I've gone through TONS of pillows...so I basically gave up on trying to find the perfect pillow. One day while at an Ashley furniture store, I came across this pillow while testing mattresses....IMMEDIATELY I knew this was THE pillow. It was no ordinary memory foam pillow. I had no idea what the pillow was or how to buy it (none were on display) so I asked and they said they'd order some for me. Two months later, still no pillow, so I canceled my order with Ashley and looked to Amazon where I should have begun in the first place (I swear I get a shipment from Amazon every other day LOL).

I've had this pillow for several weeks now and it delivers. Very breathable for a memory foam pillow! Never too hot. Only thing is it takes several days, maybe even longer, for the 'foam' smell to dissipate. It's a bit strong at first, but leave it out for a few days before using and you'll be fine if you can't take it...it didn't bother me that much. The construction is TOP NOTCH. Quality design and fabric....really cool cover/case that comes over the memory foam to protect it.

Yes it's pricey and should be cheaper, but it was totally worth it for me. An excellent purchase!!!

I'm a big guy, so I assume my head probably weighs as much as a bowling ball. Before this pillow I had the worst time sleeping because my head would sink to the mattress. With this pillow my head has never sunk past where it should actually be aligned when laying down and I've slept much better.

The only con is that it smells like old potatoes for a few days. I propped mine up against a dresser and kept a fan on it for a while, it seemed to help.

I have been sleeping on memory foam pillows for several years now and I've gotten to where I can't sleep without it. For years I've slept on one I bought at Sears for around $20 that was a simple traditional shaped memory foam pillow with none of the extra frills of this one save for a fairly decent cover. I loved this $20 pillow and only wanted buy this one because I had the chance to see what it felt like at some charity event. Once I did I knew I had to have it. This thing is a big step up and totally worth the extra money. The cover is very high quality and adds to the overall comfort of the pillow. If you know what to expect from a memory foam pillow and have slept on them and enjoyed them then you won't be disappointed with this one. It is breathable and feels a bit more springy and cushiony than my old one but in a good way. To me it makes it seems slightly softer without losing that lovely conforming.

**If you have never slept on one before here are some things to consider.

1. Memory foam pillows can seem quite heavy compared to normal fluffy cotton filled pillows.

2. When you first buy it there may be sort of a slight rubbery kind of smell. It goes away with time.

3. When they get really cold they can become very hard/stiff until the heat of your head warms it up or they spend some time in a warm environment which makes it feel soft again(example: you had the pillow in your trunk traveling in winter and when you took it out it felt very "brick-like"). (This I have NOT experienced on this particular pillow yet since I live in Florida and it just hasn't gotten cold enough)

4. At first you might feel like it seems kind of firm, but this is because you are used to a totally different kind of texture in your pillows. Give it a week, you won't regret it. These type of pillows are meant to conform to the natural contours of your head and in actuality it feels pretty soft once you get used to it, yet it is firm enough to support. (I simply can't go back to the old kind anymore!)

Although this pillow seems a little too firm it doesn't take very long to fall asleep. And that's a good thing. For the past several years I've had a very difficult time falling asleep and staying asleep. Every time I turned over I'd wake up. Since I bought this pillow I've been sleeping deeper and waking more refressed. My neice and sister in law also brought this pillow and they are equally pleased with their sleep results.
