I just got back from a trip to Hawaii. This product made traveling so much easier. In particular the fact that you can attach the neck clasp makes the product into a forward leaning pillow. I can lean back in the airplane seat, wrap the neck rest around with the space/opening in back, click the clasp closed, then allow my head to rest FORWARD. The only other solution like that are those huge lap pillows (for example: Skyrest Travel Pillow ) no thanks. This made sleep on an airplane possible for the first time for me.

I do recommend becoming familiar/comfortable with unhooking the clasp before securing it or you could have difficulty figuring it out. It is very simple once you see it there is a button on the side of the clasp that will release it.

The pillow is velvety soft and very malleable. Couldn't be happier!

As a big traveler who splits time between a home in the US and a job in Europe, I've tried my share of travel pillows. The quality I this one is far and above the best I've had. I am a larger guy, 6'1" 200lbs and this is still slightly to short to support my head as much as I'd like, but a vast improvement over the competitors. The soft finish and temprapedic construction are very comfortable and it squeezes nicely into a small carry bag (included).

I travel for my job. Plus I move to a new country every 2 years. And in 10 years of this I have never found a pillow to equal this one! I adore it! I'm going to get one for my mom, who travels to see me about once a year.

We recently completed an international move, and knowing I am always the last person to be able to sleep (even a wink) on a plane and get very frustrated because of this watching everyone else snooze away wondering how they do it, I went on a hunt for the ultimate travel pillow. After a week of research I decided upon this one. Seriously, a week! I watched youtube videos, read reviews here on Amazon, asked questions, read blogs. I decided to order this straight from the manufacturer because I needed it FAST and they were willing to ship immediately to me so it would arrive before my flight. I had only a few weeks left to go, and was overseas don't forget which means mail is very unpredictable.

I was blown away at the caring personal responses I received from the company. They sent my order the day I ordered it, expediting it just out of the kindness of their hearts. All of that is well and good, but would mean little in the long run if their product didn't live up to it's price tag and promises, right? Well I am here to tell you, it blew my mind. I ordered just one, as my Husband, who does not have sleep issues on aircraft, declined my offer to get him one too. Mine was the "Crimson" color. What a beauty! The fabric was soft and velvety, like a baby blanket. The color was vibrant and rich. The construction was top notch. The memory foam material was very high quality, very plush yet firm and just right for my needs. The earplugs it came with were really nice, and the ipod pocket was fun. I used it only for earplug storage though. It is a versatile product, leaving the user with multiple methods of wearing in case one isn't to your liking. For example, mine felt more comfy with the clip in front (to my surprise) rather than having the clip behind me. Both ways supported my chin and head nicely, but I really appreciated having options. I appreciated being able to tilt my head slightly, as if sleeping on my side on a pillow, if I desired. I wasn't forced into a straight necked position, but could if I wanted to. Everyone is different, after all! Most importantly, it never forced my head forward like other inferior pillows do. I hate that! This pillow was awesome and allowed my neck stay in alignment with the rest of me.

Let's just say, by the time the flight began my Husband was eyeballing my pillow with a certain longing, hehe, but of course wouldn't allow me to let him borrow it despite my offering! He is so sweet. He said later to me that he regretted not getting one, despite his ability to sleep on aircraft easily, because it just looked so comfy! When I wasn't sleeping I sat on it and cushioned the terrible seats. I used it to sleep between flights too, in the airports. The tiny bag it comes with really does contain it well, and has held up despite me thinking it wouldn't. It takes a lot of pressure from the squashed up pillow inside, when cinched shut. Impressive. I cannot stress the comfort of this pillow enough. Since then, I have been known to take it in the car on trips, heck, one night in a hotel with uncomfy pillows I even used it in bed. The designers truly nailed this one, and should I ever have to travel overseas again, I will be buying one for my Hubby too. In closing, this pillow was so comfy, I felt terrible using it next to my neighbor on the flight on the other side of my Hubby, whose head kept painfully falling and jerking forward as he tried to sleep. At one point, I even offered it to him hehe. I felt so bad using it knowing how comfy I looked and how much he was struggling! Please, don't be this guy on your next flight! Buy this pillow and prepare to be impressed, comfy, and then, blissfully asleep.

I like a lot of the functionality around this pillow. I had been looking for a product with a thinner back area so that it doesn't force my head to lean forward and one that will fully support my neck all the way up to my chin so my head doesn't lead to the side. On both of these points, the product hits home. It is also fairly compact and easy to travel with.

However, I think for the price, the material does have a bit of the foam smell that others complained about and I also got a bit of black dust from the cover on some of my shirts. I suppose if I give the cover a wash it will be better. I also thought the carry pouch looked a bit cheap, again relative to the price of the product. Not something I like to have dangling on my work travel suitcase.

Being the only travel pillow with the kind of functionality I am looking for, I do like my purchase. I do think there are areas to improve and make it a higher quality product.
