Ordered this set for my 8yr old daughter who was getting a bedroom makeover to a more grown up theme. It arrived before the date given to us and when we received it the comforter was actually red and navy instead of red and black. Called Lantix the day it arrived and gave them the order number and told them we received the wrong comforter and they shipped a new one to us. We received it two days later and it was correct along with a return shipping label to send back the wrong one. It's fantastic looking and she is so excited that she can turn the comforter over and change the color whenever she wants. It's a thin microfiber but fits her bed wonderfully and is exceptionally soft. The towel set is perfect and is big enough for her and she now has her own set that she loves. This was great for the money spent when considering how much more we would have paid for each piece individually. Dropped a star because it wasn't correct the first time we received it but they resolved the issue in a timely manner and we didn't have to wait long at all.

First let me say that although we ordered a Black/Red set, we ended up with a Navy Blue/Red set. So, these comments are about the Navy Blue/Red set. A "star" was knocked off for sending us the wrong item.

Many manufacturers including this one say that their bedding fits a campus dorm's extra long twin beds. Usually, they don't. This set was a mixed bag. The thin mattress pad did not fit. It was extremely tight and hard to put on. It ended up being an inch too short, but we finally got it on. The fitted sheet was a little better. It did fit, though it was not easy to put on. Since these dorm beds have very thin mattresses, some people like to add a thicker "pillow top" to the mattress. This sheet would have not accommodated any more padding. My son said the feel of the sheets was fine and he didn't seem to have any problems washing or drying the sheets. He has not washed the comforter or sham yet nor the towel set, so I can't comment on them yet.

I bought these dorm sheets for my dorm since it came in a great package (size Twin XL etc) but if you're one of those who always slept in soft material these may not be the best for you. I washed it once and it felt better but it still isn't the greatest quality you'd find. But that's reasonable for the price i suppose. I received a color sheet i didn't like and they exchanged it immediately, so pretty good customer service. All in all, you buy what you get for your price as always.

We missed the deadline for purchasing the bedding offered thru my son's school store at least for getting the color/pattern he wanted (they were totally sold out). After lots of internet searching, we finally found this set. I was a little worried that there might be a mixup in what was sent, from the other customer's reviews. But there was no problem, no mixup at all.

In fact, we called the company to see if they could delay the shipping for about 10 days because of mailroom issues at the school. They could not have been nicer or more helpful. I had visions of the school sending it back because it arrived too early, but all for nothing. It came right on time, and the day before we needed it.

As to the bedding itself: none of the dorm sets I've ever seen have been top notch quality, except if you spend a fortune, which we weren't willing to do. Towels are a bit thin and the pillow case had a small tear at the seam (easily sewn up). However, for a dorm room, it's perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product. Don't expect top quality, but you're not paying top dollar, either. I imagine it will last well for a few years, which is all we can ask for.
