Bed Sheet Set - Queen Size - Black

They are not Egyptian. They are not 1200 thread count. They are not cotton. They are synthetic polymers, from China, badly stitched, and badly dyed (different pieces of the set are not quite the same color). There's really nothing at all to recommend them.

Purchasing this item was a complete mistake and disaster! Certainly too good to be true! The mistake was believing that 1200 count sheets would only cost $35.

The disaster was when the product arrived. The ad stated 1200 count and the package arrived otherwise. 1) The sheets we marked on the package

"J Sanders Collection" "1500 Thread Count", "100% Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set".

Well nothing could be further from the truth!

2) The color didn't even match the advertising! The sheets are maybe 100 count at best! Ad image/stated "SAGE", what arrived was olive green.

3) Last I checked the labels should match the brand, and certainly didn't.

4) Not even "Deep Pocket"!

I posted a less than favorable review of product. And requested to return product, if shipping for return would be covered. However, the seller first offered a refund if I removed negative comment. I declined. The seller has refunded the entire cost (I believe... as I paid partial Amazon Gift card and credit card, I see the credit on my visa, not so sure about gift card). I still have sheets sitting in the package they arrived in and most likely use as items to take to the beach and camping.

I write this review so others can be aware and not fooled by the seller. Buyer's proceed with caution.

This is very disappointing and frankly the process has me turned off with purchasing from Amazon.

There is nothing wrong with these sheets. but, i was expecting sheets like the 800 thread count or more that I've gotten at macy's or tjmaxx. these are micro-thread, and you can almost see through them. The feel ok on the bed, but they don't feel luxurious; they don't make me want to cuddle into the bed.

Are they worth $20-something dollars? I suppose they are, but don't think you are getting a great deal. There are lots of great deals on Amazon. This just isn't one of them.

These sheets are really a poor quality. They are paper thin, and I mean THIN! The elastic around the fitted sheet is really thin and stretched out. I had to sew new elastic all around the edges to get the sheets to stop pulling off. However, I must say that when I contacted customer service they were very nice and did offer a substantial credit. Not all of the cost, because I had washed and used the sheets, but enough to make me satisfied (not with the sheets, just the transaction). So, if you are looking for high quality sheets....keep looking!

I have been thinking about what to write in terms of a review, because on the one hand I feel as though these were misleading i.e., I thought I was getting Egyptian cotton sheets at an unbelievable price. I am quite sure, however, that they are not even cotton; the specifications, if you look carefully, state that they are microfiber grains. So, if you are determined to have a high thread count Egyptian cotton sheet set, these are probably not for you. On the other hand, however, I love these sheets and I am glad I bought them. The color is lovely (mine are the gold ones) and it hasnt faded after two washes. No pilling, either. The feel of them is WONDERFUL! Absolutely wonderful and this is coming from someone who is somewhat picky in terms of wanting cotton sheets with a decent thread count to sleep on. The finish is not great; but they arent coming apart, either. The price is fantastic and I have ordered two more sets from this seller. Four stars because the headline is misleading and the finish isnt great *** Follow up after several months of use: Although I initally loved these sheets, after several months of use I am going to get rid of them. For the price, they're okay but just "okay". They started pilling badly after a couple of months and they are rough feeling now. I will not be buying any more of them. I reduced the rating to three stars due to their short life.

Pros:

Firmness helps with support, large cut out for the Coccyx, slanted, quality foam material and has a handle.

I'm a desk jockey, so I sat on this for 8+ hours a day and my hip flexors and coccyx are infitnitely better than without sitting on this for 8+ hours a day.

Without the pressure on my Coccyx, I've been able to sit with a more natural upright posture, rather than a slouched posture. Very happy :D

Cons:

It's ugly and has no cover

Personally I found this too soft, I pretty much sank in it, but my mom prefers this more to the RelaxoBak. Probably because of the donut hole and very soft.

Pros:

Very new age design with lots of functions, ie donut hole for your butt, slits and rounded corners for your thighs

The second layer of foam, which is "high quality" so the say...I thought it was the lowest quality foam. Cheap, and the foam felt like the foam used to just take up some space.

Wow! What a great seat cushion. I purchased because I sit in front of a computer all day and my tailbone starts aching even before my first coffee break! I've been using the Kabooti cushion for about five days now and what a difference it makes. I've tried the basic donut ring but they're too wobbly, and the more traditional slanted seat cushions make me feel like I'm slipping off my chair. But the Kabooti's unique shape is just right. It provides an unbeatable sense of stability! The coccyx cutout protects my tailbone from painful pressure build-up. It's an incredibly comfortable seat cushion and I would recommend it to anyone who has a hard time sitting. I like it so much, I'm going to order another one for my car!

The pillow in the picture is quite striking. Unfortunately, the back half is completely blank and that is not in the description. Seems like a big issue to leave out, but it may account for the good price, you are actually buying 1/2 a pillow.

I was so excited to get this pillow but when I opened the box up and saw what was inside, I was pretty disappointed. Especially considering the amount of money I spent on it. I was expecting a large body pillow. I knew it wasn't going to be very wide or long like most body pillows, but it didn't really come with a lot of padding. It doesn't have much cuddle value to it. So basically, I bought a pillow for fifty dollars only as eye candy for my bed. As a pillow, it fails. Still, Sebastian is pretty hot and I needed another pillow anyway, even if it is more flat than I care for.

This seems to be a pretty nice pillow but it is NOT rust orange, or any kind of orange. It is red. Not bright x-mas red, but not even close to orange. Returning, don't appreciate the misleading picture and description.

I bought the regular Visco(the white one) and this one for myself and a family member, they say some people are allergic to the new smell and what not but i didnt have a problem with either. My main concern is that the this green one is noticably softer than the regular Visco even though they are both noted as 3lb density per cubic foot. Ive had the green one for two weeks now and the white one for 2 days, its possible that there is quality loss in the green one but i dont think so because i noticed the green one being this soft from the first day. Anyways i like the white one more because it is firmer and gives better support for me. Hope this helps anyone considering between the two.

Why are people sending in bad reviews on this? I almost didn't buy it because of it. I'm glad i didn't listen. It's simple...you unbox it, remove the plastic and it automatically goes into shape. The smell...out of the box the smell is very light mint, like toothpaste only not as strong as the toothpaste. On the bed with the sheet over it, no smell at all. ODOR is not a problem. I have Fibromyalgia, for those that have it you know how horrible the pain is when you wake up and very hard too sleep. In one nights use, wake up...almost no pain at all. Just slightly. NO MORE TOSSING AND TURNING BECAUSE OF THE PAIN NEITHER. Best sleep i have had in a very long time and when someone sits on the bed or moves around a lot, you don't feel it on your side and it will not wake you up. Less pain means less pain medication. I love it. Sleeps perfectly. I bought a queen and it fits on my mattress perfectly. It was cheaper than the white one that's why I bought this one. Very glad that I did. Money very-well spent. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

I bought this based on the positive reviews and because I also have their viscofresh contoured pillow (which I do recommend). The problem with the topper, though, is that it is NOT the same material as what I have in the pillow. Though it has the same green tea/mint smell, there is no memory effect whatsoever. I can lie down or hold my hand on the topper for as long as I want but the foam bounces right back up. This seems to be just regular foam and NOT memory foam. Because of it, I've been waking up with terrible back pain the last week/2 weeks that I've had it. For more information, look up other products from Sleep Studio and it looks like they've recently changed their lines or dropped the ball on quality control.

I purchased the queen size of this topper specifically for doubling and cutting it to make a window seat pad. It is Excellent! There was ample left over to otufit my antique rocker with new seat and back cushions as well. It's a firm foam, but with plenty of 'cushy'. The best seats in the house are now in our dining nook! That said, I was so pleased with this topper that I then ordered a full-sized one for my bed to replace a ready-to-recycle feather topper. I was so excited today when it arrived, but the second I picked up the box I knew something was amiss. It was too lightweight to be the same thing I'd received last week. The label on the box had the correct item number, but the foam on this full-sized topper is NOT a 3 lb density. It took all of 2 seconds for it to spring to life, while the queen sized one took almost an hour to expand. The full-sized one is a completely different (very dark teal green) color, and does not have the green tea infusion. The full-sized one holds an impression for maybe a second. I compared a piece of the queen sized one with the full sized one I just received, and the difference in density is visible.

KUDOS to "Mani" in customer service, who is sending another one out to me. I'm hopeful I can revise this review and that this is just an isolated 'mix up' from the factory. I should have ordered another queen size and cut it down to fit, but was hoping to save a few minutes. The item should be a pale minty green, and should hold an impression for several seconds.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!! The replacement full-sized one arrived, and I didn't even remove it from the box, as it was the exact strange foam topper that I was trying to have replaced. THEN MICHAEL FROM SLEEP STUDIO stepped in!!! He immediately was grateful that I had questioned the difference in quality, and went about solving the problem at the factory level. I did return the inferior ones back to amazon for a refund, and Sleep Studio sent me a PERFECT full-sized, green-tea infused 2-inch 3 lb. topper. Sleep Studio stands behind their products and their reputation!!!! THANK YOU!

It definitely looks good on picture. But its not a very good quality at all. I have to learn to read the description. This is a scratchy feeling textile and one you do not want on your bed.

Update: Ok so i am updating this as i have found out a way to make this decent. First off when you recieve it, its all crinkled so it doesnt look very good when you put it on your bed. Not like the picture above. I happen to have a steamer that i use for my clothes. I decided to do this for the comforter. After doing that, it looks much better. The quality is still not up to par when you touch it, but its not horrible either. It definitely looks good from afar, its when you sit on it or touch it that you know its not a good quality. They did fortunatly make the inside of the comforter a bit more smoother than the outside. Which is not that bad if you have good sheets anyway.

So i am giving it a 3 star since i realized you can take away the crinkleness of it. When you do that, it does look much better. Quality is still sub-par but the looks is there.

Considering the low ratings, I was very hesitant to order this. But, it had exactly the look I was going for, so decided to try it anyway. I'm so glad I did! It's so much nicer than the price would lead you to believe I was expecting much cheaper construction and really just thought it would be an interim set to get us by until we found a high dollar one. That's not going to be the case because this is so nice. Of course it's wrinkly when you take it out of the plastic most packaged fabric is. We took the comforter in to our dry cleaner and they streamed those wrinkles out in just a few minutes and it only cost a few bucks. I ironed the shams and bedskirt myself in about 10 minutes on low heat under a lightly misted towel and they look fabulous. It has nice "heft" and neither looks nor feels cheap. Our biggest complaint is that it's smaller than I would have liked but then I prefer an oversized comforter. Very pleased with this big set especially for such a low price.

I started out with salad hands, but disliked them due to thickness and awkward handling. I replaced them with these tossers, and am delighted. They are lightweight, and are cut at an odd angle, which is hard to tell from the photo. The angle is perfect when the tossers are actually in use. I am very pleased with this product.

My 30+ year old set of salad servers got dropped and one piece cracked. Looked for weeks for a nice replacement and these are just right. The spoon has enough of a bowl to be functional--something many other sets were missing. I like to measure the salad dressing into the spoon to control volume. Nice looking, too.

These salad servers were appealing to me because I knew that their angle would make them easier to use in a bowl. But the fork and spoon angles should be mirror images of teach other. As they are made, they are two ellipses that don't match up when they are held in your opposing hands. Stacked on top of each other (back of fork to front of spoon) they match. That's backwards for practical purposes. Otherwise a nice quality and weight.

I bought this set for my 12 year old daughter. The pillows ripped easily and so did the bedspread. When washed, the black stripes on the bedspread began to come off. It looks like the stripes have melted almost. I would not recommend this comforter set.

This is very poorly made and I would not buy it again. Seams are ripping apart and there are big holes in it.

Bought this as a gift and my boyfriends loves it. Filling is very plush and soft but the fabric could be better quality and a lot softer. We use it in our queen size bed to seperate us. Yeah, but is a a perfect barrier to keep his arms from hitting in while he is asleep. Lol.

My dinosaur-crazy kindergartner was thrilled to open up this bedding set as a birthday gift. He's a little boy who is rarely gentle with bedding (and he tends to have endless runny and bloody noses at night), so I wanted something reasonably priced and reasonably durable for him to enjoy. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sheets. In relatively inexpensive bedding sets like this, the sheets tend to be thin and scratchy. His sheets seem smooth and moderately thick, even after several washes.

The patterns on both the comforter and sheets are very cute. It has been wonderful so far!

I ordered two of these for my boys' new room. They're 2 and 4 so I didn't want to get something that was super expensive since I'm sure they're bound to ruin it eventually anyways. The set is really cute and my boys love them. They're definitely a good value.

My set arrived promptly and in excellent condition. This is a great value for the price. I didn't want to spend a lot for my spare bedroom which is my grandchildren's room when they stay with me. Kids are rough so if something happens I won't be out lots of money. It doesn't come with a bedskirt but that isn't necessarily needed on some beds. Mine needs a bedskirt but I already have one that coordinates nicely. But if you don't have one and your bed requires one, you will need to pick one up.

I ordered these sets for my sons' bunkbeds and they are super cute. I also bought the Rampage fleece blankets in orange and turquoise and those match perfectly! Those are available on Amazon, too. The only way I would change dinosaur set is the sheets. They are bright white and will show stains or dirt easily, but we can live with that.
