I bought the regular Visco(the white one) and this one for myself and a family member, they say some people are allergic to the new smell and what not but i didnt have a problem with either. My main concern is that the this green one is noticably softer than the regular Visco even though they are both noted as 3lb density per cubic foot. Ive had the green one for two weeks now and the white one for 2 days, its possible that there is quality loss in the green one but i dont think so because i noticed the green one being this soft from the first day. Anyways i like the white one more because it is firmer and gives better support for me. Hope this helps anyone considering between the two.

Why are people sending in bad reviews on this? I almost didn't buy it because of it. I'm glad i didn't listen. It's simple...you unbox it, remove the plastic and it automatically goes into shape. The smell...out of the box the smell is very light mint, like toothpaste only not as strong as the toothpaste. On the bed with the sheet over it, no smell at all. ODOR is not a problem. I have Fibromyalgia, for those that have it you know how horrible the pain is when you wake up and very hard too sleep. In one nights use, wake up...almost no pain at all. Just slightly. NO MORE TOSSING AND TURNING BECAUSE OF THE PAIN NEITHER. Best sleep i have had in a very long time and when someone sits on the bed or moves around a lot, you don't feel it on your side and it will not wake you up. Less pain means less pain medication. I love it. Sleeps perfectly. I bought a queen and it fits on my mattress perfectly. It was cheaper than the white one that's why I bought this one. Very glad that I did. Money very-well spent. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

I bought this based on the positive reviews and because I also have their viscofresh contoured pillow (which I do recommend). The problem with the topper, though, is that it is NOT the same material as what I have in the pillow. Though it has the same green tea/mint smell, there is no memory effect whatsoever. I can lie down or hold my hand on the topper for as long as I want but the foam bounces right back up. This seems to be just regular foam and NOT memory foam. Because of it, I've been waking up with terrible back pain the last week/2 weeks that I've had it. For more information, look up other products from Sleep Studio and it looks like they've recently changed their lines or dropped the ball on quality control.

I purchased the queen size of this topper specifically for doubling and cutting it to make a window seat pad. It is Excellent! There was ample left over to otufit my antique rocker with new seat and back cushions as well. It's a firm foam, but with plenty of 'cushy'. The best seats in the house are now in our dining nook! That said, I was so pleased with this topper that I then ordered a full-sized one for my bed to replace a ready-to-recycle feather topper. I was so excited today when it arrived, but the second I picked up the box I knew something was amiss. It was too lightweight to be the same thing I'd received last week. The label on the box had the correct item number, but the foam on this full-sized topper is NOT a 3 lb density. It took all of 2 seconds for it to spring to life, while the queen sized one took almost an hour to expand. The full-sized one is a completely different (very dark teal green) color, and does not have the green tea infusion. The full-sized one holds an impression for maybe a second. I compared a piece of the queen sized one with the full sized one I just received, and the difference in density is visible.

KUDOS to "Mani" in customer service, who is sending another one out to me. I'm hopeful I can revise this review and that this is just an isolated 'mix up' from the factory. I should have ordered another queen size and cut it down to fit, but was hoping to save a few minutes. The item should be a pale minty green, and should hold an impression for several seconds.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!! The replacement full-sized one arrived, and I didn't even remove it from the box, as it was the exact strange foam topper that I was trying to have replaced. THEN MICHAEL FROM SLEEP STUDIO stepped in!!! He immediately was grateful that I had questioned the difference in quality, and went about solving the problem at the factory level. I did return the inferior ones back to amazon for a refund, and Sleep Studio sent me a PERFECT full-sized, green-tea infused 2-inch 3 lb. topper. Sleep Studio stands behind their products and their reputation!!!! THANK YOU!
