I don't travel much but when I do it's important to me to have a good pillow. When I'm taking a car trip I can just bring my regular pillow, but for air travel, where there isn't room for a regular pillow, this little beauty is ideal. It's very soft, and I love the velour cover. The stitching seems quality. With the velour cover off, the memory foam doesn't appear to have any large pits in it. When I pack to travel I like to roll things up to save space on the suit case. When I rolled this little pillow up it took about as much space as one of my t-shirts rolled up. When I took it out at my destination it only took a few seconds to get back to its original shape. When I first purchased it, it did have that distinct "memory foam" smell, but it went away after a few hours. I even use it as a knee pillow when I'm not traveling. I used to think travel pillows were a joke, but now I'm so glad I don't have to use the questionable hotel pillows.

This pillow is a hot item in our household. I originally purchased one for myself for business trips but since the kids were all fighting over it... we got one for each of them. It is awesome. Soft cover, and very comfortable. Perfect for the plane. Just the right size to hide in my carry on. Like I said, my kids really like it as well. We got them pillow pets for Christmas... but they all prefer and sleep with this every night! Go figure. I used to have the old U shaped style neck pillow for traveling... but I will NEVER go back. I bought this pillow not for travel, but for sleeping in my bed. I needed something more for my neck & regular pillows weren't cutting it. But I don't use this pillow the way it was intended. I put the raised side with a roll on the left side of my head & use a regular pillow folded in half & stuffed in a pillow case leaning on the right side of my head. In addition, we would be required to ship the product back to the manufacturer at our cost for their confirmation of the problem. If they disagreed with our assessment of breakdown of the mattress, they would charge us another $45 to return the original mattress to us. Chimney Balloon CB24X12 Medium Chimney Balloon, 24" x 12"

I don't often leave reviews. Sorry, not worth my time to share insight. However, I had such high hopes for this product (given its premium price point, among other things) that the disappointment I found led me to the motivation to encourage others to look at the Mfg pictures and go it alone. The design is as simple as it appears.

To comment directly to the previous poster, the reason you can't find the leak is because you have to move the plastic around where the inflation tube meets the plastic bag to expose it enough to bubble obviously (this isn't 32 PSI in a car tire after all, it's 2 PSI in a plastic bag). The concept is excellent, but, using what must be a 2mil plastic bag (typical "Zip-lock" bag thickness) attached directly to hard plastic hardware is a bad idea.

Mine held up great the first time I put it in place (for nearly 6 months it held air, no problem). However, after deflating it, taking it out (to use the fireplace) and putting it back in place days later, it developed a leak and started deflating within hours. I too (as the previous poster noted) sprayed it with soapy water trying to find the leak, only to find it was too slow to easily locate. However, based on a suspicion I had from the initial unwrap, I eventually started to move the plastic hardware around slightly and then the leak was obvious.

The Mfg has apparently tried to address this issue by connecting a rubber band between the top and bottom hard plastic hardware, conceptually distributing the load pressure across the hardware while inflated. However, because the sole "handle" to position the "balloon" is it's own air inflation valve, it eventually stretches/tears into the cheap plastic bag balloon. In the previous poster's case it apparently occurred in the initial installation; in my case after one removal/replacement.

To the Mfg: Thanks for the idea, I will take your concept and improve upon it (I need a solution that will last for years to come). That being said; I have plenty else on my plate and my time can be bought. Send me a handful of 12" x 12" bags (saving me the production effort) and I will remove my negative post and send you some recommended design changes.

If you are going to charge $45 for something that can't cost you more than $1 in materials, at least come up with a "Better than you can do in Two Hours" design.

The Chimney Balloon sounds like a good idea, but mine doesn't stay inflated. I understand that the instructions say to "check every 3 months to make sure its still doing its job and that you may very occasionally need to top up the air". But I thought that meant it would partially deflate every few months. My balloon deflates within a few hours. I removed the balloon and checked it for leaks. I even placed it in my bathtub and used the soapy water test to check for holes. No luck. I couldn't find a single leak. I suppose it could be the cold winter air from inside the chimney that's deflating it. Hmm, so what can I say? From the online reviews it seems to work for others, but not so well for me.

The Ovation Series pillows are great for the 12 count price. However 6 pillows appeared to be creased in the middle and/or discolored as if thet had been either previously used, or poorly repackaged, or both. The cost to return even the six "bad" pillows is as much as the cost of the pillows themselves due to third party reseller return policy on AMAZON. Buyer beware of return policy for sellers OTHER THAN AMAZON. AMAZON is the absolute best at bringing product to market, but one must weigh all alternatives when buying on AMAZON from third parties. This caution is especially true with MEDICAL ITEMS from third party resellers. I think I've figured out a way to use a large zippered fabric bag to stuff with the six pillows that I wanted to return. It should make a fairly nice "pillow throw". However, this is not their intended use and I have learned a useful lesson.

Renaissance 600 Thread-Count Woven Stripe Sheet Set

Okay, this is a tuff one but I will try to be specific because I always check reviews before a purchase. I was shocked that I could even find king size sheets for $39.99 not to mention that they were 600 thread count but I thought I'd give them a try. Reviews were all over the place, but you won't find mine differing too much from them but hopefully a little more specific.

Basically I have to say, I am a little surprised that the sheets, for the price, are a nice weight (heavier than you'd expect), but the reason I stop short of giving them 5 stars is because they are NOT as soft as you would expect 600 thread count sheets to be. I washed them first to get that disgusting 'new sheet' smell out of them, and then made up the bed. We have a very thick pillow-top mattress and the sheets fit them great! I have now washed them a second time and they feel about the same, soft enough, but not like expensive sheets. SO if you are looking for good quality sheets at an amazing price and you are used to using 250-300 thread count sheets, these are the sheets for you. If you are thinking you have hit the mother load with 600 thread count sheets for only $39.99 and expect them to be soft as a baby's bottom, you will be a disappointed. Hope this helps.

November 9, 2010 update: Please do not buy these sheets. Over the past 11 months that I have owned these sheets, they probably have been washed about 20 times because I rotate them with two other sets. They continue to shrink. The bottom sheet no longer fits the bottom of the bed. Undoubtedly this is the worst sheet set that I have ever owned. The remainder of this review is my initial assessment after the first wash, followed by the January 2010 second wash.

There are mixed reviews regarding these sheets. Here is my experience with them.

Before shopping for sheets, it is imperative to know the depth of your mattress. I have a pillowtop with a 2 inch foam pad on top of that, for a total of 14 ¾ inches. I bought these sheets specifically on the basis that they were 600 thread count and because of this statement on the webpage: "The fitted sheet is fully elasticized and has deep 16-inch pockets that will fit today's extra-thick mattresses (up to 18 inches deep). Machine wash and tumble dry for easy care." What I didn't have access to until I received the sheets were the actual washing instructions, which are to (1) machine wash in cold water separately, and (2) tumble dry low. They were made in India.

Putting the sheets on the bed directly from the package, the fitted sheet definitely would fit an 18 inch deep mattress; there was room to spare to the point that I had to tuck in the bottom sheet. There was a nice, shiny sateen finish to the sheets. I was further impressed because the top sheet was ample, to the point that there was a 16 inch drape on each side, and around 5 to 6 inches to tuck in at the bottom. The pillow cases were very ample.

I followed the washing and drying instructions exactly. Naturally, I expected a little shrinkage. However, after the first wash and dry, the bottom sheet now just fits my 14 ¾ inch deep mattress. The top sheet lost length, probably between 3 and four inches, and maybe two inches on the width. The pillow cases are a snugger, but not difficult, fit. This information is provided because if you intend to use these sheets for an 18 inch deep mattress, they may not fit after the first wash. Since they shrank on a low dryer setting, my guess is that you would have to air dry the sheets in order to prohibit shrinkage.

Regarding the sateen finish, it is gone, but the sheets are soft, not scratchy (used a dryer sheet). This is more information than you want, but my husband sleeps sans bedclothes, so you know these sheets have to be soft. Insofar as wrinkles, I take my sheets out immediately; these do not wrinkle too badly, but do not expect wrinkle free. I will be updating this review once I have washed the sheets a couple more times as to whether additional shrinkage occurs.

January 11, 2010 update: Second wash. Remember my mattress measurements (above) and that the first time I washed exactly per instructions. The second time I washed in warm water/cold rinse because I just want the sheets clean plus they shrank so much the first time that they couldn't possibly shrink more, right? Wrong. They shrunk again. I would change my rating to one star because:

1. The bottom sheet now goes on with a struggle. Don't even think of getting these for a mattress of 15-inch depth or more unless you are prepared to clean these sheets with absolutely no heat whatsoever. Even then, they might shrink.

2. The top sheet barely tucks in, both on the length and the width. To get it to tuck in lengthwise, the sheet must be dropped down from the top of the mattress. There's nothing to be done about the problem of the width; the tuck in amount is only about two inches on each side, meaning they will come out fairly easily.

3. There is absolutely no sheen to these sheets now, if that matters to you. At least they are still soft, but in every other way, these sheets are a big disappointment, and I cannot recommend them.

I was skeptical for the price and the few reviews that stated they were rough and not soft enough. Got them a week ago. Pulled out of the package and thought WOW, what were people talking about being scratchy. Washed with softner anyway but don't think really needed.. They are SOOOOOOO nice. Yes, they do wrinkle (ALOT), but didn't bother me and once on the bed smoothed out. We have a temperpedic and they fit great with ample room for the fitted if you have a deep pocket bed. The top sheet is nice and long, tucked it way under the bed. We always have used flannel year round for the softness. So trust me, I was leary. They are so soft. I love crawling into bed. Think I'll go take a nap right now! LOL. I feel they are well worth every penny and will be buying another set!!! Got the cafe' color and it is "golder" in color then the image on my PC. Worked great for me though. Big time recommend.

At first I thought these sheets were fabulous...well made and very luxurious right out of the package. I washed them before putting them on the bed and noticed the fitted sheet was a little snug and the flat sheet barely tucked under at the foot of the bed, but I was so pleased with the material that I decided to keep them and didn't think I could return them after washing. With each weekly washing they have shrunk even more and trying to get the fitted sheet on has become more and more frustrating as it now barely fits the mattress which is a 15" Stearns and Foster from the Estate Collection (just for those of you with the same mattress set considering these sheets) and the flat sheet doesn't tuck in at all. Also, the pillow cases are funky...I use standard size pillows and the cases just cover the length of the pillow but are very wide. While I love the fabric used in these sheets, I would never buy another set and do not recommend them.

I'm completey unsatisfied with the claims about this product. I purchased it because i saw an ad about it in a pregnancy magazine, claiming that it's the best product.....it does NOT work at all. it pushes the belly above the belt and below it. I give it one star because it is a very comfortable belt to wear. I wish they made the top and bottom of the belt with more support so that it could have held everything in place. It's comfortable, it has a great idea with the adjustment tab but it's too short and not a good support in the bottom and top of this belt. I'm a petite size, did not have much belly fat prior to pregnancy, so there you go....if it didn't work for me it will NOT work for someone who has a belly before pregnancy.

I read a bunch of reviews and watched all sorts of promotional videos for the Cinch before ordering it myself. I was certain it was going to be ideal, but I was immediately disappointed. First of all, cinch is not wide enough. When I wear it up around my ribs, as recommended for daytime, it actually ends before my belly button and causes my lower belly to bulge even more. It causes a reverse muffin top. If I wear it lower around my hips a abdomin, it rolls and folds whenever I sit or bend. Plus, it pushes fat out over the top of the cinch instead. Additionally, the flap in the front that is supposed to cover the band and make it seamless is too big for the cinch. The flap hangs below the Velcro that is meant to hold it in place, so in order for it to attach to the Velcro, it has to fold a bit. I've tried the cinch with several different outfits, and it pretty much always shows. It was very expensive and not at all worth it. I purchased a compression nursing tank that does a much better job. I only wear the cinch at night, in bed, a d even then, it is uncomfortable to sleep, so I usually wake up in the middle of the night and remove it. This was the biggest waste of money. I'm not a very heavy woman. Pre pregnancy, I wore a size 8. My current 3 week post partum size is probably a 12, at most. I think the cinch is meant for super skinny women who likely don't even need the compression but want to feel a little less flabby after birth.

I do recommend this product but there are some cons for it. I had my baby in August and so went straight to wearing it about a week postpartum. I sweated like crazy. This thing does not breathe AT ALL. The only other con to this is that is does roll up. Though its pretty stiff, if you sit and slouch at all it will get bends in it that don't go away very easily. I didn't wear it as often as i would have liked but that was only because I got too hot. Honestly it helped me keep good posture, felt great on my back, and I was back down to wearing my pre pregnancy jeans in a couple months. That also has to do with diet and exercise though. I don't think you can totally achieve what you want without a little work. It may sound like I'm being a little negative but I'm just trying to point out the negative things you won't really find on the web site. I am totally pleased with the Cinch though very very much so.

I ordered this when I got a new mattress and my old mattress pad did not fit. I think my mattress is 18 inches deep. It covers the sides and corners and goes beneath the mattress all around. the padding is nice, but does not add significant height to the mattress. The quality of the material around the sides is good and I expect it to hold up well. This is an excellent price for a product of this quality.

Searched high and low for a cotton mattress cover that wasn't waterproof but had some substance to it. Finally found this and took a chance. Very glad I did fits perfectly and is better quality than expected. It has a slight padded effect because it's reversible which is great. Would definitely recommend it.

600 Thread Count Percale Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set, California King, Blue Solid

These sheets are just not what they say they are. The thread count is not 600, and the weave is not percale. I am Home Economics teacher with access to thread counters and can tell that these are sateen with a much lower thread count. That's not necessarily bad, but I didn't want thin sateen. The seller offered me a full refund if I shipped them back at my expense. They are really heavy and would have cost alot to ship back. We emailed back and forth twice, and he finally refunded 60% of my purchase price if I kept the sheets.

This still has me paying $35.00 for something I never would have ordered if the description had been truthful. Maybe that's not alot of money to spend to the seller, but money's tight and California King sheets are a major purchase in our household. He says he has several suppliers so he is just the middle man. I say he is responsible for insuring that he is selling what he says he is.

I really liked the look from the pictures, I wanted that texture to go with my new living room set. I just received these pillows today (bought two for love seat) so I cannot comment on how they hold up over time, however, I can tell you that they are incredibly soft. They have (in my opinion) a perfect firmness. They have some give but can still easily support your head or body. The front side has a very cool looking ripple texture with the faux fur and the backside is plain black cloth (still very soft) almost making these reversible pillows.

I highly, highly recommend these pillows to anyone looking to add some texture to a black themed anything, or anyone who just wants an amazing soft cuddle pillow at night. I'm even looking to buy some other designs from the same company due to how much I am liking these pillows so far.

This pillow is very soft and silky feeling unlike most faux fur material. The back side is suede like and soft as well. The pillow has a shine to it as well and is overall great quality, very pleased for the low cost.
