me, I was leary. They are so soft. I love crawling into bed. Think I'll go take a nap right now! LOL. I feel they are well worth every penny and will be buying another set!!! Got the cafe' color and it is "golder" in color then the image on my PC. Worked great for me though. Big time recommend.

At first I thought these sheets were fabulous...well made and very luxurious right out of the package. I washed them before putting them on the bed and noticed the fitted sheet was a little snug and the flat sheet barely tucked under at the foot of the bed, but I was so pleased with the material that I decided to keep them and didn't think I could return them after washing. With each weekly washing they have shrunk even more and trying to get the fitted sheet on has become more and more frustrating as it now barely fits the mattress which is a 15" Stearns and Foster from the Estate Collection (just for those of you with the same mattress set considering these sheets) and the flat sheet doesn't tuck in at all. Also, the pillow cases are funky...I use standard size pillows and the cases just cover the length of the pillow but are very wide. While I love the fabric used in these sheets, I would never buy another set and do not recommend them.

I ordered these sheets in the moss green. I love the color, but they are like sleeping on paper! They even sound like it! I have repeatedly washed them and used liquid fabric softner to no avail. The reviews confuse me. Did I just get a bad set? Mine are not soft to sleep on, they are noisy!

I was a little worried about purchasing a comforter set online. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to feel it or really be able to see all the detail.

This comforter however I was really impressed with. I thought the chocolate was going to be darker then it is however its fine that it's not as dark as I expected. I still like the color and like the way it looks. I like the fact that I was able to purchase my sheets and curtains prior to getting this comforter without having to worry if the blue color I was getting was going to match. The pattern on the comforter includes many different shades of blue so it looks perfect and doesn't look too matchy matchy which I like.

Now let me talk about how freaking soft the thing is! We have 2 cats that wont get off the bed now. Not that it's a bad thing however one of them does shed and it will show her white hair all over it. We have battled this by putting a throw at the of the bed where she lays and no more worry about cat hair sticking to the bed.

Once again we were really pleased with this purchase.

The comforter is gorgeous and looks just like the picture. The embroidery is nice. The fabric is just not soft at all. Gauze-like, rough. Very light, would be ok for a summer quilt. Just couldnt stand to touch.

Disney Jack Skellington Fleece Throw Blanket

The throw is not as soft as a furry stuffed animal but soft enough, just not to my liking. When I use it as a blanket at night if I pull it up to my neck then I end up uncovering my feet (I'm 5'4" by the way), so it is not as large as I expected it to be. I think people say it's large because it has more of a square shape than a rectangular one and they probably just use it to wrap around them when sitting or something. However, the only reason you are getting this blanket is for Jack. The color is a vibrant gray and it looks and feels well-made although it is a little thin for a throw. The Jack decal is a nice size that it won't be overbearing but big enough for a fan to appreciate. So don't hesitate, if you love Nightmare Before Christmas or know someone who does, then get it, you or they will love it.

It is a great idea at first glance. This is my suggestion: The base of the elastic ends should be tethered from right and left side, so that the Kindle can be placed in the middle, and the drawstring gathered at center..as it is now, the tethers are BEHIND the Kindle,making it tilt when you draw the string. OR, you could but 4 elastic corners,N W E S and have the Kindle corners slip under each, leaving a clear view to read. AS it is now, in order to get the Kindle to stop tilting, I have to put it INSIDE the circle of elastic, then draw the strings. This puts tension on the plastic lid at bottom which is fine. But it covers up the last sentence on the Kindle. This is my 3rd purchase for a Kindle prop. So far it seems the best, except for what I mentioned above. I may alter this so that I have 4 elastic corners intead of how it was manufactured.

My 18M got this for xmas, he absolutely adores it. He doesn't know it's a pillow, to him is just another "Teddy". Very well constructed, the fabric hardly sheds anything. Machine washable, it hasn't disintegrated afters several washes, it still holds its colors/shape.

These are really nice and easy for doing a quick refresh in the living room. It's fun to change pillow covers from time to time, and far more frugal to buy covers than new pillows. I hate to think of old pillows in landfills. You can trade or donate the covers when you change them out. The materials and construction on these covers seems totally good-quality.

I was so excited when my Spider-man blanket finally came in the mail. The material is incredibly soft and the size is perfect to cover up on a cold night, or to lie on during my tennis games. Spider-man is my favorite superhero and I love showing him off to my team mates. Also, the blanket is much bluer than the picture provided. While the picture makes the background look like a pale blue-gray, the blanket is a deep sky blue.

Sleep Innovations Bag of Comfort Memory Foam Topper and Pillow Set

This is a great little set....and by little, I mean it's actually portable. Most memory foam toppers are much thicker and so much heavier, and you really cannot roll them up, etc. The Sleep Innovations is packaged in a large sleeping bag type of holder, and you can actually get the topper back in fairly easily. As I mentioned, this is not as thick as most toppers, being only 1 inch. It is, however, good enough to make sleeping more comfortable, and actually, I like this better than the 4 inch topper I had. I never wanted to spend the money for a memory foam pillow because I just didn't know how comfortable they would be.....well, I almost love it and am glad to have it. Love is a strong word, and I say almost because it gets a bit warm. It seems to trap/store heat, or I radiate more heat than I thought. If not for this, I would LOVE it....and yet, I'm pretty darn close already. After a couple of nights I actually notice a positive difference in my back and I also feel better rested. I think it is because of the pillow, as it is a compleely different experience and feeling. I am used to my thick down pillows and this one is so relatively thin and heavy and almost unyielding, that I didn't think I would like it at all....shows how little I know. The pillow will sink and kind of cradle your head and I find myself moving around less....and, it might be that those thick down pillows were too thick or not as supportive as I thought/needed.

The pillow had no smell at all, and the topper had a very slight smell. The 4 inch I bought had to be aired out for about a week before the smell went away and those fumes were STRONG!

This is great to take to hotels, sleepovers, dorms (the XL is perfect for dorm beds), sleepaway camp, etc..

Lastly, I would like to mention that the memory foam pillows that I looked at cost just about the same as this entire set!

If you have a child going away to college, camp, etc., this is a no-brainer. They will thank you! If you have a bed that just needs a little help, this is also perfect.

I am a soldier currently deployed to Afghanistan. I started shopping for mattress toppers not long after arriving here, because the bunks we are assigned are notoriously uncomfortable. I found this set, and was impressed by the price, and the carrying case, given that my housing changes often.

I was first impressed by how quickly it shipped. It arrived here in country exactly a week from when I ordered it. Then when I installed it I was impressed that it actually covered the entire bunk. The pillow was also incredibly comfy-feeling, and the cover on it was very soft. That night, when I used it for the first time, it was the best nights sleep Ive had since I arrived in Afghanistan.

I did not at all notice the chemical smell that others have mentioned once I made the bed.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered the "Sleep Innovations Bag of Comfort Twin XL Memory Foam Topper and Pillow Set." My dad is elderly and sleeps on a daybed downstairs during the day. No matter which mattress we use for him, its always become uncomfortable, so I thought I'd give this a try. First thing I noticed when I placed on the bed was the length. No skimping here, it's plenty long and wide; nice surprise. I wasn't sure how much difference a one inch piece of memory form would make but it really works well and has made quite a difference. My dad loves it and says it has really helped. He's in love with the pillow. He loves it so much he carries it downstairs during the day, and to bed at night. I will admit when you open up the package the smell is pretty bad, but it seems to disapper within 24 hours. For the price, I say this is a really good buy. I'm thinking ogf purchasing the larger size for my oun bed.

My first impression upon removing the items from the neat little drawstring bag package was that both the pillow and mattress topper had a nice firm give to them and seemed well-made.

I put the mattress topper on the standard size twin bed and it had a little extra on both sides of the mattress but not at the ends (head and feet). Not sure if that was intentional. It was a little difficult to get it to sit square with the mattress while putting a sheet over it but it did fully cover the top of the mattress so I thought it was good enough.

The pillow was the more important of the two pieces. My son has always wanted a memory-foam type of pillow so he tried it first. The next morning it was on the floor, substituted with his old softer pillow. It does feel firmer and quite different so I wasn't surprised. I tried it the next evening and found it to be pretty comfortable. It wasn't too firm and supported my neck in a comfortable position. My biggest complaint was that it had a chemical-ly smell that was a little off-putting. I put a zippered case over it and then a standard pillow case and it was better. The smell went away within a few days.

This is not comparable to the high-end memory foam product but then again, the price point is much more affordable. I am not using this as my primary pillow now. I didn't love it the way I had hoped but I chalk that up to personal preference. So, all in all it's an okay product and I feel it's worth the money if you manage your expectations appropriate to the price point.

Never have tried these Memory Foam Toppers before so this was a first try for us and we were pleasantly surprised. It fits the bed great, with extra room on every side. We let it air out overnight as it did have an unpleasant smell to it but by morning it was gone. The foam topper is 1 imch in thickness. The pillow is a gel memory cluster pillow and we fight over it it... thats how comfortable it is! Everything fits into the laundry bag it comes it which is nice to travel with if needed, all in one spot. It definately adds more support and comfort to a mattress.

Pacific Coast: European Down Comforter - Full/Queen 90" x 98"

I ordered this for a gift, but the only down/feather items I buy are always Pacific Coast. They're the best and this comforter was a good price. All the things I have from Pacific Coast are washable and I've had their pillows for years.

I slept under one of these at a Marriot hotel back in February, and I had to search for one when I returned home. I have never slept so comfortably since receiving mine in the mail! I do not need to sleep with a flat sheet... this comforter is enough. Like others have stated, it seems rather flat when taken out of the packaging, but within hours, it fluffs right up. My only gripe is that I wish they came in other colors.

I ordered this comforter a couple weeks ago and think it's perfect for Southern California winters. The package arrived very quickly, which was helpful because I was freezing at night without it. Upon removing the comforter from the package, it is definitely flat, but within a couple hours it stars to fluff up and within a couple days it is perfectly fluffy like a cloud. I look forward to jumping in bed and getting cozy under this comforter every night. I'm not sure if it will be too warm in the summer, but it is definitely perfect for the winters.

I am writing to express my disappointment in the Full/Queen European Down Comforter I purchased.

What caught my eye about your product was the "Comfort Lock Boarder" feature that you claim your product has. After 6 months of use on my bed I have found this not to be true. The sides and bottom of my comforter are full of down while the top part of the comforter is flat and when held up to the light some of the pockets are almost completely empty of any filling.

Your product does not deliver what it promises. I might also add I tried to contact the company about this and my calls and e-mail go unreturned. The company does not seem to be focused on service.

I was also disappointed when I opened the box and saw the small package but once you open it, the comforter fluffs up so nice and thick. It keeps us warm without being heavy. The cotton is solf, the down is amazingly soft. We are thrilled with our purchase especially the price. Same comforter in dept stores is double the price.
