Z by Malouf 100% Natural Talalay Latex Contour Neck Pillow

This pillow is ultra soft and comfortable. The cover is super nice and easy to remove and wash. I would recommend this for people who want a a contoured pillow that conforms to the head a little bit more than a regular pillow for a little extra support, but don't want a stiff ridged contour that's too firm or high and holds up your head too much. I would recommend airing the pillow out or putting it in the dryer on low heat with a dryer sheet to help get rid of the new latex smell. But, after a day or two, it's fine.

This is a very, very soft pillow. In fact, it is the softest latex I think I have ever seen(softer than the ILD 14 topper on my bed). It is only about 3" high, which is low for a contour pillow--that is why I purchased it. It is a high quality item, but very soft. My head goes flat on the mattress when using it.

Please Malouf, don't ever stop making this pillow. Don't change a thing. It is perfect. The latex in this pillow is sooo soft. It feels softer than 14 ILD, like sleeping on a cloud. The size of the pillow and its' contours fit my short neck beautifully. I have no neck pain in the morning. For years I have used an old homemedic small memory foam contour pillow that is no longer made. I have tried to replace it with something similar simply due to the pillows age but have not found any pillows that are soft enough and work with my short neck...until now. Fantastic. I love it!

Pillow is 22 by 14 inches.

Pillow height: big side is 4 inches, little side is 3.25 inches and in-between it's 3 inches.

I'm a guy with a regular-sized head, and this pillow seems to hold my head up fine.

Compared to my old Tempurpedic, this natural talalay is super soft and light and very springy, but it still feels supportive.

There is an odor when new, but that's typical for natural latex. After a week I can't smell it through the pillow case.

Seems strange to submit a glowing review since my last pillow review was for a very firm, thick memory foam pillow. Pillow comfort is very subjective and it seems even our physiology changing affects our satisfaction. Since this pillow is smaller, thinner, and hole-filled, I had to throw caution to the wind to buy it, but I'd just returned two top-quality memory foam types. With two refreshing nights of deep sleep on this, i will say I'm more than happy with the Talalay latex material and Z Malouf stands for quality! The two times I've called the company I've been greeted quickly and personably by "Mike" and he's answered every question. The pillowcase is lovely quality and this contour pillowcase has a horizontal zipper across the back which ensures easy removal and reinsertion of the pillow. There is even a quality inner "envelope" for the latex to prevent "grabbing" of the foam when removing and replacing the case.

Talalay foam qualities: cool, untra soft and cushioning, "bouncy", but not objectionably so, and much lower than memory foam I've used. Because I live with a neck injury, I have to awaken with no stiffness in my neck, and the Talalay latex has performed perfectly.
