Bought this product to protect a mattress and it is too thin of vinyl. Didn't fit quite well over the mattress and ripped by the zipper when I tried to get it to stretch it a little bit to get it to zip. For the most part it's an ok product as I will use it until I can get one that fits properly.

I bought two covers...one for a full-size mattress and one for the matching box springs. While the covers fit well and went on easily, they did not do the job I had intended them for. I stored the mattress set with someone who smokes. I was hoping the covers would keep the smoke smell from being so strong and they didn't. After a couple of days, all bed linens had to be laundered and finally ended up buying a new mattress set. I am sure these would be great for a younger child in keeping the mattress dry in case of accidents.

Regal 300 Thread-Count Zebra Print Sheet Set

I got these sheets in the full size probably about 3 months ago tops, and I absolutely love them, they're very cute and I'm always getting compliments on them, and they look great with my burgundy colored bedspread. Very soft and comfy, almost feel like flannel but they're not obviously. ONLY downside is after only 3 months they're starting to get dingy and creating those little tiny "balls" in the place I sleep most. So that makes me think the quality isn't as good as I thought, but I still love them. Might just have to buy new ones :)

I loved these sheets 6 months ago. I based my purchase on the several good reviews and the problem with some reviewers is that they put up reviews so quickly, they don't give things like sheets time to see if they will hold up. I like to wait, especially when as we all know, over time bad sheets will start to ball up.

I purchased 3 sets of sheets all around the same time, so I am not only using these sheets. I am using 2 other sets of sheets, so imagine if I were only using these and how frequently they would have to be washed, how quick they woould've started balling up.

The shiny soft look doesn't last.

I should've known at the price that they were not going to hold up long. They are no longer soft, I feel like I am sleeping on little crumbs. I constantly swipe my hand across hoping to wipe all it off. I am just in denial I guess, of the fact that it's just my sheets & it's not coming off.

I ordered the cupcake comforter for my daughter, within a few days of placing my order I went back to look at possibly ordering matching throw pillows. I then saw that the cupcake comforter had gone down in price from what I paid just days earlier. I called customer service and asked for a credit for the difference and I was told that Amazon does not do that.

My advice to anyone wanting to order this comforter set is to watch the price and purchase when you feel it is at it's lowest. I learned from this experience to check several different sites before placing an order. Ordering from Amazon is nice as you can find things you don't see in a Kohl's or typical department store but the downside is that if the price goes lower -as a customer you are out of luck !!

The cupcake comforter is nice but the pillow cases are on the small side and I have not been able to find matching pillow shams.. I will have to go with a solid pink for shams and for a bedskirt and purchase them elsewhere as they are not offered with this comforter set. You will get 2 small pillow cases and a comforter. The quality of the comforter appears to be very nice and is super soft, I have not washed as of yet, so I don't know how it will hold up.

I just received my new rose tree bedding in the mail and I cant wait to cuddle in my bed tonight. It is so soft. I only have one complaint and that is in the product description I was lead to beleive that the decrative pillows came with the set so be advised they do not. The only thing included is the comforter, the two pillow shams, and the bed skirt, other than that it is a very nice set. Now I will just have to pay more to buy the decrative pillows and Euro shams.

This is well made with great accents. The skirt is long and had to hem but I would rather it be long than short. Good quality material. Beautiful colors.

I bought this a few months ago and am still using it. The pillow does help keep you sleeping on your side. If sleeping on your side eliminates your snoring, this pillow will help you. If you snore like a mack truck pulling a load of gravel up a hill, this probably will not help you too much. I tried this in conjunction with one of the anti-snore mouthpieces on Amazon and was told that it cut the noise to a dull roar but did not stop the snoring to the point where other people could still sleep in the same room. I think it does help me breathe a bit better at nite and am still using it. The only downside is an occasional sore neck if you sleep on it the wrong way. If you are a "light snorer" and have room in the bed for it, I would definitely suggest you try it. This pillow was recommended for me following a medical sleep study. I stop breathing (20 times per hour) when I sleep on my back. That's every 3 minutes. Add to that the fact that my oxygen dropped 12%, and you KNOW I have a problem.

This pillow has stopped my snoring, according to my wife. I do seem to be getting better sleep. Had if for 2 weeks now, still adjusting to it.

Expensive.

You have to sleep with your arm out, under the pillow. It does not work without that. We used to have the bedroom fairly cold at night, under thick blankets. Had to turn the heater in the bedroom up a bit, your arm sticking out will get too cold in the winter.

You have to stick with it, and keep putting yourself in the correct position. It takes a while adjust, I am still getting used to it but I think soon it will be habit.

Chimney Balloon Fireplace Damper 36"X15" Draft Stopper Pillow Plug

Purchased 36x15 balloon through their website. I had a very hard time getting it in place. I probably ended up scraping it in the process, because the balloon would not hold air for more than a few days. I emailed Chimney Balloon last night. Within 12 hours someone called me, walked through my chimney dimensions (which were a little unsual). He offered a free replacement with a custom sized balloon!

***1 year update: balloon is still in place, holding air. Don't forget to check if it needs more air when it gets cold out (just like your car tires)

I recently bought three of these products directly from the manufacturer and have so far installed two of them. They are the proper size for each fireplace.

Here are some observations that may be of help to people considering purchase of this product. The fireplaces here are traditional (non-gas) wood-burning fireplaces with a metal damper just above the firebox.

For starters, after a number of attempts, I realized that I could not install the balloon well with the damper plate still in the flue. Why? My dampers are shaped like rectangles, with the long side parallel to the front of the fireplace. There is a rod that goes through the middle of the damper plate, left to right, and serves as a pivot to rotate this rectangular plate so that, when as open as it can be, perpendicular to the bottom of the fireplace, it leaves an opening on either side of only about 1 1/2"-2". You then have to insert the uninflated balloon through this very narrow opening and then, with your hand (mine is on the small side), which can barely fit through the opening, try to fit it to the opening so that , when inflated, it will form a good seal with the edges and so prevent air from escaping up the chimney. After a number of attempts I realized that I couldn't get a good enough fit. I would blow the balloon up partly until it started to shape itself to the sides, then test it to see how much leakage there was. I could not get a good seal. The way I figured out the fit is by using an incense stick, which I lit until there was a flame, which I then blew out, allowing a plume of smoke to rise from it. I then used a flashlight to see how the rising smoke would behave. I held the end of the stick about an inch away from the area being tested (be careful not to touch the balloon) . What I learned is that sometimes you would get the smoke curling up and sort of dawdling there as though it didn't know where to go. This was a sign of a good seal. Other times, the smoke would go straight up quickly in a thin plume through the opening that it found. No matter how often I awkwardly tried to reposition the balloon above the damper opening I wound up with a number of poor seals through which air just rushed out. Another problem with getting a good fit with the plate in place is that the "handle" through which you blow air extends down below the body of the balloon and so sticks out and into the damper opening below it, right next to the damper plate. (This is after removing the long tube used to blow air into the balloon.) I then examined the damper plate and realized that it could be removed by lifting up one end, angling that end up into the chimney about a foot (your proportions may well be different) and then pulling the rod out of the socket into which it fit on the other side. I could then bring the plate down through the opening, removing it.

After doing this it became possible to position the balloon, going through the same process as described above, but with much better success. By blowing it up partially, testing, sucking out some of the air, very gently repositioning it, and so on, I achieved a decent but still not great fit. At this point I realized that especially in some corners the balloon could not form itself tightly around the edges of the opening. I then came up with the notion of using polyfill (a cotton-like material) to seal up those particular areas. Now, when tested, I got a tight seal all around.

As I now see it, the main advantage of this system is that, if you want to start a fire in the fireplace, you could take the balloon down and then, with some hassle, put it back in later. It's not clear to me that, if you did not want to use the fireplace at all, this would be any better than fitting either a metal or wood covering above the firebox and sealing the edges with some sort of fire-resistant foam. You would, at least with my kind of set-up, have to remove the damper plate.

I might add that the instructions that come with the balloon make no mention of having to remove the damper plate. Perhaps it isn't necessary in all cases but it certainly was in mine. If you do decide to install one of these do wear safety glasses and an aspirator rated for fine toxic dust would probably be a good idea as stuff can come down on you as you face upward. Others have remarked that this is a dirty job. True, and then some. I would suggest putting some plastic sheeting on the firebox floor and the parts of the fireplace exterior to that floor.

As time allows I will post some additional remarks.

I purchased this item directly from the manufacturer. I had wasps coming down my chimney and they managed to get around the flue. I was able to seal my fireplace doors but would have maybe 60-70 dead\dying insects in my fireplace by the end of summer. This item has solved my problem. Update: I noticed when removing CB last fall that the balloon was slightly deflated. After contacting the company and doing some simple diagnostic tests we were able to determine the valve on the extension was leaking. I have had regular back pain caused by scoliosis. A restful night's sleep was difficult to come by on my regular innerspring mattress. When I decided to jump on the memory foam mattress band wagon, I researched everything from Tempurpedic's 5.3 lb. density luxury dream mattress (and even went to Brookstone to enjoy a lunch time, mock-siesta on a few of the samples), to Walmart's 2.5 lb. density imitation (which, by the way, happens to run about the same price as SleepShop's higher quality version).

In short, I decided to purchase this mattress on the strength of its density rating, and the reviews here on Amazon. Needless to say, when the mattress arrived, we discovered that it was a thick, quality looking and feeling product (not to mention a heavy one). It feels to me to be similar in firmness to Tempurpedic's "Original Bed." When you first lay on it, it may seem as though nothing special happens, but you'll soon find that the memory foam begins to do its job as you feel yourself enveloped by the quilted material. True to the advertisements, the memory foam molds to your body and cradles you in a state of suspended animation.

In the end, I have slept like never before on this mattress. I have woken up at 5am each morning feeling rested and pain-free. As hyped as this testimonial may sound, it does not even begin to chronicle the benefits I have derived from this mattress in the short time I have owned it. The moral here is: this bed is well worth the price tag.

A few other small notes for the conscientious shopper:

-I received a shipping notification email from SleepShop a day after I'd placed my order on Amazon.

-The mattress arrived by FedEx (who dutifully brought it up the stairs and laid it on the bedroom floor for me) 2 business days after I had made the purchase.

-The content of the warranty information is indeed puny and the company seems averse to putting their contact information in the public view, but one hopes that neither will ever be needed.

-And finally, yes, there is a "plastic" smell that emanates from the product and lingers in the air for about a week or so. I can imagine that those with particularly sensitive noses might find this off-putting, but don't let that discourage you from purchasing this mattress. Even if this bed smelled like sauerkraut for a year, I would still happily traipse off to bed for night after night of comatose-like bliss with fairies and sugarplums dancing in my head--only with a nose plug firmly in place. ;)

Well, my three-year old was a bit disappointed when she discovered that you couldn't bounce on our new mattress, but my wife and I have loved it. My wife, who is pregnant, has loved it since the first night, and no longer has any pain in her sciatic nerve like she did on our previous mattress.

It's very comfortable. I was worried it might be too hard or too soft or not supportive enough, but it really does just feel great. I don't know if the 12" is truly any better than the 10", but we certainly don't regret getting the extra 2 inches of depth.

Negatives:

My wife has mentioned that it has an odor of plastic or something, but I haven't noticed it. She still wouldn't trade it for anything, though. It's only been one week though, and even that may dissipate with a little more time.

And the warranty is actually pretty limited. Nevertheless, if we have to pay to replace it even 5 years from now, it will have been worth it.

This bed is simply fantastic. I have a lot of back problems that prevented me from sleeping through the night. Since we got this bed about 1 month ago, I haven't been up with back pain once and don't constantly toss and turn all through the night to get comfortable. The quality of my sleep had improved beyond belief. My husband says he is sleeping better too.

We had slept on a Tempur-Pedic while on vacation and liked it. Since that vacation we had been discussing buying one but I really didn't like the price that went with the Tempur-Pedic brand. When I found this bed on Amazon I had a hard time convincing my husband to try it. He was hesitant because he thought it was so much cheaper than the equivalent Tempur-Pedic (or any decent traditional mattress for that matter) it couldn't possible be any good. Fortunately I was persistent enough to wear him down.

We are both extremely happy with the bed. He says he notices a slight difference between this bed and the name brand one but I don't. (I don't think it could get any better than this bed.) I've become a walking advertisement to all our friends and family. It has been great for us.

I have noticed that the price on this bed has changed quite a bit. When I first looked at the bed it was $150 cheaper than it was the day I wrote this review. I'm not sure if it jumps around or if it has been steadly been going up. The bed would still be well worth the price at $150 more.

Shipping was no problem; the bed arrived a little over a week after we ordered it. I did e-mail the Sleep Shop a couple of times about shipping and deliver and got very good customer service. The bed did have an odor when you first open it but that dissipates within a couple of weeks. I did not receive a copy of a warranty with the bed and have to contact the Sleep Shop about getting one but as another reviewer said even if you have to replace it every 5-10 years it would be worth it.

Having slept on this bed for over a month now, here are my thoughts:

1. For a few months I started having back problems (I am 34 and an athlete), decided to switch the mattress to help it, and this one has done just that. I really like the mattress. It is comfortable yet still somewhat firm very supportive of the lower back (i.e. cannot feel any separation between back and mattress when I put my hand back there)

2. Mattress is heavy. Took a huge effort to get this mattress in place. Definitely useful to have a second person.

3. I did not have much a problem with the smell. I opened the mattress and let it sit in the living room for 4 days before switching it out and the smell is gone.

4. One problem to note, and I am not sure if this is the same with Tempurpedic, you have to sleep/lie at least a foot from the edge (maybe not if you are smaller. I am 6'2" 205lbs) else the edge of the bed ends up collapsing too much to support you. This is the case with a spring mattress, but not usually this far from the edge. Needless to say it does turn the queen bed into something somewhat smaller than before.

5. Customer support is awesome, particularly Tony. When I received the mattress I washed the cover (gentle cycle) to help get rid of the smell. Unfortunately, the memory foam in the cover tore off in some places. Turns out that with this cover it needs to be handwashed. The tag was not clear on this, and is now being fixed. Without a single argument, Tony had a new cover shipped out to me at no charge. It arrived 5 days later. Buying from an internet company is always iffy, but this one was great.

My original review is below. It's now 6 months later and I can't even explain how awful this thing has become. It is sooooooo soft now it bends you while you sleep. My wife and I have never been in so much pain in our lives. Time to swallow our $800 mistake and start the mattress search again!

First I just want to say that I was VERY nervous about buying this bed online and having it shipped via Fedex to me. I can say now that if you are reading this review thinking the same thing, it is packaged very well. It came in a box and was double wrapped (with one layer being the thickest plastic I've ever felt) and banded. It came in perfect shape.

I work in a store that sells mattresses, and if you are shopping for one you should know that the markup is 4-5 times the cost. Knowing that, I never thought that the quality of the bed would be poor. It is very easy to produce a high quality mattress and sell it for $799 shipped while taking home a profit. I like this mattress. It is on the firm side for memory foam, and if you go lay on a Tempurpedic bed, you will find they are very often more plush than this bed. Yes, it does have the typical new memory foam smell, and for the first day it will be pretty strong. After that, throw a mattress cover and a sheet on it and you will be fine.

As far as longevity, I don't expect to get more than 5-6 years out of a mattress and 10 out of a foundation. I don't care what the warranty is, good luck getting anything replaced if the bed doesn't have a visible sag. Most product these days will rebound back to its original shape but will lose it's supportive qualities long before it is visibly sagging. Hopefully I get that out of this and it doesn't fail to perform after only 3 years.

Go to a store and ask to try out a memory foam bed and tell them you prefer a firm mattress. That should give you a decent idea of what this bed will sleep like. If you like that then give this a try. Just realize that if you don't like it, there's pretty much no way you are going to be able to package this up and ship it back.
