Lenox Butterfly Meadow Comforter Set, Taupe

Well. I must be a little color blind because I expected a bit more of a pink color. Upon really good inspection of not only individual pictures and the despribed color (taupe) I see that the set is exactly as described and shown in the stock photo. I did end up returning it because it wasnt what I wanted but I have to give it a 5 anyways because the set was still beautiful. I could also tell just by the feel and look of it that this was a set that could indeed go into a washing machine which is a major plus. I am not much of a neutral person in the first place but the set just looked so pretty in the photos I tried anyways. So this didnt work for me, but if I was into those colors, this would be an absolutely beautiful set. Amazon was wonderful with the return and the set arrived to me in 24 hours as stated. I would definantly recomend this set. But as I said pay attention to color. It is more of a few different shades of brown. The peices I perceived as pink are also more in the mauve line of color than pink. It is a pink with a purple undertone.

It's prettier than the picture indicates I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The embroidered band of butterflies is only across the head of the bed, which is fine, but it is so thick that it's a little warm for NC most of the year. Good winter weight, if you like your nights cool (my husband says it's freezing). Gorgeous, well made, really completes our bedroom look. Great job Lenox and Amazon! Amazon had the best price I found for this comforter set, with their reliability too it was an easy choice!

I was not completely satisfied with my purchase of the Lenox Butterfly Meadow comforter set because the description of the product states there are feather filled pillows included and there are no pillows included. The set includes comforter, bed skirt and two pillow shams. I am going to keep it anyway, but the description for the product needs to be changed.

I have washed this comforter already and it really washes very well. stayed in shape and did fit into my washer even though it was california king sized.

This comforter is amazing! I bought it at a store so I was able to see the color in person. I think it is a bit lighter and neutral in color than what the picture shows (even the picture on the bag looks completely different)... Not so Purplely. It is also a nice size. A lot of comforters hardly fall of the sides of a bed, but this one has some slack for sleeping. I was a bit sceptical about getting it because I sleep with my 2 year old daughter and it's so light colored...but... best purchace I have made! This comforter is so soft and comfy. And it keeps you nice and warm! Well worth it! The only thing that I really want to complain about is the embroidered butterflys. They are super shiny and the colors are bold, and kinda make them stick out in an ugly way against the nice floral backround... but thats personal preference I guess. Some people complain That the shams are very thin... Do people actually sleep on shams? Because I don't. So I don't see that as a big deal. They also say it is pretty expensive for what it is. I think it's wonderful for the price. I live very frugal and have learned what "cheap" feels like. I have wasted money on a lot of bedding just because it was a cheaper price. That being said, splurging on a nice comforter is well worth it. Plus there are way more expensive ones out there. I would definitely reccomend this comoforter.
