Sunset and Vine Kennedy 6-Piece XL Twin Comforter Set, Black/White

I bought this comforter two years ago for when I went to college and I am still using it! I have washed it before and there has been NO fading of the colors or random gray blotches! I will admit that it is not the softest comforter I have ever slept with but it is by no means uncomfortable! It is not scratchy at all especially with the more use it gets. Yes the green on the inside is kind of different, but it is a beautiful shade and I have other lime green accessories and they blend perfectly!

After reading the reviews i was on the fence about purchasing this comforter set, but i went ahead and did it. When the comforter came in it was wrinkled and did not look appealing. I put in the dryer and fluffed it up and it turned out beautiful. I wouldn't recommend washing in the washing machine just in case colors might bleed, i took mine to get dry cleaned. This is a GREAT deal for the price. I am very happy with my new comforter set.

I purchased this for my daughter's bed at college and was expecting more than a big box store kind of quality to it based on the price. The fabric was stiff and cheap feeling, I washed it thinking it would soften up a bit, and that made it worse. How? Not only was it still stiff, but threads were coming out all over the place.

I should have gone to the box store and paid $20 for a better quality comforter. Had to keep it because I washed it, so I just told my daughter she had to deal with the icky feeling comforter for now.

This product was absolutely gorgeous...UNTIL I WASHED IT ONCE! The black turned to grey in spots (very noticeable) on the FIRST wash. The second wash I did by hand (assuming I was to blame the first go around) and it turned out worse than putting it in my machine. My amazingly beautiful comforter is now GREY and dingy white rather than the black and white I was obviously going for. One of the shams completely lost a zipper in the washing process as well. I'm not happy! Saying all of that, I will say that if you plan to NEVER EVER wash any piece of the set...it's great! Maybe not the quality that you'll expect but pretty nonetheless.

I love the outside print on this set, but the green in the stripes is totally unmatchable, be wary if you want to find matching color it is a very strange shade of green. It is big and fluffy and came all wrinkled that fell out in a few days, still wish the inside was different
